Since moving here there have been all kinds of crazy top-tier drops: Cantillon, rarer 3F's, Fidens, Trillium, in addition to ongoing deliveries of highly rated beers (you're practically guaranteed to find a handful of beers rated 4.2+ on Untappd any time you walk in here). There's a good mix of local and non-local beers as well. I find it can be detrimental to focus TOO much on local beer. I also think they've nailed the size, both in terms of inventory and physical space, because product seems to move at an ideal pace. I've rarely come across too-old beer, which happens quite often in many beer shops. This is THE place to get beer in the area.

The staff are always really nice and tend to know some of the "regulars". At least, I've heard them address people by name at times while I've been there, so I'm guessing they must be frequent customers. Regardless, I always feel welcome at this liquor store, whereas I've felt judged and "stared down" at other locations in the past. I've never found any of that uncomfortableness here, though! They may not have the largest selection of liquor, but they have more than just the basics and it's super easy to pop in and out on a whim. Parking isn't usually as issue, but if you hit it at a busy time, there's a chance you might have to part in the adjacent lot. It's happened to me before, but it's certainly not the end of the world. They have a solid variety of bourbons, and they stock all of my favorite vodkas, so I'm a fan.

I stopped in before Yelp Supper Club -- held at an eatery in the same shopping center -- last night to see if they had any cool sours on hand. At this point in my beer-drinking life I know I need to have my Untappd app out when making purchases because I've tried so many varieties. They didn't seem annoyed that I was analyzing each bottle before making any decisions. In fact, both guys working were super friendly, not invasive of my space, and offered great recommendations. I purchased a six-pack of a local raspberry sour to share, as well as a bottle from American Solera. Looking forward to both! Their selection is curated well and they also offer growler fills. Knowing its a smaller but adequately stocked store, i popped in right before xmas and was going to buy a big bottle of Rum Chata but the cashier told me it was the same price to buy the special Christmas pack that came with free mugs. So free mugs it was!! Now i came back today to get Blanton's Bourbon and they greeted me when i entered and offered me help right away. Apparently the bourbon doesn't come in often so it was on special display. The sales person also told me if i buy two half size bottles, its $4 cheaper and the same volume of bourbon as the large.
