If it hadn't been storming, I think it would have been nearly as fast to walk, but I valiantly fought traffic for 3/10 of a mile and came home with victuals for the family unit. It was a typical supermarket, with plenty of choices for the modern post service era shopper. I thought the bakery lacked imagination in its products, which was offset by a rambunctious deli where my dinner awaited me. Chicken soup for the wife's dicey tummy, fried chicken for me and - hey, how did that Milky Way bar get into my grocery bag?

It was super easy to pick up a nice loaf of bread, some sliced cheese, some sliced turkey and even a couple of tomatoes. So now it's not just today's lunch, but tomorrow's lunch too! Easy, healthy and less expensive. Yes, ALDI gets a lot of its low cost from the shopping trolley thing and you need to bring your own bags or reuse theirs. And yes, you need to unload your groceries onto the belt properly so that the more delicate items are scanned last. That's on you. The store was a little bit less tidy than others and there was a queue at the register when they did not open a second. So yeah, it was good not great today. We finally got the mannequins, digital product features, furniture staging! Most products are readily available and usually stocked. Some associates are nice and friendly like family. He also sells chicken, large turkey legs and other meats too. He has a wall of spices to choice from and other speciality items throughout the store. It's a small business but he sells the essentials which is all you need. No more driving to Fayetteville for speciality items when we have a store here in the area. Check him out and add some new flavors to your palate.
