When I started I was…read moreplaying on an ordinary box tv, around 27 inch, and I used to litterally sit on the floor and rest my feet on the top while I was playing. It works, trust me, it is just really lazy! After a couple of months I decided to invest in a 'u-bute' 42inch LCD with picture in picture and all of the trimmings......I still sat on the floor and rested my feet on it, well, on the base! I don't think I would be treating my tele like that if it was one of the pretty screens from Dennis White though! Dennis White is as close to 'top end' that we get in the Hi-Tech super metropolis that is Adelaide. They are very selective of brands they stock and charge accordingly. Apparently they are cheap for the products they stock, but they could double what they had on the sticker price and I would still have no idea! Word to the wise though, if you are looking to invest in one of their all consuming Hi-Fi systems make sure you don't live in a block of appartments, unless you have some damn understanding neighbours, because those things really crank out the Kenny G!

I will share my horror stories in a hope people are warned! First started, when I bought a…read moreNAD375BEE from Denis and asked for a good price. I was given a great price and made a point of asking if unit was ex-display, ex demo etc. Was assured!! it was 'brand new'. Was happy, only to find when I got home and un-packed it, the Amp had clearly been opened and badly re-packed. I was worried and soon had good reason. I immediately started hearing 'crackling' through my speakers every time I adjusted the volume. It spent six weeks being fixed under warranty, with a faulty volume control motor. I believe this was a return and was simply re-sold for that 'great price', knowing it to be faulty! SOLD amp after that and lost money. NAD375BEE is a good Amp, just don't get it from this guy!!! Giving the benefit of the doubt, I purchased a Rega RP40 Turntable, some time later and made a point at asking once again if this item was 'brand new, in sealed box'. When item arrived, the box was not sealed, without any tape at all, it just opened, which I find hard to believe would have been sent like that from England! I opened the box and immediately noticed broken foam packaging and lots of foam pieces in box. I unpacked it, then to find it had indeed been opened and found the counterweight outside of its plastic bag and just sitting loosely inside the turntable. This is quite heavy and was not in its secure foam insert and the plastic bag it was supposed to be sitting in was pushed into the foam recess where the counterweight was supposed to sit at the side of the packaging. This counterweight was just left to sit and slide around on the face of the turntable platter causing scratches. I took the turntable to Denis White and he and one of his staff, immediately became defensive, rude, extremely aggressive, swearing and would not discuss it, after I mentioned the NAD story and this is now the second time, this has conveniently happened. This guy is a shonk and has no integrity. He is rude, aggressive, belligerent and is not to be trusted, especially if you want a good price!!! I have spent $30,000 on a Hi-Fi System and still buying! BUT NOT FROM DENIS WHITE!!!!!!

You'll never have to turn the collar of a business shirt again - all your favourite items can make their way straight back into rotation and avoid the obligatory 3 months in purgatory as you 'get around' to ironing. I…read morewon't go into the story of how my housemate found out about his services (they shared a taxi once when she was drunk) but anyhow we gave him a call to come out and have a look at a couple of dodgy looking spots on our living room floor just after we had moved into our rental property. He came in with all the gear but after telling us the marks on the floor were slight burns and would not come out, he didn't even charge us a consultation fee. He also gave us a complimentary bottle of carpet cleaning spray and instructions of how to use it to keep our carpets spick and span. We are looking to move out of our rental property soon and will definitely be calling him for our carpet cleaning needs before the real estate agents caste their beady eyes on them.
