15 Acres of Spooky on Halloween! 3 haunted houses for the ticket price plus Monster Selfie Museum & The Jack O Lantern halls. There are a bunch of add ons: 3 jumps x 1 ticket off the Lexor Jump ( a free fall off a tower) Axe throwing 10 throws x 1 ticket Nightmare challenge- Fridays only. Any combo of some fear factor type stuff- eat something , drink something, do something. No thanks but I might pay the $5 to watch next time. If you complete it without throwing up, you get the money you paid back. We only went through the haunts and MSM/ JLH 1st: Lexor Manor : The first haunted house is set up using the upstairs and down stairs of the original house of Jeremiah Lexor. Waiting in line was no big deal, I wouldn't pay for the fast pass. There are multiple actors that come around decked out and in character interacting with the crowd. The make up & costumes were really great. Also there is a giant black and white projection of a video showing the people as they are scared , jumping, screaming and even running away inside. Watching it while you're waiting is fun. This place has a lot of history I didn't know about beforehand. Of course inside the Manor I was trying to look at everything on the walls and stuff . I didn't get frightened, but we did get jump scared a few times for being distracted and laughed so hard. It was great. 2nd: Carnival Outcasts Was probably the most fun and thrilling vs scary or otherwise. Plenty of clowns and jumps scares, fun & creepy sounds. Avoid this one if you dont want to be touched. They don't grab you just get real close might brush against your ankles or shoulder with something. I actually scared one of the actors myself and my friend fell out laughing; it came back to me and said " that wasnt funny" in the best and creepiest voice they could do to stay in character, which of course made us laugh more and her "twin" character also broke character to laugh. The walking path is wooden & goes up and down so beware. On the way out they chased her with the chainsaw and she loved it. The Lexor Jump is somewhere off the side of this attraction or above it. 3. Backwoods of Rage: IMO was the best one that had us more involved and engaged, feeling "lost" in the moment than the others did. The theme and overal demeanor of the characters was less playful scary & more sinister than the others. The actors never broke no matter what we said back. Which was good for us because we got our kicks in the first two. There is a lot less light in this one which adds to the fear factor for some. It was eerie walking through the part that is close to the woods but the guy in the front of our group here, kept screaming terrified every time someone jumped out at him. They knew who to get jaja. Well, so we didn't really get any scares until we got caught up in the fog and separated from the group..then the Cucuy found us. They did a really great job on this set with all of the turns and obstacles and placements of the actors. It was set up farther back on the property in the woods in what looks like a slaughter house for pigs. It had a lot of fog machines at one point and multiple false exits; it limited all ability to see so if you have breathing issues beware of getting disoriented in there. The bit of fear I felt was at the end in whatever kind of exit that was because I'm claustrophobic...I did run that bit out jajaja. I wont spoil it for you with the details. * Go through the Museum and Jack O Lantern halls last as there are no lines. They converted old shipping containers to make this. A different music is playing inside here than what you hear in the park and there is much to see. We danced around inside while checking things out. Spent another 20-30 minutes here inspecting everything. * Unless you have a big group or plan to hang about, you'd probably get through everything and be ready to leave in about 2 hours. *The music is loud and epic throughout the screampark. There is a gift shop/stand that also offers water & soda *Bathrooms are portapotties so make sure you bring hand sanitizer at least. *Parking is card only; $10; guided in the grass so be prepared to walk to the entrance. I've heard they change a lot of it every year, so I would definitely go again. read more

Definitely a fun experience- we went on a Saturday and it was packed, but the lines moved pretty well. The scares were well placed and I really loved the monster selfie museum and inflatables. Probably not for everyone but looking for a fun spooky season night, definitely check it out. All of the staff were kind and helpful! read more

I absolutely LOVE coming here and have had nothing but positive and fun experiences. Been coming here for three years and plans to make this an annual thing. If anyone ever considers getting the VIP Experence, I would encourage them to get the VIP Experence. The ONLY problem I have is with the backwoods area, they just use too much fog in there and I've personally gotten lost in it and have had the actor help me out of there. read more

Love this place. It changes every year and the cast do an amazingly creepy job. This attraction improves every year and adds more entertainment. The actors engage the crowd to make the wait more bearable. While the lines can get long at first, once you make it through this the first attraction it moves fairly quickly. Be prepared to run and scream! Pros: good family fun and a great way to burn off dinner. Engaging cast. Clean facility. Great Halloween value. New content every year. Cons: bright strobes. I was thoroughly terrified, absolutely to the bone. The scare actors are so professional, and maybe a bit TOO good at their job. It seriously was a huge spook, and the admission is scary-cheap for the amazing experience you get. Also, adding to the actors' professionalism, I had to leave in the middle of one of the haunted houses and the employees very kindly and expertly escorted me out. Not bad, but by no means great. It's really just the same old hack. And for $25, I really wanted to be frightened. That being said, here are a few tips to get the most out of your experience: 1. BUY THE VIP PASS. It's $10 extra, plus tax, bringing your total to almost $40 per ticket. That's a lot, but waiting in line for each attraction for 2 hours would suck a lot more. We bought the VIP passes, which puts you in a faster line- our longest wait was only about 15 minutes. 2. DON'T HURRY THROUGH. Your first inclination may be to run through each attraction to get away from the creepies that are doing their best to terrify you, but check out the details. Especially in the murder house. Get an eye-full, and a nose-full, and really get your money's worth. 3. THE CREEPIES WILL TOUCH YOU. If you don't like that, stay home. 4. SCREAM A LOT. That's why you came, right? Ok- now a tip for the owner. The VIP pass should include at least one Lexer Jump. I mean, come on. You got my $40- give me one jump. We didn't do the challenge where you can get your money back, but someone should try it and write a review so I know what that is. In summary, Frightmare Manor is a bit pricey for what you get in my opinion. If you scare easily, though, then this will be your worst nightmare. read more

I didn't get scared one time, if this is what it's gonna be don't charge $28 per person. tips for the owner- MORE JUMPSCARES!!!! ( i saw every person before they did anything and i went through first in line and last) , if you can touch people DO IT ( the only time i slightly jumped was the two times the touched me), maybe let people go through alone per request( I wasn't scared by the last one and asked to go Alone do I could actually be scared but they said no), try separating people from their group. Overall I was unsatisfied with this experience it wasn't scary, cmon I wanted to be scared for $28 read more

Come out smelling like sewer. Bring extra clothes. The money back feature has you eating hissing coackroaches. Bad if you have a hard time swallowing in the first place. A couple real good rooms, but not worth driving to. Some very good actors and makeups. If you can't drive to Nashville or to Hendersonville, go here. Otherwise not worth it. read more

We have been to this haunted attraction several times over the years. We have always had a great time there. This is one attraction that you should NOT get the vip access you will find out when you go. Also you will get touched there so if you're scared of that then do not go ,but that kinda adds to it in my opinion. I would tell you get over it baby you will be fine. A lot of the scares are pretty good and the overall experience is ok. The only things I dont like are the makeup isn't done very well and those same girls they have out front every year. They are super annoying and for some reason walk around with an air of superiority. It's a little ridiculous. Some of the actors dont stay in character the entire time either. When we walked through that smoke and cage filled section, I heard one actor telling another, "dont use that line again, that's my line and everyone knows it". Um...ok, are you 12? read more

I had a wonderful time here! The house is very well done and the people are great at freaking you out. They like to touch you which is amazing. Good scare. And Hannah was great! She gave us a good scare! I also work at another haunted house and really love going though a good haunt. It really makes me pumped! It was worth the drive and a lot of fun!!!!! Be forewarned tho! I rarely review things online but I have to after the HORRIBLE experience we had at Frightmare Manor's "Friday the 13th One Night Only Event". I have never felt more cheated out of my money in my life. My boyfriend and I paid extra for the VIP passes to skip the long lines, but when we were sent into both haunts...we were sent in groups of 15+ people...which meant every scare was spoiled ahead of time and we got none of the action. And my God, there was ZERO effort put into the haunts. Both attractions had minimal actors, lots of dead zones and Carnevil especially was a joke. They slapped together semi trailers with minimal decorations and had a few people in clown masks running around. This was advertised as a Friday the 13th themed night and the only Jason reference was a kid in a hockey mask standing outside the first haunt. By and far, this was a total money grab meant to funnel as many people through into haunts with minimal expense needed in order to turn a profit for the upcoming Halloween season. I tried messaging them on Facebook, only to be greeted with an automated reply. They don't care about delivering a good scary time for your hard earned money, they want a profit and it showed on this night. I was a fan of them years ago but it's clear they now rest on their laurels and reputation and I'll never spend another dime there. Oh, and what's really ballsy is making you pay for parking and then stacking cars in a way that people couldn't get out. This place sucks. Period. read more
