ALTERATIONS ONLY I needed to get a dress hemmed that I had purchased online. My usual place closed down and someone recommended fresh cleaners. I was greeted pleasantly by the owner. She led me to addressing room, where I put on the dress, and she proceeded to pin it to the height/length I wanted. She said it would be ready in three days. I was quite happy since I wanted to wear it for a special occasion. when she gave me the bill, I almost fainted the price for hemming a cotton dress with no lining was $40. when I picked up the dress it was perfectly hemmed but I felt it was overpriced. read more

High prices! I very rarely write negative reviews, but this one deserves one for awareness. Their prices are very high. I have gone to them since I moved to Sanford/Lake Mary however today they wanted to charge $45 for a zipper fix on a $40 dress. I understand the world is expensive right now & their time is worth money, but $45... that is absolutely outrageous. I will be going elsewhere moving forward. read more

I was a first time customer and dropped off floor length drapes that were custom from a home we just purchased. When I received the curtains back, they had shrunk several inches. I paid $430.00 for this service for drapes that are now ruined. I was never told shrinking was a possibility. When I called to inform the shop of what happened, the shop said that I signed a paper that stated damage was possible. She never explained what the paper was when I signed it which is now on me and definitely a mistake on my part. She did not care that my drapes were ruined, she just kept saying I signed a paper. $430.00 for ruined drapes. read more

This lace was great in the years it first opened but now it is waaaaaay overpriced for clothing I wonder if they cleaned at all! My clothes don't in smelling like anything, however when I get them back they smell bad like someone else's body. So gross. The same happened with my comforter. Now I drive to Orlando to get my things actually cleaned nicely. Sad this business not good anymore, as was very convenient to my home. read more

I brought a tie here and I let them know the exact stain to clean. When I came back to pick it up, the stain was still there. I expressed my disappointment in getting the stain out and they said "we tried everything" and to "let them know what stain to get out next time". I told her that I DID let them know what stain to concentrate on. I asked if I have to pay and she told me that I still have to pay because "we put labor into it". She also offered a "special treatment" for TEN more dollars! So they tried "everything" and yet there's still a "special treatment" they could have used? I asked if there's anything they can do like give me a coupon for next time and she said that they don't have any coupons. Ah, customer service nowadays has gone out the window. I LOVE this dry cleaners. I used jump around a lot because sometimes it is just more convenient to pick up clothes depending on which area of town work takes me but this is the most ethical cleaners I have been to thus far. This is family business and every time I've interacted with someone it was someone who clearly cares about the business and the quality of the cleaning. DO NOT COME HERE unless you want your pristine whites to come back stained. I dropped off a white blazer for pressing, looked at the blazer with the owner when I dropped it to show that it was brand new and had no marks, only to pick it up the next day stained. I showed the stain to the owner, and she had the audacity to lie to my face that we had never looked at it before and that it must have been stained before I dropped it. I would NEVER EVER return to a business that has NO INTEGRITY. Everyone has a bad day once in a while, but to not take RESPONSIBILITY, and to instead try to blame me is unacceptable. read more

Passionate about their work and your garments. You know, I normally don't write reviews but noticed a few negative reviews about this place by folks who clearly don't use cleaners on a weekly basis. I found Fresh Cleaners on their grand opening. Not being 100% satisfied with my old, closer to home Cleaners I gave them a try. Loved them! Since then, I spend an average of $80.00 - $120.00 weekly on dry-cleaning. I have many suites and shirts. The only reason for me spending more than $400.00 a month at this place is because they are good and deliver on what they promise! When something went wrong once - they fixed it in just a few days! Easy to work with, affordable and professional. I drop my stuff off - I pick it up on the promised date and my suites, shirts and pants look great each and every time! That's all I need to stay with them for my dry-cleaning. No cleaners are perfect - but they're damn close to being one of them. Excellent service. If you need same day cleaning, all you need to do is drop off by 9am and let them know. Another bonus is that the environmentally chemicals they use aren't as harsh as most cleaners, which helps preserve the life of your clothes. I've utilized a lot of cleaners in the past that have done great work. One small value-add feature I really appreciate about Fresh Cleaners is the way they fix the arms of my shirts in a crossed position using a small plastic clip. It's really helpful in preserving the press. Recommend them highly. read more
