Buyer Beware! This business charged off $8500. on a CareCredit credit card that I was urged to open for an upcoming procedure which I subsequently cancelled. Not only was the amount far in excess of the cancelled procedure, but it was done without my knowledge or approval. In addition, I was advised after-the-fact that the procedure was "final sale." After my pushback, the owner wrote that she was going to file charges against me and admonished me to "behave like and adult" as no one did or said anything that I've alleged. Prior to her threat, I hadn't discussed the situation, but this behavior is not acceptable. read more

First trip for Botox ever and I said I was concerned about the area between my eyebrows. Instead I got the 20ccs distributed across my forehead. Did nothing for between my eyebrows. Went back for the follow up two weeks later and paid for yet another 20ccs which was then distributed across my brows. One of my eyebrows won't raise while the other will. My face looks uneven and the muscle is "bulky" and makes me look incredibly stupid. I am very angry I paid this much money to have uneven eyebrows and the original area I went in for twice is still untouched. Won't be back and thank God this crap wears off in three months (hopefully) so that my face can go back to normal. I got Botox by Tammy and was very unhappy with her. She only did the center of my forehead and made more wrinkles on the side of my head. I couldn't even tell if she was using the whole syringe. I called a week later cause the botox which I got 40 units wasn't working. I usually get 40 units and have no movement in a few days, I think maybe it was watered down. I called her too to ask about using the same vile with multiple clients cause I couldn't tell if she used the whole syringe. Just seemed very shady. Won't be back! read more

Mari did my botox (forehead) ,one time and it was painful for days big red swollen bruised spots. Sent her pictures and no response for over a Week, then She said it was a bad batch from Allergen and she uses Botox cosmetics and has won awards for her botox and that many clients are complaining about the same thing!?!? The assistant tried to upsell me before I sat down. I had a standard 40 units and the injector had me frown and squint then poke poke and done. I've getting Botox for more than 15 years and have never experienced that. I also never felt the full effects from it like I normally do and my forehead crease never went away. I am very sad to post this because the relationship initially started out really great. Fresh Start is hopefully one of the only companies that I will ever have to write a negative review about. I had purchased a package from them during a special event on October 11th but did not receive a consultation prior to the purchase of the package due to time constraints since I had to relieve my childcare provider (who I paid extra for so I could come to the event). I contacted the company 3 separate times, (I actually called them 3 days in a row with the first call being 16 hours after the event when I informed them that I had to cancel the charge and required a refund i.e. the charge was not authorized), as well as texting them. It wasn't the third day when I told them that I was starting to get frustrated that they were not getting back with me that they then texted me back (within 5 minutes) and told me that I would receive a call, so I know that their messages were working and that the text I had sent them was received. Looking back now it wasn't until after my credit card charge cleared that I finally received the call back (when I thought from the messages that I left that they would cancel the charge since I called and left a message each time). I was told by them during the phone call that I was not able to get my money back, because people were verbally told (AFTER I had left) that the money paid could not get refunded and that this was the final decision from the owner. I did not sign anything legally binding that said that I agreed and again I was never made aware that I could not get a refund. When they called and they told me that I would not receive a refund, I did inform them that I was going to contact the Better Business Bureau and my credit card company for unethical business practices via theft for failure to refund, and that I wasn't using this as a ultimatum, but reporting bad business practice (which I do not want anyone to have to experience from this business in the future). It wasn't until several hours later after I informed them the steps that I was taking that they called me and asked me to call them back because the board reached a decision (they did not leave me a message of what that decision was). I called them called back 2 hours later but then never heard back from them again. Because I still had purchased a different package from them that I was still using, I showed up for my appointment today and was simply told that they were cutting ways with me (which is their right as a company). I will say it's kind of disappointing that they never called me back yesterday and had me drive all the way there today instead of calling because I do have to arrange for special childcare for the appointments. Please be aware they will not put you first as the customer, and if given the opportunity they will not do the right thing, until you personally advocate for yourself. They are more concerned with their reputation than you as a customer or person. At the time that I am writing this review, they just now texted me pulling up my professional health profile (which is entirely separate from this issue, because I have not once acted in a role as a health care provider for them) saying that they are needing the info for their records and attorney correspondence, which I am blown away by. Since they are bringing up information about me as a health care provider, all I can say is in my 15 years of working in the health care field, not once have I ever experienced this type of behavior from a company, which is sad. If you have read this until the very end and you are trying to decide between this place and another company, in the long run you might be doing yourself a favor by going with that other company read more

STAY AWAY! Do not let Mari inject you! Read the other reviews.... there is no way the positive reviews are true!! I had the worst experience and come to find out I am not the only one.... Do not chance it... Stay far far away! I was referred to Mari by my long time hair stylist because they work in the same salon suites. (which she now regrets referring me and feels awful because she has other clients who had similar situations) I went to Mari one time and regret ever going. I have been getting Botox and injectables for over 15 years and never once had any issues. I went to Mari for routine botox, she injected my forehead and talked me into getting more "botox" then I originally wanted. Everything was fine right after the injection, fast forward 3 hours, my forehead was in extreme pain. Every injection site was swollen, red and painful, I couldn't even let water touch my face with out extreme pain. This lasted for a little over 3 days, my face was swollen, bruised, red and very painful. I brought this to Mari's attention and she insisted that I come back in to be seen and re-treated. I was not comfortable with coming back in to be re-treated and I let her know that. I also asked her for a refund after the full two weeks had passed because I had no results. I still had wrinkles in my forehead, which I NEVER have after less botox then what she injected. I paid $380 dollars for who knows what she injected in my face. I requested a refund from her again and she refused and called me a bully, she again insisted that I come in and be retreated. First of all, I have never once had a reaction like this and I have never once had botox not work. Mari has the worst customer service and basically blamed me, didn't take any accountability, wasn't even apologetic. Clearly her main focus is on money and not clients, she proved that when she injected fake Botox in my face and then refused to refund me ANY of my $380. She told me this had never happened to any of her clients before, fast forward a few weeks later when I was getting my hair done and the lady in the chair next to me was telling me that the same EXACT thing happened to her from Mari several months ago, not only that Mari injected filler in her cheeks that was now displaced and left her with huge bumps under her eyes and in the sides of her face. I know there must be others out there. I urge you to file a complaint with the medical board and the BBB. Links are attached at the bottom of the page. I purchased a groupon for microneedling, not only did I see little to no positive changes to my skin after 3 sessions I also did not like how unprofessional the woman with the English accent was. She kept trying to upsell me and apparently the numbing cream for the procedure is an extra $20 which is the price you would pay for an entire tub of it, why charge your customers for a whole tub if you're only using a spoon full of cream?? I noticed during the first and second session that the way she did the procedure was very inconsistent the first time she skipped my nose and the second time she did my nose. Sometimes she would microneedle for 15 min sometimes 30. On my last microneedling session the front desk computer was down so there was no way to check in, I saw that the lady who did my procedures was there because I saw her walking around and chatting with other salon workers, not once has she acknowledged or said hi to me, although I am sure that she remember me because it's my 3rd time coming, I sat there I'm I acknowledged for over an hour. I even stood by the doors so that the could see me but she would just pass me and not even make eye contact. Nevertheless, I ended up walking out the door, f**k this appointment. And I will never be coming back to this place, I don't recommend it to anyone, please find qualified and friendly people if you are doing work on your face/body. read more

Kate is my Estatician and not only is she knowledgeable and guides me to the right treatments but she's a joy to see each month during my visits. I have done a mix of micro-needling, IPL and Hydro facials. The results have been fantastic! I also see Meri for Botox every 4 months and she is wonderful as well!
