This farm scared me so much I almost peed, first time every going and it was beautiful

The Haunted Farm is SO awesome!!! My friends and I have been twice now and both times had such a super fun time. When you arrive on the farm, you'll park in a field and even as you walk up to buy tickets, there are people in costumes scaring you. It starts right away. Once you buy tickets, you'll join the line to enter. This may possibly be the most entertaining line you'll wait in. Be sure to use the porta potty before getting in line, because you'll probably be waiting for a bit. During the line, there are many spooky scary sounds playing, as well as screams for the guests going through the haunted farm. There are also staff in costumes there making it scary. The Haunted Farm is three parts (or it was when I went in the past). First is the haunted forest, then the haunted house, and then a hayride. My first visit to the haunted forest scared the crap out of me. There was a part with a werewolf figure in a strobe light that gave me a good scare for sure. There really is nothing like the adrenaline rush of being horrified (especially when deep down you actually know that you're totally safe). After walking yourself through the haunted forest, you enter the house. There is some serious TLC put into making this really, really cool. Each room has a different theme and story. One of the scariest for me was the demented dentist, geesh! The rooms range from the butcher shop to the neon clowns. As my friends and I walked through the house, we held hands creating a chain to keep each other safe, haha! The last part of the experience is the hayride which is the least scary to me but there are parts when creepy people come out of the field, jump on the hayride and get within inches of your face. So yeah, that's also scary. I feel like I just used the word 'scary' 50 times. I need to come up with some better words (it's 6am, give me a break) but my point is that this Haunted Farm is really freakin' cool and such a fun way to spend an October fall evening. read more

This farm is Epic Halloween fright adventure! We ventured out on a Saturday night in early October to get our spooky vibe on. We drove down the dark dirt road, paid our $5 parking (always makes me sad, but I get it) and walked up to get our tickets. I was sad there was no military or Veteran discount, but, it is what it is. Even as soon as you get into the queue to enter, there are amazing actors getting your hackles up. Our group is one of those rare types where we just don't frighten easily, but we go to these for the enjoyment of the art of it. And the art of this farm is incredible. The actors were all 100% in character, fabulously made up and very much in to it. They scared A LOT of people. The trails are well marked, and the houses are FAB. Terrific work was done making every nook and cranny highly themed and a wide variety of scare tactics were used. Very, very impressive. The truck ride back held a few surprises as well, most of which were of the scary variety. I didn't love stepping in a cow patty in the dim light. There has got to be a way to make that journey at the end less 'natural'. Other than that tiny bit of poo in my shoe, I LOVED this Haunted Farm and would recommend it to anyone! Definitely one of the best if not the best Haunts we have been to. We go to many haunts every year and we are so lucky to have this gem local to us. The attention to detail is incredible. The scares our awesome. I cannot say enough good about this place. If you want to go to one of the best Haunts out there you owe it to yourself to go to the haunted farm. You will not be disappointed. The rooms are incredible and the actors are spot on. This year's farm is better than any that we've been to. Will definitely go back before the end of the season there's just so much to see. This place has grown so much and every year never disappoints. We have to say it is our favorite!!! read more

This is the best haunt in North Carolina! A ton of work is put into the characters and sets. Everyone is super friendly and this place is S C A R Y! It's different from other haunted "houses" because it isn't a typical haunt. It's ON A FARM! A real farm! It's even a cool drive out to Hendersonville. The spookiest character is the girl with the dolls. OMG!! And the voodoo lady and the butcher!! Seriously if you like scary stuff you gotta go! You will leave feeling extremely disturbed...in a good way! read more

What do you do when you're vacationing in your favorite area in your favorite month? Those of us that love everything Halloween look for the haunted options in the area! A short drive from where we were staying to Hendersonville took us to the Haunted Farm. Fairly priced at 25 for general admission & 40 for a skip the line fast pass this is the haunt that keeps on giving! We arrived at 715 and had no issue with Park no it's 3.00 cash and btw cash only for tickets but they have an atm. Our only wait was for it to get dark and the release of the actors. We were the first fast pass to enter. You start on a dark haunted trail with surprise interactions along the way. As you walk you change to different houses or trails and it gets more and more interesting. Pitch black houses you have to feel your way out and through tunnels that can get tight and keeps you guessing what's coming up next! There also a really cool elevator and 3 D things popping out when you least expect it. I really liked the ceilings & water looking areas with smoke, very cool special effects! There are neon 3D clowns that are super creepy and that tunnel about made me sick!!! Dizzy and the clown in there messes with your head!!!! Outside you pass through an actual pig farm #PU and the pig man is waiting to see you to the tractor pulled hayride through the corn field. During your ride characters jump aboard and might sit next to you like my new friend the chainsaw carrying clown did!!! All in all the experience took about an hour was different from the options I have at home and I had a great time! I didn't get any photos though because once you start you don't stop until you're done!! I did see one character at the end but missed getting a pic with her near the hearse! If you're in for a scare, this is the place you'll want to go. From the moment you pull up and before you can get out of your vehicle and head towards ticket/entrance beware of the many different characters jumping out at you. This place has it all. It's dark and spooky and the atmosphere already has you in some kind of fright. Hearing the screams of paying customers from the parking lot, you know you're in for a good scare treat. This place is costly and usually takes around 30-40 minutes to complete. It's well worth it though. This place does not skimp on horror entertainment and is done very well. They pay very close attention to detail. You want to be scared right? It's like walking through a Hollywood movie that replays in your darkest nightmare. You know the one where you wake up and you're sweating and panting hard for your next breath. Walking through the dark wooded path expect for trees to come alive and zombies to pop out of nowhere. Once you enter the run down shack in the middle of the woods there's someone to meet you on the front porch inviting you in. If you're not scared yet you will be once you enter. Seeing the man of the house eating cannibals on the dining room table (here's the detailed part getting good) looks real and then upon entering what i call the "doll room" (which was a big NOPE for me). Have i mentioned the clowns yet? Like spooky carnivals that look they took from a Rob Zombie movie set? I'm telling you all, this is the place to get your scare on. I wont go much further into detail, i don't want to ruin any scare surprises. I just hope I've given you a mental scare picture as what you should expect from this place. I will say as a parent of teenagers and seeing parents bring their younger kids. This isn't the place for young kids. Not in the slightest. All in all, I was very impressed with the staff and exhibit. You can tell that a lot of time and effort has been put into this place. At some point, you're going to jump in fright. It might be a scream or your heart skipping a beat but, one way or another this place will get you. Covid Restrictions. They are operating at half capacity. They do check your temp before entering with hand sanitizer provided in many spots. Once you park you get a QR code (from parking attendant) that you scan with your smartphone and receive a text later when its your time to enter. They do ask that you remain in your vehicle until its your time to enter. Social distancing is asked while waiting in line and going through the exhibit. You MUST wear a mask at all times while touring the haunted farm. read more

Had the best time at The Haunted Farm tonight! Hadn't been back since 2019 and it did not disappoint. For those that have been before, you'll be blown away with all the new spooks and sets! Top notch set design, trails, and staffed with plenty of ppl in costume so that there were haunts around every corner! Everyone in our group had a blast. Definitely worth the money and one of the best haunted attractions I've ever been too! I've been to several haunted houses/spooky events and this one, by far, has blown my mind! Literally the best one I've ever been to. We did wait about two hours to get in, so if you hate waiting, I'd advise getting the fast passes. The house itself is very long, it includes a forest walk, house part, and a hayride! I was extremely impressed. They touch on all different types of fears... insects, clowns, claustrophobia, bathrooms, etc. it's amazing! :) read more

Very well done! Unexpectedly created to professional standards. Quite long too! Might be a bit much for younger ones...my son is 9 and loves Halloween stuff but said maybe next year would have been better for him to attend this haunted house. A lot to see and experience once you start the walk, nothing starts until dark, some of it is outside, mostly inside. Pitch black at times to follow walls with your hands, strobe lights and 3D glasses involved in sections. Definitely 'THE' haunted house to attend! We paid the extra for the 'fast pass/no line' and happy we did. read more

I went here for the first time with a friend of mine today. We had such a good time, we even befriended some fellow scared people. I am a huge horror/halloween fan and this was great. They have put so much effort into this place, down to the SMELL. Costumes, props, and special effects were all phenomenal. This is packed with epic jump scares that had me screaming nearly every time. I totally understand why they wait for it to get dark before starting. This was such a great experience, the people here were so kind (minus the fear factor). I highly recommend visiting. read more

I'm only giving this 4 stars because of the parking situation. They parked us in and we had to wait until 4 vehicles left to even attempt getting out. The haunt itself was awesome. I suggest arriving early as in 7 pm. We got there around 7:30 and had to wait about 45 minutes not too bad. When we were done with the haunt all the lines were extremely long. The wait to park was probably a good hour or two then another two to three to get tickets and get in. It's a great haunt. Worth the $20 read more

Not worth it. We went here while on vacation and it was actually a joke. Went on Friday night, got there at 8, made it into the "farm" at 9. This place has some good potential but there was nothing scary about it. The sets/costumes were good but noone jumps out at you or tries to scare you. Sadly the best part was the hayride back to the entrance. At least they had 2 people try to jump on the hayride even though you could see them coming. read more
