All the other dental offices were o er charging me hundreds of dollars for "out of pocket " icosts which were actually covered by insurance. I strongly advise against visiting this office. They half-heartedly address your concerns and then waste your time by scheduling you for a cleaning instead of addressing the issue you came to see about your teeth. Additionally, I'm having trouble with food getting stuck in my teeth. The receptionist and the dentist I was seeing weren't my actual dentist, and they were both equally incompetent. I've been looking for a dentist since moving to Texas. We had terrible insurance which only paid for a dentist chain I did not trust based on their horrible reviews. But some constant tooth pain led me to seek care outside of insurance. After reading reviews I landed at Frisco Elm and I could not have been more satisfied! First of all, they answered the phone! So many offices have terrible front desk employees. But not at Frisco Elm. The ladies at the desk are always friendly, smiling, welcoming, helpful. The waiting room is clean with a small kids area and tvs for both adults and kids. But the reason you really go is for the doctor. And Frisco Elm shines here too. Both dentist and hygienist were welcoming, competent, and efficient. My situation was worse than expected but they were so calming in explaining everything. She showed pictures that showed the decay and came up with a plan for care. I never felt shamed or worried. She took into consideration my lack of insurance and came up with a treatment plan with all the costs clearly laid out. I finished two follow up appointments and both times they went as well as I could have hoped. They explained the procedures and it was done efficiently and without pain. Their costs for patients without insurance are very transparent and fair. I can't say enough good things about this dentist. We have found our new family dentist and it is such a relief! PS. Televisions in the examination room are such a nice distraction. HGTV for the win! read more

I was looking for a place that would be extra cautious and careful due to my medical history and after they reviewed my history they did my X-rays and extra pictures. Dr Nguyen and Maria came in and discussed how they needed to do things in portions and with medical clearance from my medical dr. With my history this is exactly how I knew it would need to happen. They gave me estimates and hours that would work with my schedule. Now we wait on my dr. But I am glad they knew from that moment to take so many precautions. I chose this dentist based on the reviews and because they have extended hours. I went for an exam and cleaning. At the end, I was asked if I wanted the fluoride treatment and I said yes. That was a huge mistake because when I went to my car and look in the mirror, I saw the fluoride was caked on my teeth. The assistant did a horrible job applying the fluoride. I'm not sure if she was new or WHAT. In the past, I have chosen the fluoride treatment at other dental offices and it has NEVER look like that. The assistant also was encouraging me to swallow the fluoride. I told her no multiple times. The dentist and his assistant also rushed the cleaning. My teeth look worst after leaving the place. I will NEVER in my life visit this dental office again. read more

I had been experiencing some tooth pain, so I decided to make a dental appointment. Setting up an appointment at Frisco Elm Dental was so easy! They were able to accommodate my appointment request with no problem. I always have doctor anxiety, but everyone in the office was great and made me feel very comfortable. During my visit, I saw Dr. Thai-son Tran and he is absolutely wonderful! He's so bubbly, and once he entered the room my anxiety left. Dr. Tran was very detailed in explaining everything to me and made sure I understood my diagnosis. This is a characteristic I appreciate greatly, especially when it comes to my doctors. I highly recommend this dental office. Very professional staff and I was in good hands. I was a little nervous because I had not been to the dentist in a long time. I was driving around to find a dental office and this was right down the street from me. I was greeted by a professional and friendly assistant who explained the procedure and scheduled an appointment for me. I was given some anti biotic prescription and scheduled a week later because of the swelling and irritation. The dentist was not sure she could pull it and said I may need an oral surgeon but I told her I don't have insurance so she went ahead a scheduled me to extract the tooth. It was not an easy toot to pull and during the procedure she was very reassuring the whole time talking to me and telling me the progress. It was a cracked tooth so it was not easy. Basically she preformed a miracle extraction as this had deep roots. I would go back because I feel I'm in n safe hands. read more

Dr. Tran and team are amazing!!! After going to a dentist for a broken crown that wanted to extract two teeth and replace them with implants for $14,000!!!! I was apprehensive. Dr.Tran gave me a more reasonable plan to resolve my issues and was as upset as I was at the previous dentist. Needless to say Dr.Tran will be the primary dentist for all 6 of my family members. read more

I mostly love the members,and the facility. But today there was a Mask on the floor, and lady who do my cleaning, she didn't use or bother to floss my teeth, instead she grab the floss and threw it to the trash! Other then that I had a great experience with the rest of the member always nice and smiling. read more

The customer service at Frisco Elm Dental has plummeted to a rating far below Yelp's "not good" rating. I wrote a stellar review of Frisco Elm Dental for my first visit as an uninsured patient, and I was so impressed by the service and dentistry that I arranged family cleanings as soon as I became insured. My husband and I arrived this morning, 15 minutes early for our respective noon appointments, and despite his new patient questionnaire disclosing insurance information in my name (and submitted three days before today's appointment), I was informed that my dental insurance needed to be verified. After 15 minutes of no contact, I asked one of two staff persons for status, learned that my insurance was verified, and asked how soon the cleanings would begin because I had to report to work. The second person asked what time I begin work and I responded that is irrelevant because that negates the purpose of an appointment. She replied that I never provided my insurance information until today. In what altered reality is the patient devalued to this degree? If you must experience an exponential amount of crass demeanor in real time, visit Frisco Elm Dental. Never before have I visited any professional office and been publicly chastised because the staff refuses to accept responsibility for an oversight. A mere apology would have gone a long way; instead the second person had the audacity to attribute blame to me, and that was my queue to depart and seek a new dentist. read more

All the staff is very nice and professional. I was a walk in with a tooth ache and they took me in right away. Dr Suri took extra care of my teeth and showed me where my teeth needed attention and took care of them. I found this place through a random google search, but I was not disappointed at all! They got me scheduled quickly considering all the restrictions from the pandemic, the office was really nice and all the staff I interacted with were extremely nice and professional. Also the price estimate for my treatment plan (several cavities and a root canal) were much less expensive than I was afraid they were gonna be, so that was a relief. Talk about making a bad first impression. I lost a crown last night so I thought okay let me find a new dentist that is highly reviewed that may care about their patients first over the almighty dollar. So, after reading the Yelp reviews, I submitted my insurance info, did all the online forms only to be told that I needed to call the insurance and get it straight. Fair, so in the interest of preserving my tooth I asked what I had to pay out of pocket while I worked it out, oh lets see....$75 for us to re-cement the crown, oh and we have to do an exam so add $49, oh and we have to do X-rays so add $75. By the time she was done it was clear that their collection was far more important than my missing crown. We will not be utilizing this dentist. Oh by the way I have new insurance (EVEN better than my wife's) starting in two days. Maybe by then I will find a dentist that puts the patient first. read more
