I hired Castle Keepers in Greenville SC for a deep cleaning of my 1600 sq ft home. I paid $551 for…read morethe service and pre-tipped the cleaning crew $150, totaling $700. I was told over the phone that the cleaning would take about 6 hours, so I rearranged my entire day and rescheduled other contractors to make sure the house would be available. The cleaning team did not arrive all at once. They trickled in and the last person arrived around 9:00 AM. They were finished by 10:15 AM. What was supposed to take 6 hours took only an hour and fifteen minutes. That was my first red flag. When I came home I noticed that the floors had only been vacuumed, not mopped. I had paid extra for an oven cleaning, but the front of the stainless steel oven was still dirty. They wiped around small items on the countertops instead of moving them to clean properly. There was visible dust under the couch and in other easy-to-reach areas. To their credit, the walkways looked clean and they did vacuum. But overall it felt rushed and incomplete. I reached out afterward and they did offer to come back and fix the issues, but by then I had already hired another company to do the job right. This was my first time using Castle Keepers and unfortunately it will be my last.

Given the state of my apartment the price was reasonable. I had some valuable things I left behind and they were very quick to let me know and bring them to me. A very honest company. My apartment charges for anything left unclean so I was worried about charging a cleaning company and then getting charged again if it wasn't a good job. My building was completely satisfied and I would hire them again no problem. :)

I could not hand over the keys in the conditioned she left it resulting in me having to clean after I paid her. That is unacceptable and I do not recommend.

She arrived on time with all of her cleaning supplies. We "walked" the house and she started working within 5 minutes of her arrival and steadily worked for the entire five hours. She attended to every room like she had been there before. No questions or concerns and everything from making beds to dusting the lamp bulbs was completed. Her attitude was great too.
