The doc is great. It's close to my home. Ample parking. But calling them to schedule an appointment is a literal nightmare. It's like playing phone tag but nobody ever gets tagged . I have a $25 balance I have been trying to pay for 4 months, and I have called at 8am, 9am, 10am, 11am, noon, 1,pm, 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm. They never pick up . I will have to drive there to make a copay payment that did not process bc the machine was not working. That part is annoying. And ultimately I am switching providers bc making an appointment here is virtually impossible. But if you make the appointment in person, then it's smooth sailing. read more

I can't say enough about this establishment. Not only are they kind, and patient, the Therapists are also EXTREMELY knowledgeable and sincerely want to give you the best care possible. I have only been treated by Glenn, however after witnessing other therapists working on clients there, they ALL seem very competent as well. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I have had some experience with physical therapists, but nothing like the full scale immersion I experienced after I had a hip replacement. I had PT at the hospital and home, and then graduated to this establishment to get me back to full health. They fit me in, and then my improvement was rapid enough that my biggest issue was keeping up with the improvements I was experiencing. They have been very good in explaining things so I can get back to the level of function I hope to. Right now I'm actually fixing the issues in my musculature that pre-dated the hip replacement, and that seems to be improving at a good clip. From the start, all the therapists I've interacted with have been great. Robert, Glenn, and Liane have all been very much giving me the information I need to improve, and critiquing my current state to suggest what I need to work on to improve my physical state. They've also been helpful in sharing their expertise from seeing a large number for people with similar surgical procedures. It's actually been good to get the expertise of all of these therapists, as each has contributed different viewpoints, all of which have been helpful in guiding my recovery. Very comfortable environment to have PT in, and I've recommended them to one of my old friends, who is ending up in the same state that advancing age I find myself in. read more

I've been to this office for care and I have recommend Rob and his staff to many people. What I specifically like: 1. I like Rob, he is a great person and he cares about his patients. 2. Rob and his staff are focused on my issues as opposed to other PT offices where the staff is discussing their personal lives and ignoring the patient. 3. I love the family vibe at this branch. 4. The facility is bright and cheerful, the staff is happy and the exercise equipment is new and in working order (unlike the Gilroy branch which needs some TLC). What I'd like to see improve: I have found another place in town that I like better because I get more time from the actual physical therapist as opposed to PT assistants. That said, Rob's aids are great and I really like the family atmosphere and caring at this facility, so I'd say they come in at a close second. read more

This place is incredible!! It all started with Elizabeth taking my call and doing everything she could to get my dad in as soon as possible. After having knee replacement surgery at the VA, it was taking a while to get VA authorization. I told her I'd be happy to pay out of pocket just to get him going with the physical therapy, which we knew is extremely important for his recovery process. Elizabeth went above and beyond and was able to get the VA doctor's authorization order for us before his appointment because she was so concerned about a veteran having to pay out of pocket. Then Dr Erin Schulz took us both to the back and explained the whole physical therapy process and laid out our game plan and goals to get optimal results. She was extremely informative, knowledgeable, patient and answered all of our questions. We've been here for 3 sessions now, and the entire staff is so friendly and helpful. The place is also immaculate and all of the equipment is constantly being disinfected. My dad is having a very smooth recovery process and I couldn't be more amazed with his results thanks to this place! read more

I've only been going here 2 weeks now (3 weeks post op), and so far I am very impressed. I've never had to do PT before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. However, I will say this. Although it's a slow healing process, I leave there feeling hopeful. The team is committed, helpful and positive. The energy in this clinic is uplifting. My appointments never seem rushed. I have had two knee replacements, one in May 2011 and the 2nd in Dec 2011. After both knee replacements I had extensive physical therapy at Fritter, Schulz & Conlan. I previously had been to several physical therapists through the years because of knee and back injuries. So I had a point of reference and comparison. My surgeon had also recommended this group. The staff are remarkable, competent, professional, and goal oriented individuals that work as a team. They have the proper equipment to perform full range of exercises/ therapy needed, the atmosphere is friendly and community oriented. They are innovative and personalize your therapy plan to meet your individual needs. I received exceptional therapy and I am on my way to feeling like I did 10 years ago! They also worked with my surgeon to optimize my treatment plan and coordinated insurance/approval (this is so very important so individuals aren't left with outstanding bills because their insurance carriers have not been properly billed and hence not paid). They also have a wondersul sense of humor that doesn't hurt! I highly recommend this group of great professionals. read more

I just finished 10 weeks of therapy with Rob Conlan and couldn't be happier with this office. All of the staff are nice, helpful and knowledgeable. For hands-on treatment I worked primarily with Rob; he has a great personality and knows his stuff. He was happy to answer all of my questions and very thorough in his explanations. I found the assistants would help where needed and kept a watchful eye on my form during my exercise/gym time. It didn't hurt that this location is 5 minutes from my home; very clean; "family" atmosphere - if I ever need PT again, I will come back here!! read more

My husband has thoroughly enjoyed the amount of professionalism, knowledge and support for his ongoing recovery from shoulder surgery.

Rob was very friendly, however it was the least effective PT appointment I've had. He examined almost everywhere except the actually injury location and when asked about exercises he simply told me it would take several visits for that. ??? Very strange! The front office is especially difficult to work with including scheduling my appt incorrectly and giving me incorrect billing information. I paid more out of pocket then I was told and for zero help for my injury. I would not recommend. read more

I have been to a lot of physical therapy clinics, and these guys are the best! Everybody who works there is amazing. They really dedicate time to each of their patients and help them understand how to avoid further injury. They also don't try to cause you pain, and really do pay attention to determine if you are pushing yourself too hard and not telling them! They all have different personalities, and love to chat about whatever topic their patients toss out at them :) I have been a patient there for years and highly recommend them! read more

I have gone to Fritter, Schulz and Conlan many times. They have helped me recover from injuries and from three surgeries I had on my legs. Because of them, I can walk. The exercises work well to bring back range of motion, strength, and general usability. The treatments also really help with pain. One thing I really like is that they are great with working with lots of different medical offices. I have been there on referrals from internists, an orthopedic surgeon at Stanford, an orthopedic surgeon at El Camino hospital in Mountain View, and my neurologist. They have worked well with all of them. Everyone is very friendly and professional, and can offer helpful suggestions for how to start doing things at home in a way that is pain free, as well as lists of exercises to do at home to keep strength and flexibility working well. Definitely do the exercises they give you. I have ignored them before and had my legs gradually get weaker until my knees started to hurt much more. When I stay in great shape after I leave physical therapy, it is because I stick to the advice I have gotten. The whole environment is very supportive and positive, and they have not only helped me, but both of my parents as well. I love this place. One tip--try to schedule a few days in advance if you can. Some times are busier than others, so schedule a few days out to get a time that works well for you. I would not expect to get an appointment later that day 100% of the time. Also, their waiting room got taken over by the Urgent Care Center across the hall (both are inside the De Paul Health Center). There is some room to sit and wait inside of the office in case you get there early. Also, the De Paul Health Center is one wing of what used to be a hospital. The signs need to be fixed. The big blue awning is where you want to go to. The old emergency entrance and main entrance are closed, so the parking and entrance is near the sign for the Urgent Care Center and doctors offices. If you need physical therapy and have the chance to go to this office, do it. I always looked forward to physical therapy at Fritter, Schulz and Conlan. Yes, there can be hard work. But it is a relaxing, healing time, and every person that works there cares a lot about their patients and they really know what they're doing. It's a high quality of care, and it's consistently high all around. read more

Awesome staff (all). I started going about 1-1/2 years ago and will never go anywhere else. After a major back surgery, they provided unbelievable care and direction to not only a recovery, but at 59 years old, best condition in 20 years. I had a hardware issue and 2 more surgeries. The core condition not only shocked my surgeon, but everyone in my immediate recovery. Thank you Rob, Monica, Jeff, Barb and one other I cannot remember her name.
