We were on a street that had very poor pedestrian crossings marked . Since then , there has Been significant improvements . There was no other traffic on the street in question . The bus driver said he never saw her . Hit the brakes hard enough , just in time . We thought he was on his phone . No charges were laid as a result of the accident . But I was told by police , that he was considering a charge for something else . Never did find out . I contacted Richard Floor from Altman and Altman . He said he would take the case . It may be complicated , but seemed positive . In the last 6 years or so , communication has almost been nonexistent . My wife has mostly recovered except a lingering pain in her foot . Not sure the reviews have been fairly good , but our experience has been terrible .

The lawyer didn't give me the time of the day perhaps because of my Latino name and emphatically insisted that they DO NOT HANDLE LTD CLAIMS! I was shocked that he said that because I was looking at their website that clearly states they do! I feel that lawyer discriminated against me based on my name and should not even be allowed to practice law! See screenshot of their website information on LTD! The dude lied to me and I would steer clear of a law firm that has lawyers on staff that have the gall to lie to potential UPDATE: The Attorney Called me and explained that they did handle LTD Claims but the Attorney they had on staff that specializes on that is no longer with the firm. He explained that he is unable to update his website to remove that page because COVID-19, restrictions have them working remotely. I'm good with his explanation but informed him that I called again as another person and once again their answering service told me that they indeed handle LTD claims. He tried to again press the excuse about being remote to which I reminded him that there are other methods of communication he can take such as sending an email to all involved with his practice to get them on the same page. I updated my stars to 3 as a gesture of good will and to indicate a neutral review.

Which I immediately was charged a $5,000 retainer. Great. I'm Optimistic. The early phase was fair, this is 90% email, say 2 phone calls and 1 Zoom meeting. I was told we needed a 4X4, basically mediation. This came and went. The only agreement that could be reached was to use an App for communication. David was never on the offensive, despite my suggestions. There was no strategy, but to answer opposing Counsels filed Court documents which roughly $1,500 for him to read. I'm a fair person. But this was a joke. $5,000 for reading emails, a couple phone calls 2 meetings. The opposing counsel ran circles around David. If you have $20k plus to go the distance. Go somewhere else. You may as well light $5,000 on fire. Needless to say I fired David today.
