To call Jaxon Maximus a men's salon is a disservice to it. It is way more and way better!! Simply put, this is the most unique, exceptional, and extraordinary men's destination in the country. Period. Full stop. I know this sounds like hyperbole but in this case the hype is real. Read the rest of the reviews and they will rave about the salon services -- as they should. The master barbers and hair stylists at Jaxson are professional, experienced and deliver the five-star service you would expect from a space this beautiful. The design is a combination of old-world London men's club, California mega-mansion man cave, and Brooklyn tailor shop. Believe me -- it works. I like ambiance and this place has it in spades. No one walks in here and doesn't think they're not in a place for men. The shame of it all is that this place listed under Men's Salons or Barber Shop because while it certainly it is that it's also a top shelf bespoke clothing store and full-service tailor shop. It would almost certainly earn five stars under those categories. First, I brought my own clothing to be tailored. The work was done fast and to perfection!! The tailor shop is right there for all to see. It's almost a museum exhibit to the good ole fashioned men's tailor shop. This isn't some seamstress with a sewing machine tucked into the corner of some dry-cleaning spot. These are real tailors, men and women, who have the space, equipment and experience to do the kind of tailoring that you can't find anymore. Second, the bespoke custom clothing sold here is no joke. This is the finest fabrics from the best mills truly custom tailored. I ordered a suit and a variety of shirts is different styles. I was half expecting the stuff you get at places like SuitSupply or Indochino. Boy, was I surprised!! I own Kiton, Brioni, Zegna and Canali. I also own custom made suits from several places including the "tailor to the presidents" in Brooklyn. So I know quality when I see (and feel) it. The shirts and the suits are better than anything I've custom ordered. They rival the clothing I've purchased in Saville Row in London and Rue Honoré in Paris (humble brag, I know). In other words, this is the best men's custom clothier in South Florida hands down. Christian (the owner) and Alex deliver the exceptional service and fitting that befits the quality of the clothing. These guys know their stuff and they look the part. These guys don't just talk the talk - they walk the walk. Best alterations in Miami are done here by Adriana (or spelled Adrianna) I've gone to other alterations shops and she does the best high quality work and fast turn around time. Worth every penny and compared to Miami the prices are reasonable. If I were able to save an extra couple bucks going elsewhere I wouldn't because I've done that mistake and the result was not good and I ended up going back here for her to fix it for me. Lesson learned not every seamstress is highly trained. Most in fact are sloppy. Adriana has attention to detail and a lifetime of experience. She's truly a professional. I had probably the worst haircut experience of my life today at Jaxson Maximus. The staff was extremely unhelpful and borderline rude. I had two appointments booked for 2pm and the second did not start until 3pm, rendering us late to our 4pm rehearsal for our wedding. Oh and we asked for a vodka soda with lime and we got a glass of vodka with lemon (and lemon seeds). I would go anywhere else in this world before going back to this establishment. read more

I'm not sure if you're understanding. THE ISSUE HERE IS THIS WAS A TERRIBLE HAIRCUT and the stylist had an attitude . I did not go with him to the chair for the consult because he's 14, and he does what he wants with his hair. All I simply expressed to the so called "stylist", Michelle, is that he was having the signature service, which we pre-booked in advance online (she obviously didn't feel like doing this-and with that attitude we ourselves went with a regular cut). Please, if you are the owner and you know hair, look at the after picture and tell me this is a quality $65 cut. This is right outside your establishment right after our experience. Can you see how severely she thinned out his hair? I don't think he asked for that. Or how about how uneven it is? Or check out the top of his head and all those little hairs out there hanging out, hiii. Maybe he asked for that? Yeah, maybe it's because I should have been at the consult? It has nothing to do with how much was cut. His hair was butchered to the point that his natural texture still hasn't recovered. Am I suppose to be grateful that this was comped? I bought a custom sports jacket and a few dress shirts from them earlier this year. During all that time have been losing a significant amount of weight which made the fit too big. Brought it in to the Master Tailor, Jose Rosero and he did PHENOMENAL work on tailoring my sports jacket and shirts to my body. Mind you, it was not a simple task that was in front of him; he had to make significant adjustments and cuts under my arms, the arm length, and shoulders. He exceeded my expectations and I cannot recommend him enough as a couturier and Jaxson Maximus for your custom clothing. They are worth every penny IMO. read more

I discovered Jaxson Maximus through a friend of mine who referred me to Christian. I placed an order for a new suit, sport jacket outfit with jeans and a few shirts. Christian was excellent in making the experience simple and fun! He walked me through all the fabric choices and help me select fabrics to have my garments made. He took all the necessary measurements and had the pattern cut by hand by his cutter which is really important because I am a very tough fit. After the garments were made, he called me to do a Tryon fitting at the Jaxson Maximus showroom in Brickell which was was super cool. They have a high-end barbershop experience, scotch and whiskey bar, on site tailor shop, and other services dedicated to men. This is a great lifestyle brand and concept. Christian and team really put a lot of thought into it. I'm glad I discovered them. My suits, sport jackets and jeans I bought their fit fantastic. I get countless compliments on them. As soon as I heard that my employer was gearing up for us to go back into our physical office, I knew I had some pants that had to be seriously alterations and tailored. Who hasn't had this problem in some way, shape or form during COVID? There were even some pants I got during Christmas in 2019 that hadn't be worn but needed alterations! Enter Jaxson Maximus, a place I have frequently passed by on Brickell Bay Drive and heard of via LinkedIn but never stepped into before. I brought in four pairs of pants to them and originally thought they'd be a lost cause. Donna, their tailor, assured me otherwise. After trying everything on, she took my measurements, noted my preferences and gave me my estimate. Turn around time was 10 days but everything was done within a week. The results are fantastic! Donna and her team did amazing work with them! All four pairs I took in felt and looked like better fitting, newer pants. What made this made this experience even better? I was checked out of the store by none other than the owner himself, Christian Boehm. I love it when business owners don't see themselves as "above" certain tasks and make it clear that the customer experience comes first. After paying with Christian, he showed me around the rest of the salon/store and gave me a run down on all of their services. This includes but isn't limited to a men's grooming salon with complementary bar, custom clothing, and facials. They try to understand exactly what you want and provide very good advice as well when they think you are doing too much or too little alterations, or even when alteration isn't needed! To say Jaxson Maximus is unprofessional is being nice. Made 2 back to back appointments with a "Master" Stylist for 12N today. Booked it over a week ago. I was going there for the first time so was looking forward to it based on reviews. I got there at 1155am....checked in and was told the person cutting my hair was on the way. Was offered a drink, which is part of the "experience"...at 12:15 I asked if they knew when she would be getting in, and they said "she's on the way". At 1225, they called her...SHE'S IN AUSTIN, TX! oops...no notification, no email during the week, no manager came over...no nothing..who cares I drove over 1/2 hour and paid for parking...not the point of course... It was like "oh well"....... now have to look for a "legitimate" place for a great haircut. read more

I've had haircuts, beard trims, and some custom masks made for my young daughter at Jaxson Maximus. Their customer service is on point. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. Your entire experience from start to finish is very thought out. To start, a beverage including a quality spirt, if you so choose. Signature scents while getting your hair shampooed or beard shaven, even the cold or warm towels are perfectly scented. Not happy with their usage of master vs non master. Ive gotten a great haircut here and also a terrible one. Master should not mean the tenure of the stylist at the shop but the quality of their cut. It was clear the master hairstylist was new with tools or untrained formally. Nothing in the cut was blended properly. Slight update. Asked the manager for a complimentary cut to fix my haircut with a different stylist who knows how to blend hair. They denied the request. VERY DISSATISFIED. I recently found this amazing man cave type place. I'm normally not the type to go to places like this. But it was well worth it! It has everything you need from Cafecito, to whiskey as drink choices . You can get a fresh cut, shave , pedicure, and play a game of pool! My trip to the Zen room was needed and relaxing! They did warm paraffin on my hands, hot towels on my forearms with some massage. I was close to passing out. I got a hot shave, and the mens waxing (nose, ear, eye brows). The manager prepared me an espresso and took me for a tour of their shop including the custom clothes and salon offerings while Ricky prepared for my experience. My usual Brickell salon sadly closed after Covid started. I decided to try Jaxson Maximus as they are next to my apartment building and their shop looks really good. So much thought has gone into their unique concept and it was such a pleasant and efficient experience from start to finish, from Madison at the front desk, Jorge for an eyebrow trim and Rod for a long awaited haircut, not to mention Christian the owner taking time to introduce himself. Rod was friendly and listened throughout my consultation and took great care with my cut...I will definitely return to Rod for future haircuts. I even ordered a pair of shoes and next stop will be their tailoress for alterations. I've been in the professional hair care industry for most of my working life, including owning salons, and Jaxson Maximus is up there with the best.
