New remodel completed with a layout you may be familiar with. This can be mix feelings for those who've known the layout for many years. Like pet food was at the front and now far back! We finally got the mannequins, digital product features, furniture staging! Most products are readily available and usually stocked. Some associates are nice and friendly like family. There's been safety/violence incidents and police presence needed. Parking lot security as well. Electric vehicle charging near garden and grocery pick-up end. May it not deter anyone from getting their goods. We are still a hospitable town. read more

Stopped in here this morning while working in the area. Needed charcoal and some margarit mix. Was glad to see they had my tres agave mix, my Walmart doesn't. The place is nice and clean, good lighting and stocked well. Workers were friendly. They only had self checkout which I'm not a fan of ever using. Other than that plenty of parking. They have a bank, nail salon and vision center, and a subway. read more

Worst Walmart ever. I have been a Walmart shopper for at least 40 years spanning across the country and this Walmart is by far a failing store. We have used the Walmart here in Lumberton for 5 years now and today's experience has ended my shopping in all Walmarts. I feel like they have straight out stolen from me. We picked up our groceries on Thursday and were quite busy as well as going out of town. We carried the groceries in, put away the perishables, then left. Today, Monday, while we were putting away the rest of the groceries we realized that the 30 pack of Delectable's (cat food, $32.00) is missing. We called the store right away and were told to call 1-800-walmart and they could help. They could not help. I called back to the store and asked for a manager. A lady promptly answered and identified herself as a manger but In conversation the lady let it out that she is a team leader and no managers were available. She explained that anything left in the store would already be put back in the shelf and she cannot do anything about it. The conversation ended as well as my stolen $32.00. This store has past the days of customer service and not deserving of being in Lumberton. Any way you look at it, they have the product and the money. They will never get that chance again. read more

Really.... all I wanted was for someone to check to see if you had a product before I came down their. How easy would it have been for you to get off your butt and walk over to electronics, after the existing personal in that dept. put me on eternal hold. I shopped their grocery pick up twice now.. The first time my grapes were crushed and over ripe..and they were out of stuff i ordered.. The second time i ordered a desk top calculator with my order that didnt work and they wanted me to bring it back..im disabled and my friend that picks up for me lives 45 minutes from the store and another 24 minutes to me so it would cost more than its worth. They can check them right thru the packaging but didnt bother to make sure it worked.. Then i bought a personal cd player online thru them that came with 80 batteries.. I get it, I'm in Walmart on Christmas Eve in Lumberton so already the odds are stacked against me, what I didn't bank on however is the shelves been so badly assembled, the goods towering so precariously on them that actually the entire store was literally stacked against me, against any shopper in fact. Walmart of Lumberton why are you trying to kill everyone in your store? Now, I may have stated this before, I pride myself on having a healthy attitude towards personal fitness so like a Christmas ninja I avoided all of the hundreds of physical death traps throughout the store (it should be noted I had to walk through all areas of the store to find anything. Moisturiser? No that's not in the toiletries section, no it's next to the NFL collectables and wrapping paper...of course) and made it to the cashier! Haha! Pox on you Walmart! I beat your monstrous maze! But wait! No! I have to get through the cashier gate keeper, next challenge! Find a way of waking this individual up! No way man, I win this one Walmart and sleeping Beauty opens her eyes.... The final battle. The bathroom. My god had I known what awaited me in there I would have just got diapers and gritted my teeth to Florida but I couldn't risk my life again going through this stores "Running man" / "hunger games" human challenge experiment. Look it's fine, I made it out alive and hopefully disease free....I count myself one of the lucky ones. My ONLY problem with this Walmart is the inadequate pharmacy workers. They are rude, stupid & act like they don't even want your business!! Just plain INADEQUATE. But, seems like the norm for America these days...smdh! Wish I could rate negative stars..... read more

I cannot believe how absolutely RUDE the pharmacy cashier was in this place. I was standing in check-out aisle awaiting the customer ahead of me to finish up with her "pick up". 10 minutes of discussion with the customer ...no exaggeration...and when the customer asked if she could pay for her 15 groceries right there, the cashier said yes! Now the waiting line got longer and never did this rude cashier ever call for backup. Just as the customer was leaving I stepped up to her counter and she calls customer back over to offer her something additional. All well and good if you were that lucky customer...but another 3 minutes to find the info to give this customer. ...again no call for assistance to the two other walmart employees who were walking about the pharmacy. My turn...not one word of apology for the excessive delay, no thank you as she handed over my purchase. I said absolutely nothing to this girl the entire time...went directly to management to see if that is typical behavior because I want to call corporate to complain. Horrible!!! read more

I ordered a site to store order and it took them 30 minutes to ask me what I needed and another 30 minutes to get my item!! Ridiculous!!!!

i hate the long lines they have a BUNCH of registers i never see them open.. and i hate the dirty restrooms... and i hate how when i go shopping which is late at night after my child goes to sleep when i go in and want something from the jewelery counter EVEN MANAGEMENT DONT KNOW JACK ABOUT THE JEWELERY COUNTER..... cause they close it it's 24 hours open ALL DEPARTMENTS should have someone no matter what.... read more
