A search I never had wanted to embark on, but felt it was for the best. This was how I came across Moxie Salon. Moxie Salon is a fairly new salon in the heart of the downtown Whitby core. It's easy to find with ample parking on the street or municipal parking lots. The salon is clean and the staff are all friendly. I personally recommend my stylist, Jesse. I always ask for Danny (he's super skilled with long hair) but it might be more expensive to get your hair done by him, so if you're just getting a trim you can just walk in! The cut is always great but the one thing that I don't really like would be the spacing of the place. I had to sit on a separate chair in a different "station" to process my hair (the "station" being a chair against a partition). She does layers great, but this time I changed from long layered hair to a cute bob. It's radically different but it's really good and she even taught me how to blowdry it so it puffs up. Asian places are about efficiency, and honestly, I rather my barber focus on cutting my hair than to split her attention because she wants to know how my boyfriend is doing.
