Yes that's how they dealt with a customer complaint. As a result I refuse to return to burger king, here or anywhere else. I reached out to their corporate office and no response (again I don't want free or replacement food, as I don't want to eat there, but this is no way to run a business and I was hoping that I could prevent someone else from having the same experience). It's really too bad, they've only been open for a little over a month as I write this review and they're already severely tanking in customer service!
