My daughter needed a dress altered, the sleeves needed to be altered and the waist needed to be taken in. We dropped the dress off on 9/14. While we were there having the dress pinned there were multiple other customers in the store. There were two ladies pinning my daughter's dress while she had it on and while we are explaining what we needed done. She told us to pick it up the following Friday. Long story short it took her 2 1/2 months (we went several times to pick it up) and she only did half of the alteration and then argued with me about the second half that we had asked to be done. First stating we never asked for the dress to be taken in, then she stated it's too much work to take the dress in. I told her that if it was too much for her to do, she should've said so and we could've taken it elsewhere. Now she's used up 2 1/2 months and we need to dress right away. She then told me to leave the dress and she would do it that day. Excuse me? I thought you just said it was too difficult and now you want to do it in one day? I told her that there was no way I was gonna leave the dress with her another day, especially since she had 2 1/2 months to get the work done. Since she charged ahead of time for the work ($85) I assumed I was paying for the entire alteration. Now, I don't know what I was paying for and since the receipt didn't indicate (in any detail) what's being done I have no way of getting any portion of my money back. I went here to get 1 dress pressed and this older rude women looks at my dress and just throws out $18 dollars, I just happened to mention that the dry cleaners on C Street does it for $10 but due to road closed I came her and then she just went off on me She became very angry and started telling me her sister would be made because of the wrinkles in the dress and started on the price etc...so at that point I realized I am dealing with "crazy" and walked out and would you believe walking to my car I could still hear her running her angry comments, unbelievable!!!! I changed from a cleaner in Galt to Fresh cleaners about 20 years ago. I am somewhat old fashioned when it comes to the shirts I wear to work or casual dress occasions. I am a large man and feel that being clean and not looking wrinkled or disheveled makes for a better personal presentation. My shirts are similar to a type of shirt worn by sheriffs. These shirts are nice quality and have hidden button down collar with a vented back. When i first took shirts there I paid about $4.50 per shirt and would bring in 3 to 7 shirts each week. I didn't wear them as much during the pandemic but now with work and life coming.back to normal we have been taking in shirts. My wife went into store to pick up 3 shirts on Tuesday and the bill was just a bit over 60 dollars she didn't think about it at the time but lat3er went back to see if a mistake was made. They were adamant that these were not shirts but were the same as a dress jacket and that price was 18.95 per items in that category. Today i went to drop of shirts as i was sure there was a mistake. An older clerk than the one I usually talk to said there was no mistake and the 8 shirts I brought in would cost 151.50 plus taxes. If I continued to use them my average monthly cost would be 488.00 or 5856.00 a year. I pay about 44.00 for these shirts when 5.11 has a sale. I think i might just buy new shirts, wear them for 3 days and throw them out. The rating of 2 stars would have been 5 if not for price gouging.. read more

HORRIBLE; AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! I live VERY close to this cleaners so it is very convenient for me to take my alterations and cleanings to them but after a SECOND horrible experience I am changing my cleaners. FIRST, I took my suit to her on a Monday and needed alterations done by the following Tuesday because I had an event on Wednesday I needed to wear it to. When I walked in at 6:30pm on Tuesday my suit was on the BOTTOM of the alteration pile. When I asked her why she didn't have my suit ready she looked in the computer and confirmed that it was to be done that day and only said, "Ill have it tomorrow." NO I'm sorry, or offering a discount. SECOND, I took 5 pairs of designers jeans to this place, all on the same day. Three of them were 32 inch inseam (what I asked for) and TWO of my +$300 designer jeans were 30 inches. When I told her they were too short and asked if she could redo them and make them a little longer she said it was not possible and there was nothing she could do about it. NO SORRY, NO FREE offer for my 5 pairs of jeans, NOTHING. Now that is over $600 worth in designer jeans down the drain, plus I had to pay for them! It's always been the same Asian woman; I think she may be the owner. AVOID; she is rude, hard to understand, unprofessional, selfish, doesn't even do a good job, and every time you walk it she acts as if you are bothering her. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY I live right down the block from Fresh Cleaners and have given them my business countless times for dry cleaning. I recently decided to try them for a broken zipper in a pair of jeans. After picking up the jeans, I wore them one time before the zipper broke again. I mentioned the issue to the owner when I was in there picking up some dry cleaning at a later date and she encouraged me to bring the jeans back in for repair. I brought them in. She told me that the jeans were not the jeans that she worked on and that I what I was presenting to her was an entirely different pair of jeans. She wanted me to pay again for repairs. If accusing a loyal customer of lying is how you want to do business, I will no longer do my business here. read more

The prices are ridiculously high. The man is very rude. Now they have a older lady that is rude. Very confused. Can't find my shirts but I see that they are there. ZERO STARS!!!!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! The only reason it's a one star is because the of app making me choose one! First of all called the cleaners to see how much it would be for 2 patches. They said $7! Cool we walk in she says $10. Ok whatever come to find out she charged $20! Literally went in for 2 patches on the uniform. Talked to the lady for her to do it correctly because it's a military uniform and can't be fucked up. The uniform was needed the next day. Went back the next day to pick it up and of course she fucked it up! So now I had to wait until the following day to pick it up! Horrible and lying service! So I have been taking my clothes to this location for 13 years. The first owner I knew for 10 years and she was great. The business turned over to a gentleman who lasted 11/2 year. The new owner is an older lady who seems to be overwhelmed and forgetful. I go to this place about every 2-3 weeks. In the first 11 1/2 years the business has never lost any of my clothes. About a week ago the new owner stated that she thought she had my pants. She said the identification label fell off and to come back when it was back in the shop so I could identify my pants. So, I did get these pants back but I tried to talk to her about my missing blouse and she said she would look for it. I reaIized that I actually have 2 blouses missing. I went in to talk to this older lady about the 2 blouses and talked about the pants that had the label fall off. Well, now she tells me that the label did not fall off that the pants but actually the pants were under my clothes that I brought in (she did not see the pants under the pile) and that it was not in the final count of the order and that's why the pants were not there to pick up with my clothes. I started to tell her that my missing blouses added up to $75 and she completely dismissed me. So, I am at fault for not looking through my clothes when I drop them off and when I pick them up. It would have been nice to get some admission that the mistake could have been her fault. She says she is going to look for my blouses but I doubt it. Check your stuff before and after. read more

Won't be going here again. I have gone with them before a couple of times and no issues, but last week on Thursday November 22 I took a couple of my husband Business suits there to get it clean for a very important law enforcement academy, went to go pick up the suits and there was a big yellow stain on his white business shirt. So the lady said "oh I don't know how that happen but we will get it off, so come back Thursday November 29, we will take care of it." I was like ok thank you it's ok I understand it can happen. So I came back on November 29 and the stain was still very visible... I told the lady that he can't have his shirt like this, what can they do to get it out even more.? She said "just leave it here and come back tomorrow Friday November 30 and this time it'll be gone." And was kinda laughing about it. At this point my husband and I are getting upset, because it shouldn't be like this. So here we are it's Friday, went to go pick up the shirt AND the stain is still very little visible. I told the lady I still can see it and once he puts a white shirt under neath it's gonna show even more. She laugh and said she "can't see it and put her face on his shirt." I told her I'm not gonna take the chances of him wearing that shirt and get in trouble, once again he is going into a law enforcement academy so everything needs to be sharp and clean. At this point I went out said to call my husband to see what he wanted to do, he told me to ask for our money back. I went back in and asked if we can get our money back, she looked at me and said oh "I can't come back Wednesday when the owner is here." "What do you mean come back on Wednesday?" If it's a credit card thing I can see that, but I was asking if you can just refund me in cash. She said " oh ok then just come back Monday." So I'm asking for my money back in cash you can't give it to me? I felt like I was going in circle, I had to come back not once but three times for this shirt.. you would think at the second time I had to come back and get the shirt they would give me my money back. I absolutely love this dry cleaner!! The people there are so nice and friendly. Granted it probably doesn't take that much to be a good dry cleaning place (get stuff clean and stains out, etc) but they go above and beyond that. I'm the first to admit I'm a bit absent minded at times so there's been a few occasions where I've forgotten to pick up my dry cleaning and I always get a call if I haven't been in for a week. Moved here from out of town owned a $150 business dress that I always have dry cleaned do to intricate beading work of pearls around the front collar. Had the dress for 3 yrs. never any problem with other dry cleaners. The 2nd time I brought it here they destroyed the beading. I didn't realize it until I was on my way to interview. I had to wear the broken beaded dress to the interview. I brought it back to them & they thought they could fix the sowing. But I don't think it was possible. Nearly 100 pearls with thread popping out & thread twirled up together so the pearls no longer laid flat. I declined their offer to try to fix it as I saw no point. They clearly ruined the dress. They offered no other exchange & I had to have an expensive men's shirt dry cleaned within 2 days & they ended up shrinking the shirt! Why would I bring it to the dry cleaner if I want things broken & shrunk?!?! I will NEVER go back & I recommend you do not either. Super friendly staff! Super bad dry cleaner. Sad. read more

i took a long pair of jeans to alter to make into a capri pants. When I tried them on, one pant leg was longer than the other. When I told the owner (Asian lady) that they are not even, she took out her measuring tape to show me that they are even. Why then when I put them on, one is longer than the other. I had her correct it. She said "Fine. But not again." What the heck? Obviously, her work is substandard that they appear uneven. She had the nerve to be angry when it is her fault. NEVER get your pants hemmed there! I took a brand new pair of linen pants to be hemmed that I got for my vacation and told them twice to hem them to a 29. I get them back and they are 26! I couldn't even let the hem out. I've had other pants come back with one leg slightly higher than the other but thought I'd give it another chance since I hadn't been there in a long time. NEVER! ZERO STARS!!!! Never EVER give this business my money again. I have been here a few times and haven't had a problem but this last visit will forever stop me from entering this establishment again. I took a skirt in to get repaired back in December 2016. It was a hole that was CLOSE to the zipper. Not on the zipper but by it. I had asked her to please stitch the hole. The zipper worked perfectly. No issues what so ever with the zipper. I get the skirt back and completely my fault but I checked the stitch work and the hole was gone but the stitching was a little excessive I would say and extremely close to the zipper. So fast forward to last week and I tried the skirt on since it's been warmer and I could wear it to work. Mind you it's a very nice professional long work skirt and one of my favorites. The zipper, already unzipped from the start, won't zip up now!!! It gets caught on the excessive extra stitching that was apparently needed to stitch the hole. I go in two days ago (3/25/17) and POLITELY tell her that I needed her to fix the stitching so that the zipper could zip up again. The Asian lady that is always there, I assume the owner, immediately told me that she didn't do the work and she's the only person that works there that stitches clothing and that it's not her work. Completely shocked I asked her to look up my number and see that she did in fact stitch it since I have only been there. She did and while looking it up she continued to say that it wasn't done by her and no way because she doesn't remember the skirt. She FINALLY finds the history of the skirt and then says well that was months ago!!! She starts looking at the skirt and says " not cause my stitching, you need new zipper" I politely said "No, my zipper was perfectly fine. The stitching is in the way. Could you please redo the stitching ?" She starts to get very mad and flustered saying that she would give me a good deal on the new zipper!!! Wth!? She said $18!!!!! Then $14!!!! But the stitch work was only $4.50!!!!! So I told her that I wasn't going to pay triple for a new zipper when it's not the zipper!! I said the stitching is in the way and I shouldn't be charged for you to fix it. She grabbed the skirt out of my hands and tore out the stitching!! Then roughly proceeded to zip up the zipper!! She NEVER took out the cut thread so it got all tangled and stuck in the zipper!!! UGH!!! She threw it down on the desk and said that I needed to buy a new zipper. Well obviously now since you got it stuck!!!!!! I was so mad I said No! You broke my zipper now you should replace it!! She threw her hands up mumbled some words and then went into the back!! Me standing there, I was thinking she was going to come back out with a new zipper to fix the hole and the zipper but NOPE!!!!! SHE PROCEEDED TO FINISH DRY CLEANING OTHER ITEMS!!!!!!! Completely ignored me!!!!!! So now my skirt has a hole again, one I already paid to get fixed, and now the zipper is stuck on the threads she cut!!!!! Then disrespectfully left the front to go tend to her work while I'm standing there for her to come back and solve the problem she created!!!!!! SCREW HER AND THIS BUSINESS!!!!!!
