Now, I know the priority is the patient, but, Pacific Hills Case Manager, Juana Magallon, went above and beyond to make sure that we, as a family, had all our questions answered and helped us navigate a system with which we previously had no experience. So mumsy took a bad fall at home and broke her right femur (leg) close to her hip. We had to call…read morethe ambulance and took her to Saint Louise Hospital in Gilroy Ca and then transferred to Santa Clara Valley Medical Hospital in San Jose Ca. She needed surgery to have some titanium pins put into her femur to help her recover. She was then sent to nursing facility in Morgan Hill called Pacific Hills Post Acute and this is where her next days will help her recover and try to get her walking again. She get's physical therapy and medication and meals and towel bathes from the staff. All of them are great employees and do a pretty good job putting up with the elderly patients in need of some medical care while they are recovering from EVERYTHING. I have been there twice already visiting mumsy and pretty impressed by all of the work everyone does around this facility. A lot of young staff and older and different nationalities. The front office and RN's & LVN's and MA's and CNA's and Case Mangers and Admissions staff all very helpful on helping our mother.

The massage itself was definitely on the rougher side because she was working through a lot of tight knots, but it was exactly what my back needed. You could tell she really knew what she was doing and focused on the problem areas instead of just going through the motions. Having been a head neck and throat cancer recovery patient myself, I suffer from lymphatic drainage issues, inflammation, ear tinnitus, TMJ tightness, major scar tissue on side of my neck where my lymph node is all from surgery, chemo and radiation. I routinely get massages to keep my body functioning. I previously had the softer kind of lymph drainage at a local spot as well as a Brazilian lymphatic drainage massage at a diff location out of my local vicinity. I did respond well to the more intense deep Brazilian style. I was hoping to find a good place that is local and R&R Wellness popped up. I knew I had to get in and after reading reviews and her personal bio online, Erin was the girl I wanted to try. She did not disappoint and actually exceeded what I hoped for. I love that she customizes and listens to how you are feeling what your goals are and caters to that with her skills, talent and TOOLS! She finds the problem areas and knows exactly what each area needs and she puts in the WORK. After my sessions with her I feel the inflammation and fluid retention fade away in the days and weeks after. The cranial TMJ massage broke up a ton of scar tissue and my neck tissue has never felt so soft. It amazes me how much it improved! She truly knows how to heal and has the most powerful hands. This review is for in home PT services with Saher. Saher visited our home to work with my two…read moreelderly friends. I oversee their home and care. Saher is very caring, but her shortcomings far outweighed her attributes. She admitted to being disorganized; claiming that remembering appointments and important rules of our home were too difficult for her. With indoor pets and two elderly residents; safety is of the utmost importance. The rules of our home are set up to maintain safety and are very simple. She was often unfocused and spent the scheduled appointment time socializing rather than providing the services for which she was hired. I was greatly disturbed by her care of my elderly friend who is physically the more compromised of the two. She asked him to help her set up a heavy and cumbersome massage table, compromising his safety! This was very dangerous for him and she was aware of his limitations prior to requesting his assistance. With her expertise, she should not have enlisted his aide for such a task. If she cannot manage such tools independently, she should not be using them. The most upsetting incident that happened with Saher is when she let my elderly friend fall WHILE doing PT with him. This was irresponsible and negligent. Her scope of duties is to ensure that the exercises are done as safely as possible and within the reasonable ability of the client/patient. Upon subsequent visits she started soliciting me to help with the exercises. I am not a trained Physical Therapist and I was busy with my own tasks. She should have brought help, planned and executed more appropriate activities and/or avoided exercises that required two people to manage him. Lastly, we received numerous invoices 5-6 months after we had ceased working with her. She was astonishingly disorganized with her paperwork; which caused me an unreasonable amount of extra work to research and cross reference her invoices. They were out of order, some were already billed, some were unclear, some were from her forgetting to bill. It was very confusing. It saddens me to have to leave this review. Unfortunately, the care we received from Saher was not the quality that I expect from an out of pocket PT and I ultimately found her to be unsafe for my friends. That in conjunction with her unprofessionalism has prompted me to leave this review.
