There is always a long line for the homemade tamales but I was not hungry, I forgot the name of the company but you won't miss it. The atmosphere is cool and seems like everyone is having a good time and enjoying the weather. My wife ran into a vendor called Ana Banana Co. they have candles and car diffusers. I bought one for my car, Aloha Paradise scent. My car does indeed smell like paradise. Overall, great vendors and good atmosphere. Head on over.

I get that Farmer's Markets are also a great place to sell other specialty items but the vegetables are the main thing I'm looking for. Some of the vegetables looked sad and wilted already and I couldn't believe the prices they were still charging for them. I did buy some bratwurst from a meat vendor that was there and they had some good stuff available, but again it was pricey. I understand that vendors need to charge more for their items but spending way more than I would at grocery store for the same items is a turn-off for me. Maybe I'm just spoiled because I used to visit farmers markets in Iowa (Iowa City and Dubuque) and both of those were quite spectacular with a wide array of options. The best thing about this market was the fresh squeezed lemonade I bought. Thankfully the vendor offers $2.50 lifetime refills so I can buy something when I visit again.

It is conveniently located next to the Memorial Library, so you can check out some books and then get some produce, bread, and coffee. The AH Farmer's Market is a nice way to kick off the weekend in my opinion.

They do have a walk-in cooler with what had lots and lots of apples when we went- but some of the produce didn't look to be in great shape. The ones we did pick were pretty good and lasted awhile in our pantry. I did get some of the bread to try and it was relatively tasty - but to be honest, I would go to one of the other bakeries in town before I went back to SunBerry. This may be a better place if you know exactly what you need and not so much to browse and try something different.
