I am not the best patient being adverse to taking medication but Dr. Matas spent a lot of time with me explaining why taking 2 different medications was vital to my health, especially after having had cancer (stage3) and some of my cardiac problems were due to the chemotherapy (that saved my life). The hospital has free parking, rare these days. We were processed in quickly and testing was completed quickly, blood work, CT scan, etc. There are an amazing 52 beds in the E.R., with overflow room. I was impressed. Too bad there isn't an overnight cafeteria or snack bar. The one they have closed at 6pm, and we were left with vending machines.

If anyone is looking at these reviews for a neurosurgeon, look no more, neurosurgery is in this doctor's DNA. He can do it blindfolded, believe me! His father was also a surgeon.
