The blonde woman behind the counter didn't greet me or look at me the entire time I stood in front of her. She barked, "Have you ever been here before?", snatched my resume, and immediately started marking criticisms of my work all over the page! She then asked me if I had transportation, to which I replied, "yes". Then when I asked her if they knew of any job vacancies close to my house so I could have the option to walk to work since I share a vehicle with my husband, she scoffed, "You told me you have reliable transportation, if you share with your husband you don't, and that's a problem". She finally told me, "We are a very busy agency and I don't have a lot of time to spend here today, you should go to Kelly's staffing instead where you might have better luck." I thought to myself, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?". Too bad she marked all over my resume making me unable to put it to better use somewhere else. I was under the impression employment agencies existed to HELP you find employment. Through my experience I learned that this company in not only disrespectful and unfriendly, but they choose to discriminate against people who share or don't own a car. Please don't go to this place if you have lost your job and are looking for someone to care about you and the community. That receptionist was down right cruel and unprofessional - something is very wrong over there. How hard is it to take a moment and think about the circumstances people are faced with and to actually make yourself useful by giving them the assistance you advertise instead of playing like you work for Donald Trump? read more
