It was a great experience getting a haircut with Tony! I have thin hair so it's usually difficult make my hair look voluminous *and* include bangs, but Tony was able to get it done. He took his time and made sure each cut was precise, and to my liking, checking multiple times. Really appreciate the extra effort. The shampoo in the beginning was pretty nice too, very relaxing with some scalp massage. They also blow dried my hair before finishing the haircut, which not all salons do, at this price, so I'd say it's a pretty good deal, too. I went in asking for a simple trim. After the stylist suggested adding layers, I agreed, trusting her professional judgment. My hair was then straightened before I left the salon. Once I washed and styled my hair at home, I realized how poorly the cut was done. The "layers" turned out to be only two very blunt layers--my original length and another layer about 2-3 inches shorter. There is no blending at all, and the cut looks uneven and unfinished when worn naturally. I emailed the salon twice to address my concerns and received no response, which is very disappointing. Had someone followed up or offered to fix the issue, I likely wouldn't be writing this review. Unfortunately, between the quality of the haircut and the lack of customer service afterward, I cannot recommend this salon. read more

Walking through downtown Woodinville last week, I noticed Fresh Cuts, checked them out online, read some positive reviews, and decided to give them a try. I am very happy I did! Today I got one of the best haircuts ever from Michael, whose deft scissors left me with a finely sculpted head of hair. His artfulness with electric scissors and comb is something to behold! I got the worst haircut I've ever had in my life here. If you have long hair, this isn't the place. My haircut appointment was canceled from a different salon due to a sick worker. So I decided I needed a haircut that day, no matter what. I am so mad at myself that I didn't just wait to get my hair cut at my regular salon. The reviews were good, so I said how bad could it be? I just wanted a trim. I came out with the most lop-sided haircut. While I was there, it didn't look that bad. It was terrible, but I knew It couldn't be fixed, and I didn't honestly know how bad it was. I knew it was short and not the shape I wanted. I tipped and left. Then I saw how bad it indeed was when I got home. It wasn't even at all, and it made absolutely no sense. About 3+ inches were cut off. I get my hair cut every three months. There is no need for my hair to have that much cut-off. I got my hair fixed at gene juarez a month later, and she looked at my hair and asked what had happened. So I spent $100+ to have my $75 plus tip haircut fixed. I highly advise avoiding this place. I haven't had a bad haircut since middle school. I thought because it wasn't a cheap place with the pricing and location, it would be fine. I was wrong, and I hope someone else can avoid the mistake I made Update to the owner to messed up my hair: Since he's making false accusations, proof of what I spent for his haircut, as I stated, and proof of the $100+ I had to spend at gene Juarez to fix the cut the next time I was in town. I have attached pics of my payments. - I said I spent $75 plus tip, but as shown in the pic, I paid $85. I had signed up for a $60 cut, but at the register, you changed it to $75, and I didn't say anything, and I still tipped on top of that. - I said I spent $100+ to have it fixed by another salon. Also, maybe think about the interaction before you make things up. I should have had a bad attitude though. Take ownership that you can't cut long hair and don't mess up other peoples hair. read more

Amanda is an absolute PRO-- very meticulous and methodical in her approach. I have thick hair that needed quite a bit of thinning to pull off the bob I was requesting, and she did an amazing job balancing the weight of my hair with the style. The cut is not exactly like the photo but is similar. She really had to work hard as my hair is very thick and the style needed to be thinned out. I also liked her professionalism. When he wasn't digging the buzzer into my scalp he was repeatedly nicking my ear with the tips of the comb. He didn't sanitize his tools and used no neck liner.
