I ended up getting the Asada Fries and they were delicious but there was a huge difference in ratio between fries and everything else, the carne asada was very minimal and little flavor, other than that service was great, Horchata was good but a bit too sweet. Have been going here for about 6 years and never once had a problem with anything. Last night my family ordered Birria tacos. these come with a dipping sauce or broth. They charged $4.00 for the broth. Everywhere else I;ve went includes this at no extra charge. There excuse for charging a ridiculous amount was, "We cook our Birriia differently than other places. They also use rice and beans to fill up the burrito instead of more meat.I ordered a Carne Asada taco and it was a half Carne Asada and half shredded beef taco which I didn't order. My hubbies order of a Carne Asada burrito and yet once again filled with mostly rice and beans. So Now I have no idea what changed except grocery bill. It might also be management. They unfortunately are losing us as customers. They are trying to nickel dime their customers. I can't patronize a business who cuts their quality of food over profit. I will now try other places. My wife and I were in Eugene on a day trip. After our last stop of the day, we went looking for a taco truck for a late lunch, but came across El Super Taco within a few blocks and decided to give it a try. Neither of us were looking for a large meal and we both ended up ordering two tacos each. Our plates were delivered to our table and we both said Wow! The tacos were simply some of the best visually that I'd ever seen, and their taste easily managed to match their appearance. They were also bigger than your typical taco truck tacos and easily filled our bellies. On top of everything, the restaurant was scrupulously clean and well organized - including the single bathroom. All of the people working were very polite and friendly. If I'm ever in the area again, El Super Taco is well worth the 15 minute drive from I-5. Simply outstanding food. read more

Updating my review from many previous visits. This morning we decided to order 2 sausage breakfast burritos. We ordered them to-go. Portions are huge, price is average for a burrito. The tortilla is light brown & the inside is stuffed with mainly potatoes. Which, in my opinion is overkill. All I get is potatoes. I have to scrap some out to be able to enjoy it. There's sausage, cheese, and eggs inside as well. You definitely want the salsa to go with (we get verde) otherwise it's a little dry. This time I hardly had any egg or sausage in there & only found 2 spots of cheese. The potatoes are cooked through this time. We have been here several times for all meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I've ordered several different options from the menu- mainly cause I can't find something that blows me out of the water. Ive had the super nachos, huge, and topped with lots but quickly gets soggy & the bottom has nothing on it. Enchiladas, chimichanga, fajita burritos, burritos- asada, & quesadilla's. While this place has consistently been one of my favorite places to get Mexican food I have been a bit disappointed the last couple times we have been in. They have Sopes which is amazing because not many Mexican food places have them here! The last few times I have opted for a cheese steak burrito. The first time I had it it was great. The last two times tho have been a bit of a bummer. When you hear cheese steak you expect more like steak cuts but the last two times it has been shredded beef that is a bit spicy and the first time it was not. It still has good flavor but it is just not what I was expecting or consistent. I also could barely find the guac and sour cream that was supposed to be in the buritto. Made fresh and packed with chicken. Thier taco plate is also great, and very filling. My buddy is working his way through thier burrito menu and we have yet to have a bad meal there. This place is close to work for me and occasionally I will go here for a quick lunch. First, the burrito is okay, not spectacular. However, their Cubana torta is really good. I have to get it without beef, but everything plays nicely. It is not the usual Cuban with mustard. This has thousand island and mayo and go together nicely. They also give you extras like spicy veggies and a slow cooker with jalapenos and onions. Really good stuff. You nearby and just need something quick and good.
