Looking for a local barber shop to get the teenager his haircut. We saw this place close by and took a look inside. It was busy but not in an overwhelming way. Thankfully we didn't have to wait long beside someone was ready. I really like how they take their time with each individual customer. The place was a good mix of layback attitude with a serious passion for their craft. I had the opportunity to talk to the owner and he was a really nice guy (very easy going and he has a great personality). We will definitely be back for his next cut. If Kendall had a sweet spot this would be it since my wife loved my cut!!! My cut came out on point and gave me an edge for brownie points with the misses. Who can argue with that? I always get my haircut from Ivan but any of the barbers there are good, welcoming and are always willing to help you. They keep the place clean. All I can say is this place is a family friendly establishment full of talent. I stumbled across this location because I go to the gym next door and I met the owner (Fabian ) when I walked in with my 2 boys. The first question I asked was do you have any availability or 3 walk-ins ? And the owner replied after he greeted me with such hospitality, yes we can take you as soon as a chair opens up. The second question I ask was do you guys cut kids hair (due to the fact I have two reckless monsters for boys and can't sit still) and Fabian replied of course. The owner noticed my youngest son was not sitting still and as soon as he finished with his client sat my boy down and began to cut his hair. Mind you my youngest son is 2 years old and wants to touch everything, the owner was extremely professional and gave him an phenomenal haircut then proceeded with my oldest son and then myself . Every haircut was perfect and detailed, least to say it's hard to find a barbershop that doesn't play explicit music and the language that comes out of the staffs mouth is just as bad, this place was professional and they took their craft serious. All the barbers cut fast and you are usually in and out in 30 min. 4 TVs so you can catch the game while you get a cut; Plus there is an ATM inside. Good cut by Juan. Came in from having a bad haircut elsewhere. I asked someone outside for guidance on how to get in queue with someone who cuts well. I asked for Fabian or Sway based off reviews. It turns out the man I was talking to was Fabian. He was too backed up for a cut but told me he'd put me with someone who would take care of me. Ten minutes later, Juan was starting my cut. I showed him a picture of one of my favorite cuts in the past and explained to him why I didn't like my current cut (in Spanish). He understood and confirmed he knew what direction to go with. Fading arc around the ears, light scissor cut to keep my faux hawk up top. The man was meticulous with his movements and attention to detail. No stupid chit chat. Just solid work. I liked the cut and, I asked him to do my beard. Overall great work. Docked a star because I wasn't handed a mirror to review and when I got home, I noticed some symmetry issues but nothing anyone else will likely notice. read more
