I genuinely don't write one star reviews because typically those…read moreplaces get sorted out, but yesterday 06/16/26, Cannondale and Team Dream dropped the bike of my dreams. I was able to secure the new teamdream and cannondale caad14 in a size 56 from Mack's cycle shop in Miami. Darien was a super sweetheart on the phone so no love lost there, so I put down my deposit and was called this morning to let me know the bike is no longer going to be sold, but rather it's going to be used as part of a fundraiser for "Best Buddies." Additionally, it's now listed as DOUBLE the price on their website. So it's really nuts to think that anyone in their good mind would pay $5k for an aluminum frameset. I think donating the proceeds is all good and well, but it really left a bad taste in my mouth to work with an authorized dealer who sold me a VERY limited product, only to take it back the next day. I've called all the shops listed for this bike around the country after that and they are sold out. I'm truly stunned by this behavior and I hope that whatever good intention y'all had is met with karma on your end.

(received charge backs from both from my Bank). Both UBC and Erick's took my $600 deposit (UBC) and 3K+ (Erik's).... yet neither merchant had the Specialized Roubaix SL8 I ordered and paid for in their inventory. After calls and calls to follow up on the status, both UBC and Erik's dodged/deflected/gaslit me. Why? I have inroads with the FTC. My theory is that both Erik's and UBC potentially used my payment (amongst other consumers) as interest free loans to boost/float their short-term capital/liquidity to pay off their creditors b/c of their razor thin margins. This is illegal per FTC's rules and regs. This made me sick to my stomach. Good news: Hit the batch - secured my Roubaix, it's now in my hands. THANK YOU MACK. Honesty and integrity - highly recommend. Hell of a bike can't wait to uplevel from my hybrid (14 mph on 20 mi ride to 16 mph) LFG!

When he called me to let me know the bikes were ready he said one bike was $75 and the other was $30. However, when I went to pick them up I was charged an additional service and wash $40 for one of the bicycles that wasn't mentioned ahead of time. The employee had even told me ahead of time that if it was more than $100 to just get a new bike. I would have preferred they were more transparent with the cost, as I asked several times. I thought the first employee was extremely nice and helpful, I wish I could recommend the place but I'm feeling a little off put by hidden costs.

On my second visit, I brought in my wife's bike which had a major issue with the seat post that had gotten stuck in the hole and there was no way I could raise the seat for my wife to enjoy the bike. The owner analyzed the issue and at first I thought he would not be able to fix it. He asked if I could leave the bike with him (it was a Saturday) and he would try to fix it, although he mentioned he had a bad back so it may take him some time. He said that if he could fix it he would call me on Sunday. I took my claim ticket and was on my way hoping and praying that he can fix it since the seat post was really, really stuck. On Sunday as I was running around doing errands, I received a call from his wife letting me the bike had been fixed. I was in total shock since several people told me that the problem might not be able to get fixed. I arrived to the store and the bike looked amazing with the new seat post and seat I had bought on Amazon which he was able to replace the old one with. I came to the store to tighten the fixed cog and lockring for my bike because I did not have the…read moretools. The cost was $25, which is fine, but the service was questionable and sketchy. I requested that all that was needed was to use a Chain Wip to tight the cog First, then a Lockring wrench to tighten the ring Second. Instead of listening, the mechanic immediately took a screw driver and hammer to hit on the lockring without even tightening the fix cog first, then told me the threading was broken and I needed to replace it. Lesson learned, next time I will ask if I can pay to use tools myself. I am never coming back to this shop again.
