The coffee area itself is quite small and with the Saturday morning rush it felt reaaaaally tight inside. I ordered an iced matcha along with a spinach feta pastry and both were delicious. Hands down, this was the best matcha I had in Fredericksburg!! There were seven of us, and since indoor seating is very limited we grabbed everything to go and enjoyed it while walking. I'm taking one star off for the service. During our visit, the staff didn't make much eye contact and seemed uninterested in answering questions which made the interactions feel really unwelcoming. Maybe they were having an off morning or feeling overwhelmed... That said, the quality of the drinks and food was excellent, and I'd still recommend stopping by for the matcha alone!

Vibe is euro-bistro and the staff is perfectly attentive. Prices are high, but honestly aligned to the quality of the food, at least the dishes we had were worth the prices. Food: Buttermilk Fried Chicken, with Onion/Bacon flash fried collard greens, whipped potatoes and house gravy and Jalapeno Cornbread for $32 Reuben on Marble Rye for $24 16oz Stella Artois for $10 We agreed that the fried chicken (5/5) was the best we could remember having. Whipped potatoes (5/5) were light, fluffy and perfect taste/texture. The gravy was like brown butter (5/5). The collard greens (5/5) were flash fried and if you've never had them like this, it's like eating collard green potato chips. Cornbread (3/4) was a bit too delicate and sweet for our taste. You couldn't pick it up without it falling apart. The Ruben (3/5). My wife loves a good Ruben sandwich. This one had the makings of a good one, but they use a Thousand Island sauce (too much of it) on the sandwich, and it hides the flavor of the meat. Next time we would ask for the sandwich without the TI sauce, see if that improves the rating. The sandwich came with house made potato chips (5/5), a small house salad with vinaigrette (5/5) and a large, pickled cucumber. I know, that's a pickle, but these are cucumbers that have gone maybe a third of the way through the process, so the cucumber taste is really prevalent. Lastly, we had the Creme Brulé (3/5) for dessert. It was nice, but the custard was coffee and caramel flavored, and we prefer the standard custard look and flavor. The caramel should come from the top layer, not the custard. The top layer was a bit too thick as well. We liked it, just didn't love it. Overall, quality food, service and vibe with prices that are aligned to more special occasions than everyday eating out. We'll be back to try the Monday Crawfish Etoufee and the Tuesday Duck Confit daily specials...look too good to pass up.

Sadly, I tipped when I shouldn't have. Then he proceeds to tell me to move forward. The guy after me gets his things and I sit there for a good while. When I finally get my drink it's just coffee no ice in a cold coffee cup. It was so full it was starting to come out of the lid. I go inside and ask the guy who says he's the manager, named Cutter what happened and why I had a full cup that was so full it spilt over with the straw and why was there no ice. He says they accidently put the warm coffee in my cup. Who is that dumb to not know cold from hot coffee?. It was all inexcusable behavior from start to finish.I finally got my actual order and couldn't run out of there fast enough. I would be so ashamed to call this my business, and definitely would be drug testing the employees if they are putting hot coffee in a big plastic cup meant for cold coffee. I don't know how the plastic didn't melt. Just a fail in every way this time.
