Only Good Windows responded and sent someone out to do an estimate. They just finished the job. The original estimate was done from the ground, however when the technician was able to get the unit out of the frame, (This is an old style window), we both saw that additional work had to be done. The tech did the work and did an excellent job. It was only a bit more over the original estimate, but quite reasonable. I highly recommend Good Window Works.

When Yuri came to fix it, it ended up more complicated than it seemed, which I didn't realize. He took the time to fix both the top & bottom windows. After a few days, there was some weird thing/sound going on, so he came back to check it out. Of course, there was another part that had to be replaced. Who knew windows were so complex? Not me. The part came in, so he installed it & thankfully all is well! I totally recommend.

I even called and left a message for the owner but never heard back from them so here goes.... Our experience was absolutely terrible. Our contractor recommended them for the glass for our shower. When they installed the glass they cracked the newly installed wall tile when putting the hinges for the door on the wall. We discovered this right after they left. We also discovered the large piece of glass had a scratch in it. Since we were rehabbing the entire bathroom we asked them to replace it. They said we could either get a discount and keep the glass or they would replace it. That seemed fair. We discussed it and since we had spent a good amount of money on the new bathroom we wanted everything to look new so we decided we wanted new glass. There was a substantial delay in getting the glass ordered. A few days ago they came to replace the glass. The person who was working to remove the scratched glass became frustrated after a period of time of hauling on it and taking out the caulking. He then apparently got so frustrated trying to remove it that he decided he would just leave the scratched glass in place, put new caulking in and leave. He walked off the job site and refused to speak to our contractor. After our contractor finally contacted him he said He wasn't coming back. Basically wiped his hands clean and said he was finished. (Wow.) He also said he didn't want anymore money and refused to return to finish the job. That's good because they weren't going to get any more money. Now my wife and I are hoping the glass will not leak. We're really kind of stuck with what they've done. And now since they initially tried to remove the glass the door doesn't close properly. Thanks guys. You rock. I would not recommend this company. Their website says that they are - get this - "a family owned business that "thrives" to deliver complete satisfaction to our customers; our name depends on it." Perhaps they mean they "strive" rather than "thrive" to deliver complete satisfaction. In that regard they failed completely. Don't waste your time with them. FAIL.
