It was ok, one of the girls who cut one of my sons hair did just an ok job but kept telling us she needed to be home or her husband would be mad. It was weird. My little boy said he wanted his hair cut like Maverick in Top Gun because it's his favorite movie , she looked really annoyed , and we showed her a picture . She said she didn't like Tom Cruise and definitely wouldn't see Top Gun. . Just a bizarre experience , but maybe we caught her on a off day. I'm just tired of paying a lot of money to people who don't want to work , and feel entitled to treat customers terrible. The other girl did a just ok job as well. Been here a few times and the ladies are excellent. However, an older man took me this time and did a horrible job with my hair. Long on top, short on the side. It should have been a sign when he spent ten minutes on his phone while I sat in the chair. I asked him to take it all the way down to a 1, but he managed to cut my hair unevenly. Strip mall location with easy parking and like the name says friendly barbers. It's a mixed lot of customers waiting but I'd guess this is considered a family barbershop. Siv has given me a great fade / clipper cut and shave. Prices are fair and the facility is super clean. They take reservations and it's probably advisable if you have a preferred barber but it's also walk in friendly. read more

Vanessa was absolutely terrible. To say I'm disappointed in my hair cut would be an understatement. I have a Mohawk with a hard line. My hair was grown out alittle past an inch and I wanted it cut to half inch. HALF INCH! she put gel in my hair to part the line that was already very distinguished and 30 minutes one side is finally done and she gives me the mirror (cause your facing outside) and I swear I thought I was bald. She put the 1/2" guard on instead of listening to me saying I want half Inch length. So I went from expecting 1/2" in length to 1/18 in length. Wtf. I called her out and told her the length is not a half inch. But my bad she's so good at what she does she has Steve wynn ask her to run his shop. She was way way too concerned with telling "impressive" stories of how cool she is she buzzed the side of my head raw. I can still feel the burning of the buzzer and it's been a full day. To top it off she cut the back of my neck twice. My right side is not even close to being even with my left. This whole process took an hour and a half. Are you kidding me? Then she took a small Chunck off the line and blamed in on the last stylist. Really? Are you kidding me? You know? Just because you gay, and a gay client comes in....DOSENT MAKE You FRIENDS! Or "tight". I will never go back here, nor will anyone I meet. Do yourself a favor, go to sports clip or see a different stylist here. Vanessa? To keep future clients, talk about yourself and your law suites and you lies alittle less and focus on the cut. Your confidence is way to high for what your able to preform. Maybe work on your skill as well. Shaving the sides of a persons head should never take 90minutes. read more

When I called to schedule my bi-monthly haircut I was crushed to hear that my barber was not there any longer! Thankfully I had her cell and was able to call and see what what up. She told me that she was going to work at another barber shop but would not be ready for another two weeks. SOOOoooOOoO I waited and waited and my hair grew and grew. Finally today I was able to see her to get some hairs cut. The shop is located just north of the Lee's Liquor on Sunridge Heights and Eastern in the same commercial center. The shop is spacious and I really liked the dark wood and the chairs were comfortable as I read from the assortment of magazines. I learned that Chat and her co worker at the other place have gone into business for themselves. Very brave given these economic times but these ladies are awesome and each have loyal customers (including myself) that will follow them. A basic haircut runs about $16 and for the ladies they offer stuff but I am not qualified to speak about any of that. read more

Long overdue review here. I've been coming to see Rose at Friendly Barbers for many years now. She is always caring and professional in every way, oh and friendly too. Overall a very nice and comfortable place to get your haircut or any other grooming needs can be performed here. The decor is very warm and inviting, plenty of magazines and a TV if you have to wait for the stylist of your choice, but as long as you have an appointment you'll most likely never even have to touch a magazine. I rate Friendly Barbers 5 Stars, it's the best place in Henderson and probably Las Vegas too. read more

I went in for a hot towel shave, Eddie was my barber. Was the best shave of my life! They truly live up to their name, very friendly and they know their stuff it was the best 25 bucks spent so far this year. The only reason I have a 4 star is because one lady, Denise, is terrible. She has terrible customer service and acts like she's being inconvenienced. I asked her to texturize my son's hair more on top. Her response, "I already did, he just had too much hair." Well then it's not saying much about her skills in cutting hair because it still looked thick on top. Besides, why would she respond in that manner to a customer? I came into town for a long weekend vacation. I needed a haircut, and also wanted a real hot lather shave, as a sort of "Man-spa" experience. The sign out front said Walk-Ins welcome, however, I greater Las Vegas area that could mean s 3 to 4 hour wait. There were 6 chairs, with a very diverse group of barbers. I was assured by one of the ladies that it wouldn't be long, and that I didn't need to sign in. When my turn came up (within 5 min on a Saturday mid-day!), a gentleman named Rod welcomed me to his chair. He was nicely dressed, and his beard was meticulously groomed, both very positive signs. I told him what I wanted, and he went to work. The hair cut and shave were both outstanding. Rod is a very skilled barber, who made the experience even better by explaining everything he was doing beforehand. I also appreciated the conversation, as we chatted about the news of the day, a little bit of politics, the weather, and shaving technology. When he has through, he handed me his card, so I can be sure to make an appointment with him, which I intend to do every time I come for a visit to Las Vegas. read more
