I wouldn't even give them 1 star if I didn't have to. Hired them to clean my late Fathers house to be photographed by the realtor. The house was empty. All they basically had to do was dust, sweep, vacuum, and mop. The price was $165 and I gave them a $20 tip, which you have to pay before they start the cleaning. So $195 for what I could have done better and I'm not a professional cleaner. They dusted ceiling fan blades but left cob webs above the blades. See pic. The quote they gave was low despite giving them the details of my apartment but all cleaning services seem to do the same around here so I took a chance on what the final quote was. Given the state of my apartment the price was reasonable. I had some valuable things I left behind and they were very quick to let me know and bring them to me. A very honest company. My apartment charges for anything left unclean so I was worried about charging a cleaning company and then getting charged again if it wasn't a good job. I would not call this service again. They were very nice gentlemen, so I gave them 2 stars for being courteous, showing up on time, and doing a good job vacuuming the carpet. We had given them an honest online estimate of what we needed cleaned, which was not excessive. We did not ask them to clean the bathrooms except for the toilets and mopping the floors, and nothing in the kitchen except to clean the floors. Two of the three upstairs bedrooms are almost completely filled with stacks of packed boxes, so there was little carpet to vacuum up there, mainly the primary bedroom and the stair landing, which was also largely covered with boxes and furniture. We did not ask them to move any furniture or vacuum any upholstered furniture. They had given us a phone estimate of $129. Once they arrived, this estimate was immediately increased to $268 with no explanation, more than double the original estimate. We really needed the house cleaned, so we paid it. They did a pretty good job of vacuuming the carpet upstairs and the carpeted stairs, and cleaning the three toilets. But downstairs, which is all hard floors, they did not clean the edges of the hard floors, leaving lots of crumbs and dirt we had to vacuum ourselves after they left. They used the same bucket of dirty water to mop all the floors in the house, apparently never once emptying or changing it, and used what appeared to be a large dust mop to mop the floor. After they left, we mopped the downstairs floors again ourselves with Swiffer wet pads, and got up tons of dirt. I will admit that the house has been neglected for a few months (we only moved here in late June), we are in our 70s and I have been temporarily handicapped from an injury since August and very limited in what I can do around the house, but my husband vacuums regularly. So the place was not filthy. The floors downstairs needed more elbow grease, a better mop, and clean mopping solution to get clean. For the limited amount of cleaning we requested, I feel like they could have done a better job for the original quoted price. read more

Needed a quick overall clean of my apartment and Destiny covered that with a decent price. It should be noted that the workers will not "move" anything, meaning they only work around items in place such as chairs, countertop appliances etc. I would guess if one wanted a "deep clean" that the price would be higher and there would be more attention to detail.
