What a hidden gem in little 'ol Tumwater! I saw reviews for Jesseca on Yelp and was impressed by everything that clients had to say about her and her services, so I booked. She is super warm, engaging, friendly, yet professional and made me feel right at home. Her little room is so beautiful, inviting, and relaxing. Jesseca knows her stuff! She examined my skin and it's condition and then talked to me about a maintenance plan. She was not pushy and came off as being very helpful and wanting to work with me within my budget and skin care needs - refreshing! She explained what she was using, why, and how it would help. Her bedside manner was truly the best I have experienced (besides my sis who is an esthetician but lives in another state). She was technical and relaxing all at the same time. She gave the best arm and hand massage ever. I can tell she loves her job and could feel the love pouring out as she massaged and took care of my facial. Hard to describe but if you have ever had a "clinical" facial or a facial with someone who just isn't that into it - you can definitely feel the difference. I get facials to help slow the aging process but also for relaxation and Jesseca hit both of those areas exactly perfect! She even offered fuzzy warm socks to keep my feet warm. The bed was super comfortable and cozy too. Jesseca's pricing is reasonable, which is one of the biggest factors for me. I don't have a ton of discretionary money so I want value for services and you definitely get it here. Jesseca even told me about a special package she was offering, which I ended up purchasing as it was a good value. I can't wait to go back and continue with routine care. She carries Image products which feel amazing to the skin. Online booking was ridiculously easy with nice reminders leading up the appointment. Easy parking, easy to find, right off I-5 for those who may want to travel to Tumwater. Lots of services offered at different price points. If you have shopped around, you know her prices are reasonable. This is not a "super spa" with a glitzy glamorous ambiance and ridiculous prices to match - this is a simple little spa that is clean and warm and perfect for those looking to take care of yourself, either splurging or on a budget. There is nothing small town about her services, though. She is excellent at what she does. So happy I found Jesseca. I will be back and plan on being a loyal customer from here forward. I was nervous trying a new spray tanner given I had always gotten mine done at well recommended, high end places. I wasn't sure what to expect. I was greeted by this very quirky, sweet, friendly gal - Jesseca. She made me feel comfortable right away, gave me a tour of the place and then ran through the ropes. Upstairs was her space, it's very small, but it was private and comfortable. She was very knowledgeable - I was surprised because Ive had probably a dozen but she taught me new stuff which was great. The spray tan itself is phenomenal. Smells fresh, and unlike every other spray tan I've ever had, it was not sticky! I immediately saw color too which was nice. I am looking forward to see how well it swears in the Las Vegas heat for the next few days. She definitely has my business and I am looking forward to recommending her to friends and family. read more

Absolutely THE BEST in the business at a VERY reasonable rate! Jesseca is a gem in tiny Tumwater. She is so warm from the very second she greets you at the door, putting you at ease. Jesseca knows her stuff and caters your facial to your individual needs. I would NEVER consider going elsewhere at this point; even if we moved farther from here. I Adore Jesseca! She's a beautiful soul who knows her stuff! I've had a facial which was amazing and relaxing and a few spray tans. I brought my daughter in to see Jesseca for an airbrush tan, the day before Homecoming. She gave us excellent pre spray instructions, (I've been spray tanning for years elsewhere & didn't know about some of the pre tan ph balancing info that helps avoid orangeness) beautiful communication during the process. Calm, serene atmosphere. Thorough spoken & written after-care instructions. The tan is brown and even. Jesse operated with the utmost professionalism & we were totally comfortable with her. I met esthetician Jesseca Smith when she owned a shop in Seattle. Jesseca is now in her hometown Tumwater and opened Glow Skin Loft at the Second Avenue Salon and Spa. I was excited to make the half hour drive from Tacoma to Tumwater to see Jesseca because she is that good. I will continue to make this drive to receive the quality of care and attention Jesseca gives. Jessica is not only a very skilled, experienced and knowledgeable esthetician but is a very caring and warm person. Jesseca spends a lot of time with you and explains everything she is doing. She takes the time to thoroughly examine your skin and makes you feel like you are the most important person in the room. Not only will your skin feel amazing after one of Jesseca's facials, your ego will have a boost. I have also had Jesseca wax and tint my brows for years. The same attention, time and care is given and again I leave looking and feeling great. I have been to many salons in the Seattle and Tacoma area over the years and I can say without a doubt Jesseca is the best.
