I wasn't expecting much, especially since my dermatologist had told me that I was "already receiving the best skin care treatments" at her office. Wendy definitely proved her wrong. Right from the start, Wendy truly listened to my struggles with acne and she was very caring and empathic toward my situation since she has had her own skin battles in the past. She educated me on how to treat my acne problem with simple lifestyle and dietary changes. She also offered me personalized skin products that, although not cheap, are definitely affordable and less expensive than anything else I had received from dermatologists prescriptions. Within just a couple months, my skin was better than it had been since elementary school and it has only improved in the past two years with her products. Now, I barely break out and my skin has never been healthier. However, I cannot give this business 5 stars despite my incredible skin transformation. A little over a year ago, Wendy decided to hand off her older patients to a new esthetician so that she could accept more new clients. While her other estheticians are also highly trained and professional, I do not receive the same education and expertise as I did from Wendy. I would still recommend this place to anyone with stubborn acne troubles, but just be warned--if you make the decision to come here, you will be handed off as soon as your initial treatments are done and you no longer will be allowed to schedule an appointment with Wendy.

When she put a hot cloth under my shoulders I started to cry. It has been so long to feel that good. I am not sure if people are aware that facials are so much more than washing a face and slapping cream on it. A facial targets all the places where I carry my stress. And to be touched like that, gently with only the concern for my relaxation. I am not sure if you noticed, but male bachelors don't do that. A foot rub is rushed to unzipping their pants. A back rub is like making a hamburger patty. I've attached a picture of the dermaplaning shavings. I thought it was interesting. It helps the skin absorb the moisturizer. Anyway, what can I say? I found my new self care temple. God knows I will need it in the future. Life can be so very hard, and as a mom, we need more than slipper socks and kid crafts as gifts. So if you are a giver and you've got some some bucks, this is the place to treat your Oly guy or gal. Highly, HIGHLY, recommend D'Lana. She brought me a tea and chocolate for after my facial. I am in love.

Oh my goodness, where do I even start?! This woman is amazing ! She makes you feel very comfortable from the very start. I had my first ever Brazilian and I had chose to do it with her because of all her other great reviews on here - and all the great testimonies are proven to be true! I love that she is so detail orientated, she gets everything perfect! There is some pain with all waxing but it's just initial and there are some tricks to not feeling it so much after and during. This was my first time getting a facial, and I had been looking around for a relatively inexpensive place to go. I was referred to Wax Appeal by a mutual friend. I couldn't have found this place at a more convenient time. I'll be getting married in 2 weeks and have been dealing with a bad breakout. Maria was so wonderful! She examined my skin and it's condition and then talked to me about a maintenance plan. She was not pushy and came off as being very helpful and wanting to work with me within my budget and skin care needs - refreshing! She explained what she was using, why, and how it would help. Her bedside manner was truly the best I have experienced (besides my sis who is an esthetician but lives in another state). She was technical and relaxing all at the same time. She gave the best arm and hand massage ever. I can tell she loves her job and could feel the love pouring out as she massaged and took care of my facial. Hard to describe but if you have ever had a "clinical" facial or a facial with someone who just isn't that into it - you can definitely feel the difference. I get facials to help slow the aging process but also for relaxation and Jesseca hit both of those areas exactly perfect! She even offered fuzzy warm socks to keep my feet warm. This is not a "super spa" with a glitzy glamorous ambiance and ridiculous prices to match - this is a simple little spa that is clean and warm and perfect for those looking to take care of yourself, either splurging or on a budget. There is nothing small town about her services, though. She is excellent at what she does. So happy I found Jesseca. I will be back and plan on being a loyal customer from here forward. I was greeted by this very quirky, sweet, friendly gal - Jesseca. She made me feel comfortable right away, gave me a tour of the place and then ran through the ropes. Upstairs was her space, it's very small, but it was private and comfortable. She was very knowledgeable - I was surprised because Ive had probably a dozen but she taught me new stuff which was great. The spray tan itself is phenomenal. Smells fresh, and unlike every other spray tan I've ever had, it was not sticky! I immediately saw color too which was nice. I am looking forward to see how well it swears in the Las Vegas heat for the next few days. She definitely has my business and I am looking forward to recommending her to friends and family.
