If you want something a bit more than convenience store hot dogs, potato chips, or Arby's fast-food, there is a diner and an Italian restaurant not far from this Love's Travel Plaza. If you have the app on your phone, it gives you an additional ten cents off a gallon on gas. It really is a decent enough deal. I have to say that I am a fan of Love's Travel Plazas. They are usually better priced than the other gas stations and the service is friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this particular location of Love's Travel Plaza and I would definitely recommend here.

If I lived here, I'd happily shop here. It's reasonably clean and well stocked. There is plenty of parking and the staff is friendly. The prices are uncommonly low in comparison to the Denver area where I'm from. I bought quite a few groceries for 100 dollars. I enjoyed shopping here. The woman that checked me out was the only drawback. Too many neck tattoos and facial jewelry that was very unpleasant to look at.

When the owner makes a grown man break down in tears, something must be done. This business is ran with absolutrly zero regards to business ethics. The store owner sold me a defective gas can and refused to exchange it or return it an hour and a half after purchase and after gasoline leaked all over my car. With no empathy or attempt to provide me with information to contact the manufacturer, the "man" continued to attack my intelligence and belittle me. He then recruited another customer to pick up to continue the harassment and began to wave the nearly empty gas canister in my face shouting at me and humiliating me. Never in my life have I cried in public, let alone because of a situation induced by the owner and manager of a local store. He asked me to leave the store and to call the Dothan police. As a current medical student and future physician, I vow to never treat a human being the way I was this afternoon. But that isn't enough, I will stop this man from ever treating a customer this was again. Texaco has been contacted and I am going to be in touch with regional management. I was targeted, humiliated, and was not treated like a human. We deserve better than this. I urge you to avoid this prejudiced business, even if you run out of gas. Our dollars are too hard earned to spend them somewhere that doesn't see us all as human.
