Was looking for a cool Boba place close to home and convinced my girl to come here even though it's a dough nut place. I asked for boba and they didn't have a clear menu and he made me a strawberry banana and didn't put any boba in it. When I asked him politely why there were no tapioca balls in my drink he said I didn't tell him that.. I told him I did but I'm sorry he didn't understand. He huffed and puffed away and still hasn't shown up with my drink and I am still waiting. Update: got my drink and it is just a nana smoothie with melted tapioca balls at the bottom. That and one doughnut was almost $5 because they charge a $0.75 fee. (Against Visa policies) read more

I'm very particular with the consistency of my donuts, as well as the glaze to donut ratio, and I gotta say, Donut Star nails it. I have passed by this place countless times my whole life and never bothered to check it out. I don't know why- maybe because it looks run-down or what, but I have been missing out for years for simple donut runs. I can't say that these are the best donuts I have ever had, but it surely is the place I can now go to for a quick fix. And not only do they sell donuts, but sandwiches, drinks, and lotto tickets too. Customer service: Pretty decent! The older woman that helped me smiled at me as soon as I walked in. There was a bit of a language barrier between her and I, but it was nothing we couldn't get past. Food: I can only speak for the donuts, and I'm really impressed. They have a wide variety from glazed to maple bars to pink sprinkles. Good size, chewiness, and perfectly glazed. And for all you apple fritter lovers out there, they serve a mean one! So good! A box of one dozen is $7.50. Mine came up to be $9 because I think the fritter was a bit more, but it's definitely worth it. Keep calm and donut on ! read more

We've been picking up donuts here every once in a while for years. They've always been delicious and cheap. We recently noticed they've added sandwiches, and figured we'd try them. Boy were we surprised! We tried the roast beef croissant and turkey sub. Both were pretty big and full of fresh, tastey veggies. The bread was amazing and tasted fresh. The meat was pretty good, too. The croissant was especially yummy; it was warm and slightly crispy. We've gone back twice in one week because they were sooo good. read more

It's super cheap first off, and the food and drink are delicious, I always get their glazed donuts and milk tea, but their drink and food list are extensive and I urge you to try the different flavor a they have! The staff are very nice and at tentative to your order. The place is small but makes you feel at home even if it isn't the nicest looking place. It's a family owned business and they're super nice here. Prices are reasonable and they take cards without having to have a limit. They serve just another any type donuts and crescent sandwiches. I would recommend to stop here. read more

There's about 8-10 donut shops between our house and this store and boy is it worth the small drive from Upland to this place. 1) The cake donuts here are amazing and crunchy like they've been deep fried. 2) Open 24 hours 3) My personal favorite jalapeno ham and cheese crossaint is always available when my wife has the midnight munchies. read more

The worst customer service EVER!!! My son recently purchased a couple of donuts for me one afternoon, unfortunately they were the incorrect type. I went in hoping to get the correct ones, I knew it was a long shot to return donuts but I gave it a try. When I went in to explain what happened the man in the store who works in the afternoon (he wears a bluetooth in his ear) went complete PSYCHO on me. I handed him the bag and told him what happened and I was hoping to get the right donuts, I also explained the donuts were never touched. He goes NUTS, he grabs the bag from my hand and SLAMS the bag into the trash with all his might. My jaw drops, I could not believe his reaction. He yells that he can't sell those and curses at me before he reluctantly throws the donuts I wanted at me. I was like "Wow, why you mad bro". before walking out. Recently this place had a change in ownership and with that came new items to the menu namely the sandwiches. I went in not expecting much but I was blown away with the quality and deliciousness of the sandwiches. I have had a turkey sandwich on both the bread and croissant. From what I can tell the bread was baked there at the shop, the turkey was of high quality, not the cheap stuff you get at subway. The vegetables that were placed on the sandwich were also of high quality, bell peppers, lettuce, jalapenos, and white pickles. Same thing goes for the croissant, it was fresh baked and was rather large. I am a big guy and three quarters of it filled me up. The donuts and muffins are also very good, the recipes seem to have stayed the same in the change, which means they are all very good as this place has been her for 20+ years. Oh yeah the Cherry Coke here is the best that I have ever tasted anywhere, I don't know what it is, but its just the best. read more

wasn't Happy with the service today went in asking for a breakfast croissant and the manger was helping me out and she send me with a burnt croissant. when I got to work I was so upset. like really how can she give a customer and send them on there way with a BURNT croissant.
