The deli and meat department are also top-notch. And there is an enormous bulk nuts and candy section where you can measure out your favorite selections and bag them. This is the place i run to when I need probiotic items and beets. I k own that's weird as other markets also have probiotics but this one has the best golden beets that are always fresh. They have a lot of whole wheat items and vegan selections as well. Since half my family members are predominately plant based I find more selections here than I often do at whole foods. Today, I want to give a shout out to the bagger, Evan. All the baggers at this location are usually good but he was exceptional. He took care in packing my items. It was like he was a Tetris ninja. Bags weren't over or under stuffed.... Everything just fit perfectly within the bags without items being squished or packed with items that they shouldn't be packed with. (Ie: meat with fruit. We stopped into pick up a couple of items that Fresh Thyme carries that I haven't been able to find elsewhere. When we entered the store on our most recent visit, several friendly employees greeted us and told us that there was a special event going on, so there were a variety of stations around the store to try samples and learn more about various products. All of the staff at the tables were very friendly and knowledgeable. We definitely found some great options that we bought on the spot, including some dips and fresh fruit. I like this location a lot because everything is always perfectly placed. During this time I year it smells really great at the front door, like cinnamon. I am a early shopper and I have never seen this location overly packed. I usually shop there for my produce because it always looks fresh. I have also seen produce that I have never seen before. I am a huge fan of Fresh Thyme, and am happy there is a location so close to home. I love their produce specials, and just this section in general because it's well-maintained and always fresh. I also love the coffee bean selection (Blueberry Crumble!). Also, new to me, is the self-checkout section. Love. The associate told me I could put my items in my bag directly in my cart; it doesn't have to be in the bag area next to the register. She said this isn't Kroger. LOL read more

Great market, but poor customer service. Had almost $300 worth of groceries on a Saturday afternoon, and no one was in lane to help check out. Yet there were 4 employees standing watching, not doing anything to offer help. We had grocery bags all over the floor at self check out. There was no offer to help and bring us over to a proper check out lane. Not sanitary. The best they did after we motioned for help was "well we can get you a big cart"...Someone should be scanning and be ready to hop on and check someone out with large orders. Love Fresh Thyme market. We eat fresh vegetables and fruit. They have a wonderful selection. I like their meat and cheese selections. Although it is not as big as the major chains they meet our needs beautifully and I don't spend a lot of time walking up and down looking for items. Great store. read more

I've recently started doing some of my grocery shopping here out of the need to make some dietary changes. First, this store is very clean and usually well stocked (unless it's right before close which is understandable). Second, I thought prices would be outrageous but I have been pleased. Some produce is even cheaper than aldi but prices on chicken can be hit or miss depending on what you can get. Probably my favorite fresh thyme location and really convenient if you are already running errands in the Eason Area. This location is just down the street from the Kroger but is in its own plaza. Parking is plentiful. This location was great and helpful employees and is clean and well stocked. They usually have great sales so watch out for the awesome deals. My favorite items are the fresh fruits and veggies, healthcare/vitamins and the meat/seafood department. The quality and freshness of the veggies and meat can't be compared BUT anything you get must be used up ASAP. Don't think that you can get anything that you will need in more than a few days. It will go bad on you quickly!! It makes me feel a little better knowing that there aren't many preservatives and that's probably why items don't last. Pro tip: they have amazing sales in their healthcare dept, twice a year you can get 25% off their already reasonable prices. Also they have been having great meat/seafood sales. Small and quaint grocery with specialty foods. The market is just off Hamilton Road in a small Plaza with plenty of parking. The staff is helpful and there is an abundance of them on this fine Wednesday. Great looking produce to fresh baked breads to a butcher shop. They have a decent wine selection too. They have gluten free to organic. This market reminds me of a smaller version of Whole foods. On Wednesdays they have double ads running so you can maximize the savings. They are reasonably priced compared to the competition. I picked up a few fresh produces for tonight's dinner at home and grabbed some freshly made guacamole...yum!! I have to tell you this place really overcharges for some items you can get at other markets for much less. Also, the past few visits the produce has gotten consistently worse. We actually bought nothing from the produce section. Spent $170 in gluten free products, meats and juices just to get up front and have to check ourselves out. They do have some good gluten free products you can't find everywhere but overall I think I'll settle for less selection elsewhere just so I can get some produce. Nice, bright, airy market. Good produce selection, and the butcher looked good. I was just popping in for something quick. Saw lots of prepared foods, a little bakery stuff, lots of supplements. Big bulk section in the middle. Big dairy section in back. Ended up with some snacks. Good selection of those. Pretty darn expensive, and the other stuff I checked out was pricey too. Pass. This was my first time in here. It's a cute little market. It wasn't as expensive as I was expecting. They have a salad bar and antipasto bar. You can also get pizza made to order. Their deli carries Boar's Head products. The staff was great. Everyone offered assistance. It reminds me of a Trader Joe's but a little bigger. Most products are made by Fresh Thyme. Took my hubby here today for the first time I've been here a few times . We found several vegan items since we've decided to go plant based we've tried several new stores we found a few goodies including donuts that are egg and dairy free some cookies and he found some coconut coffee he was excited to taste and buy. Great produce selection. I only buy my bacon from them since I can get it in bulk. The fresh pressed juice is amazing.

This is a favorite stop for my wife. She loves this store and we stop every time we are in the area. They have a HUGE selection of items throughout the store and a ton of these items are exclusive to this store. The produce is very fresh and the selection is one of the best out there. They have a huge Bulk food section and their wine section is well stocked and has something for everyone. The staff is very courteous and very attentive to its customers' needs. Fresh Thyme Farmers Market is exactly as they are named. Fresh food! The store definitely has the best quality in organic meats, seafood, produce, skincare and bulk candy. I come here at least twice a week and always pick up ingredients for my Pinterest meals throughout the week. My favorite is their seafood. I love their fresh coconut shrimp, shrimp dumplings and wild caught salmon. They also have a very good juice bar, fresh oatmeal mill, assorted olive oil dispensary , almond butters, honeys and many more. It's very healthy, affordable prices and weekly sales. They have an app I use to check their weekly sales. The sales associates are super friendly and provide phenomenal customer! I will continue to support the company and always tell others! read more

Very clean, and they rotate the stock constantly so there's always something new and I don't get expired food like I accidentally have at other stores. One thing, people keep comparing this store to Whole Foods. It is not like Whole Foods, which is owned by the Amazon corporation. They are nowhere near the size of the Amazon corporation, so obviously the selection isn't going to be as large. Fresh Thyme is simply as it states, a Farmers Market, that being said they have a decent little deli and bakery and a really nice selection of health goods like proteins, supplements, and essential oils. Organized. Easy flow from one section to another. I'm liking this new concept of local grocery stores that are aiming for the basics. None of that processed crap, aisles and aisles of cheap bagged chips and cookies. A lot of items are supporting independent businesses. No, Frito Lays is not the King Pin. I'm a sucker for prepared foods and side dishes. Got some of their shrimp and imitation crab ceviche. Great pick! The olive bar graciously housed a marinated portobello and roasted red pepper dish that was refreshing. Checkout was fast and efficient. The cashier was polite and friendly. Ugh! If this location is still open in a year, I'll be surprised. Very lean on sale-priced inventory. First day of sale...10 for $10 yogurt...and there aren't even 10 plain yogurts in the case; and we're talking no-fat, low-fat and full-fat COMBINED. Plus, they ALL expire within two day's time. One open register and five employees clustered there. (Maybe someone should be stocking shelves...just sayin') This chain should slow down on the new openings and focus on getting their product mix right. Wow.. Fresh Thyme is such a great market/grocer! The prices are so good even though many of the things are organic and at places like Whole Foods these same items are like double. Don't get me wrong. I love WF but FT knows their stuff. I absolutely love their customer service. Reminds me of chic fila in a sense where the employees go above and beyond. I worked a wine event here and everyone was so accommodating especially the manager Lynne. I adore the FT brand and I really love the fresh made pizzas. I haven't tried the saltwater taffy but noticed so many customers buying this is bags full. Even employees were buying it when they got off. A Fresh Thyme was recently built close to my apartment and now I rarely visit the big box grocery stores. The place is always clean and there are rarely carts in the parking lots. The staff are all friendly and willing to help or make suggestions. The prices especially for organic is excellent. You can choose from organic and non organic on several items throughout the store. They have a deli, salad bar, meat counter, wine and beer, bulk food and a nice sized health and beauty section. There are still some things that are a bit to pricey like toiletries and cat litter, but for the most part I shop mostly at Fresh Thyme now. read more

I love Fresh Thyme's feel and flow. Very similar to Trader Joe's or Lucky's in feel. Lots of great bread selections and a big salad bar. Great no antibiotic meats as well as more "exotic" meats available like elk, bison, etc. Nice spice selection especially if you prefer organic. Produce is best used within 1-2 days- just like TJ's. If you use natural or cruelty free makeup, they carry Andalou Naturals, Pacifica and Mineral Fusion along with a few others. Check for sales on those though. The only thing stopping it from 5 stars is the prices are consistently higher than the big box stores and you really have to search for bargains. read more

I really want to love this store, I like the idea and the sales but have been disappointed the last few times I've been in. My most recent visit I ended up having to throw out a spaghetti squash 3 days after I bought it because it was caving in and moldy on one side then I took out my boneless skinless chicken thighs while they looked fine I took them out of the bag and they were completely spoiled the day before the expiration date. The store was very apologetic and gave me my money back which I appreciated however this is not the first time that I had bought chicken from here that was spoiled. Not fun driving a bag of rank chicken back to the store to get your money. I hope someone in charge sees this review and realizes that more attention to detail may be needed to ensure the products they are selling are fresh. read more

I usually shop at the one on Sawmill Rd but we recently moved and I am definitely impressed with this store. It's a lot bigger and definitely less crowded (5pm on a Saturday). They had mini carts for the kids and "twin carts". I have 2 year old twins and I was so glad to walk in to find some! read more

Concord grapes overripe and fallen off stem at bottom of container--too old to eat; cherries in every bag I checked were shriveled and unappetizing; bought two bananas and while the first had no bruises on outside, once opened, two rotten spots inside. Muffins were dry and unappetizing as well, worse than day-old. Since I went there primarily for produce, would not return. Very disappointing. I'll be going back to Meijer's for freshest produce, thank you. Multiple kiddie carts with little parental supervision made navigating the narrow aisles difficult. read more

Nice, quaint shopping experience. Prices were fair. I am Italian and from the Youngstown , Ohio area and grew up with Italian sausage. I was a little skeptical when the clerk at the meat counter suggested the chicken Parmesan sausage. I am ALWAYS disappointed with Italian sausage made in this town- but this was a pleasant surprise! After hearing and seeing ads for this place all over, as well as having a few friends recommend it, I decided I needed to go check it out. While it isn't the closest grocery type store to my house, it's not terribly far from my job. The other day I have a small window of time from when I got off work until I had to go back for some overtime so I popped by just to check it out. First impressions. Outside, it is very well kept and clean. Definitely a nice change from what the little strip mall there used to be. Inside, it is brightly lit but not overly bright like most grocery stores. It was clean and not hard to get around. Also, smells good in there from the pizza/sandwich shop by the bakery/deli area. I had no intention of buying anything as I was just there for a few minutes to check it out. I ended up buying a few small things. All of the employees were very friendly. The gentleman in the pizza/sandwich area offered me a sample of a sandwich and then I bought some of the pizza. They have some already made but you can order what you want too. I just didn't have time to wait. The pizza was great. Honestly, tasted almost like the pizza my mom made at home growing up. Her "secret ingredient" as she said was "I don't wash my hands." I guess they don't either at fresh thyme. Haha. The place was nice. I will definitely be back when I have some time to shop. People have compared it to a combination of Whole Foods and Trader Joe's. while I haven't been to Whole Foods, I have been to Trader Joe's and I can see it.
