It can be really scary finding a business on Instagram and trusting them to work on your car but when I tell you, I love the boys at Fresh Paint Auto Body, I LOVE THEM!!!!!! So backstory: Some old guy wrecked the back of my Tesla in a rear-end, lied to insurance and so they would not cover the repair. When Tesla gave me the quote to fix my car, I damn near passed out. How much?? Listen it was crickets all around because insurance was dragging their feet and who had that kinda money?! I did, but damn sure not blow it on fixing the bumper of my car. A friend recommended doing a Google search, highlighting that we've come a long way from Tesla shops being a rarity and I might get lucky finding a shop who could responsibly take care of my car. So down the rabbit hole I went....I found Fresh Paint Auto Body, they were close to home and responded quickly in answering all my questions. Oscar requested pictures, gave me an HONEST review of what he could do and invited me to drop in. He fixed my car in about a week, kept in constant contact during the process and even got my car washed when the job was done, my baby looks sooo purrtyyyy and I couldn't more happy with the job he did. Not only did he do a good job, he was honest and I highlight that because I wanted to get my car wrapped, he quoted me a price and I told him someone quoted me way cheaper. Instead of deterring me or poking holes in the other quote you know what he did.....he sat down with me, looked at the photos of the competitor and said it looks good, he gave me the right questions to asked and encouraged me to go with the other person to save money, reaffirming that it looks like they do a decent job as well! Who does that?!? An honest person that's who! The thing is once I picked up my car, I truly didn't want to get my car wrapped anywhere else! I received the referral to this shop by stopping by a my local AAA facility on Thursday. Contacted Fresh Paint that day. Went to shop and scheduled an appt. for 9 am that Friday. Repair of loose bumper, headlight and grill on Toyota Highlander. Fresh Paint ordered Original replacement parts and brackets. Oscar has been great to work with, we went to him to fix my daughter car to avoid insurance in the summer and he did a great job she has a specialty paint color from Honda and everything was matched perfectly and all replacements done with great price and perfect work. Due to my rear accident being worse within the frame itself, it took him about 2 weeks for him to gather parts, repair, install, and paint match my car. Oscar gave me an estimate to color match/respray and body work on the passenger bedside and rear door. He was a yes-man and assured me that the paint job would be quality and necessary steps like removal of the rear taillight, bumper, and plastic trim before paint. His communication was great leading up dropping off the truck. However, communication lagged afterwards. I requested pictures of the truck prepped for paint and after paint. But, he only sent me 2 pictures of the truck after base coat and clear coat. He mentioned the color match was not the best and would likely need more panels to be resprayed. I requested more photos of the final paint job to see if color matching was necessary. This is when he stopped communication with me on Saturday, with no pictures of the respray. Come Tuesday, I have a friend show up to his shop, and it turns the entire passenger side of the truck has been painted without my authorization. At this point, there is still orange peel on the panels and he assures me that they will buff/polish all the peel off. Reluctantly, I agree in the hopes of getting my truck back as soon as possible. Overall, I'd give the paint job a 7/10 and customer service/honesty a 6/10. The work is somewhat decent but there are noticeable imperfections, as a result of improper prep work and lack of craftsmanship. What is really frustrating is that he promised the work would be done one way when giving me the estimate, however he deemed removal of the bumper "not necessary" when discussing the work he produced. Since there are no detailed pictures in the other reviews, I will let the work speak for itself and readers should make their own judgement. Every shop was the same and would take my money and not do anything. But at Fresh paint auto body they kept their word and did everything in a timely manner. January 22nd 2024 I took my car to get a complete paint job and on may 21st 2024 I went to go pick up the car and it had so many imperfections there was paint chipped everywhere, orange peel, paint drips on the door jambs and fenders, some areas didn't have enough paint, and etc. so I took the car back because Oscar agreed to fix these issues and he said it will be done in two weeks and the car wasn't completed at all it sat in his shop until he got evicted and he had to move to another shop and he kept telling me the car was gonna get completed at a 100 percent level and he kept giving me dates when the car would be done but the whole time he was lying to me. He didn't do any work to the car and he would lie about progress he done to the car. So on Monday December 30th 2024 I went to go look at the "progress" he did to the car because supposedly it was in primer and I was very frustrated that I seen the car in a Worse condition of when I dropped it off on Thursday June 6th 2024. On Thursday January 2nd of 2025 I go and pick up the car as it is and his step dad offers to repaint the car which I denied because Oscar already had plenty of time to repaint the car and I was fed up with Oscar's lies. Oscar is so unprofessional I don't know how he still is in business he would tell me countless lies about when the car would be done and he gave me excuses of not being able to work on the car at his new shop because he didn't have permits and when I went to pick up the car his step dad was in the shop sanding a car. I finished paying off the paint job in April of last year and he never gave me an invoice paper copy. I'm also missing brand new headlight bezels I bought and all the new parts I bought are all sun damaged and the brand new front windshield is cover with clear coat.
