The chicken tamale I just got for lunch was FANTASTIC. Great textures, (nothing was soggy or dry - just perfect), and the right base level of spice. Delicious flavors. The young man at the counter was polite, friendly and sincerely charming. The space is clean and calm. I am super psyched I found a quick, easy and reasonably priced place to grab lunch during the workweek. Also planning to get takeout food for some upcoming family dinners. The quesabirrias were the MVP of this meal that were delicious and out of the box-it's too bad that birria isn't as commonplace yet. The burrito was good, but not spectacular. The red sauce was good, and the green sauce was good, and the toppings for the quesabirrias were good as well. I was introduced to Fresh & Natural by my coworkers. I saw them having food delivered almost every day from the same place and had to ask them where it was from. They were totally surprised I hadn't heard of Fresh & Natural. They explained it was a family owned and operated small business they have been frequenting for years. The first item I selected to try was a breakfast burrito (even if it was for lunch, who doesn't love breakfast for lunch of dinner?). Now, I'm used to ordering a breakfast burrito and getting a huge tortilla filled with far more food than I could eat in one sitting. I was pleasantly surprised when I was handed a normal-sized burrito, but thought it looked a little on the small side. After finishing the burrito, I was surprised how nicely full I was, but not overfilled. The content and quality of everything was great and perfectly filled me for the rest of the work day. Next up was a simple bean and cheese burrito. I've found that over the years there are two types of bean and cheese burritos, whole pinto bean and refried. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out they used whole pinto beans, as I find them more flavorful and far less greasy. I did make the mistake of ordering a regular (I only order the small size now) sized the first time, and it was enormous. It was incredibly flavorful, the cheese was melted perfectly and once gain, everything tasted fresh and filling. Unless you want enough food for a couple of meals, go for the small the first time at least! The final item I frequently order is the chicken quesadilla. This is definitely my favorite most of the time. I find it to be the perfect amount of food for a lunch when I'm on the more hungry side. The quesadilla comes with some nicely seasoned chicken, melted cheese on a grilled tortilla. It is cut into multiple pieces and comes with guac, sour cream and salsa. If I'm not really hungry, it may be too much for lunch, but a leftover quesadilla is never a bad thing! We joke at work that all the food tastes so "fresh and natural" as we don't feel "gut bombed" no matter how much we eat of there food. I think that is a testament to high quality ingredients combined with talented and trained staff who obviously know how to cook. If you haven't tried Fresh & Natural, put it on your list! read more

The worst place I ever been. Was hungry and decided to stop by and get something yummy. I ordered a torta. I saw how they made it , they just use torta bread put manes, lettuce and some ham then put it in the microwave. Horrible. I dint want to be rude and took it with me but you never put a torta in a microwave. Horrible place. read more

I tried the restaurant today and was a little disappointed. First, the relleno came out with no egg batter and barely warm. The rice and beans were good. Thee ala carte chicken tamale in banana leaf seemed old, and the meat was too stringy to swallow. Not sure if it was even chicken. The Esquites were sooo salty as to be inedible - and the cook said essentially "too bad". Obviously will not be back. read more

So many reasons to love this place. I'm giving it five stars for the elote and flan specifically. All of the other food I have had is just okay. And in their defense, it's because they are trying to be healthier by omitting the extra grease, lard, and fat. However, with that said, their flan is the creamiest best flan I have ever had. Their elote is perfectly cooked and seasoned just the way I like it! I regularly get the gazpacho with the chamoy and chile spices. I ask for it on the side when I get it delivered. The place itself is in a weird little crevice on west 11th. A lot of drink and smoothie options and breakfast options I have yet to try. All in all I like these guys and I recommend. After reading the reviews my son and I decided to try this place. We got a wet burrito, chorizo & egg torta, as well as a chicken one and a elote. The wet burrito was just okay the sauce tasted like ordinary enchilada sauce, the chicken in the torta was bland, the elote wasn't pleasant to eat and the tajin was forgotten so just tasted like mayo and butter. This is one of my go-to breakfast places. I usually get a smoothie and the fresh boy burrito. I ask them to add avocado, green sauce, and hold the hash browns to make it lower carb. They are always willing to accommodate this, and they actually know my breakfast order by heart and we all know each others' names at this point which I very much appreciate. The fresh boy burrito is a good portion that you are satisfied but not overly full. I love the fresh boy because I can usually work a whole day and don't have to worry about food again until dinner. I also don't get indigestion from their food, which is sometimes a challenge for me when I'm eating out at other places. They always greet you with kindness and a friendly hello when you walk in the door. I also like the wet burrito. I love their array of fresh fruit cups and desserts. One thing to note is that a lot of their savory food isn't particularly extra spicy or "hot." I think they do this to accommodate a wide range of customers and personal tastes. So if you like extra heat and flavor, simply ask them for one of their many salsas to add onto your food. I like their green sauce, but they do have some spicier hotter ones. I think they have some of the best smoothies in town. I particularly like the Pepino Diablito, the Red Tango and their Powekmint (cucumber, apple, and mint) smoothie. The taro boba smoothie is so good if you can have dairy. I'm also a big fan of their flan, chocolate flan, and other desserts. I've gotten food here for years. They have a large menu of healthy yummy food options. I still haven't tried everything on the menu since I usually stick to my tried and true favorites. I also recommend calling in your order because they make everything fresh on the spot. They usually ask about 10 to 15 minutes to prepare your order. Which is why I prefer to call it in and pick it up to avoid waiting. This is a family owned local business I love to support. read more

My fiancé and I have been coming here since we were 15. An amazing local family-owned business! They started in the mall and moved to their now West 11th address. TL;DR: don't sleep on this place. It's delish. Embarrassing to say, but I never stopped in before because of the parking lot. It's small and seemed hard to get in/out of. BUT after today, I'm regretting every opportunity I skipped lunch here. This place is a small, unassuming shop with great customer service and arguably the best torta I've ever encountered. The menu is broad with lots of fresh fruits and smoothies. I knew I wanted a torta so I asked the man taking orders what kind of meat he prefers. He said carnitas so that's what I got. I added a chocolate flan to the order, too. I came right at the end of a lunch rush, so I think my 10-14 minute wait was a little longer than normal since the guy thanked me multiple times for waiting. The torta was delicious. Like, so damn tasty. The meat was perfect, the bread is light and fluffy but toasted perfectly, and the veggies on it were fresh and delicious. Plus, it was huge. The chocoflan was a fun change and something I'd definitely get again. Caramely, chocolatey custardy cake. Can't go wrong! Without a doubt, I will be back. I ordered delivery from Fresh and Natural Mexican Eatery a few nights ago: a chile verde burrito for hubby and tamales for me. After reading Dan F.'s review I really wanted to try the mole so I opted for the banana leaf tamales (which are chicken + mole) and asked for an extra side of mole. The sauce was really good, super dark and rich, but also spicier than I was expecting! The burrito got a good review from my partner, though it seemed on the smaller side compared to some other restaurant/carts burrito sizes. You know, the ones so big you aren't even sure how to go about eating it. But this one actually looked like the perfect size for me, but not to him. ;) I'm interested in trying some of Fresh and Natural's smoothies & other frozen or fruit creations, but that just didn't seem like it would travel as well for delivery, so I'll try an in-person pick up next time. read more

Great restaurant/bakery/juice bar. I had their carnita torta, and it was quite good, though a little different from what I was used to. The carnitas was more white meat, rather than the brown, sause-soaked meat I am more familiar with. Overall, the sandwich was much less greasy than what I am used to. Normally, I prefer something greasier, but they managed to pull off the less greasy version of the sandwich just fine. Also, we had the large Maui smoothy, and it was great. read more

WOW! I was told this place had amazing smoothies and oh my, THEY REALLY DO! I ordered a strawberry Diablito and it had a strawberry smoothie component mixed with tamarind I mixture. I ordered a "Haiti" smoothie as well just in case I wasn't fond of the diablito. The customer service was incredible and every staff person was genuinely kind! Both smoothies were excellent!!!!! The name doesn't convey awesome Mexican food and may not grab your attention, but this restaurant serves up incredible food. We've been leaning on them for our dinners pretty often during COVID. Their mole sauce is the best I've had outside of New Mexico. The food is spicy enough to be interesting and flavorful. They have gluten-free options, too! The staff have always been kind and thoughtful, as well. So glad they're here in Eugene! read more

This place is legit. My girlfriend just brought me back the best steak wet burrito. She had the chicken Chile Relleno and said it was wonderful (I snuck a bite and it was pretty darn good - fresh shredded chicken). We have been wanting to try this place for a while and we were very pleased. She said they place smelled great - of fresh baked bread. She also brought home a piece of Mexican sweet bread and it was delicious. The prices seemed good too. The bread we got was $1 and it was huge!!! Only reason I did not give 5 stars is that she asked for red mole sauce and got green. I am surprised this place does not have more reviews. You will not be disappointed! I went here today and was hoping for way better food than what i got... I am Mexican American. I do know good Mexican food..and sometimes i believe its what you order...but i simply orded hard shell ground beef tacos..because its a favorite i grew up on. The taco shell was pre made...( taco bell style) the meat had little flavor...strange white cheese & romaine lettuce. The shell broke the first bite... The saving grace was the mango Diablito..that was amazing...especially on a warm day. I will go back just for that. read more
