I've been trying conservative treatments for cervical spine pain for a year and finally had to resort to something stronger. Ariel Shaifer, N.P. was my caregiver and she was thorough , informative and went over the cautions of using stronger pain killers. But, she was still accommodating and not condescending or tough. You just have to pass a drug screening prior, a urine test or mouth swab. I was unable to urinate right away but sat in the lobby drinking water until I could. I had nothing to hide. Marijuana use might be a factor in the ability to receive medication, so be forewarned. I was even told to try CBD, but was concerned that since some CBD has a very small amount of THC, I had not used it. I was told that if it showed up upon my next visit, I'd just be asked to discontinue using that product. So, they aren't unreasonable. I had a plethora of conservative treatment information from several doctors and a referral, which apparently is not required, but helpful. I think that's why it went so smoothly. Ariel Shaifer is very pleasant and knowledgeable. The rest of the staff is polite and pleasant as well. I highly recommend them. I had a bad experience at Colorado Pain Specialists where the doctor actually contradicted my doctor's opinion (because he'd never heard of him) and made me cry. Plus, they were in Golden, not so close and easy to get to in Longmont. They followed COVID guidelines and there was no wait... the waiting room was busy, but not packed full. Plus, they ran on time. Seek no further, this is the right place to go!

Now, some clown named Carl B responds A YEAR LATER, saying they're so sorry to hear about my frustration. So sorry that it took a year to respond? Are you even kidding me Carl B? You're a clown like the rest of the clowns running that company. GTFO with your nonsense; Klarisana's intake was fine, except your incompetent employees dropped the ball and never got back to me. They failed. For weeks, they failed. You failed. OWN IT. As far as I could see, nobody worked very hard at their jobs. Your leadership team failed once. I have no doubt it could happen again. You want to know what happened. Open your eyes and talk to your employees. No, I won't be reaching out to Klrisana but I will keep writing you accurate reviews if you want to respond a year later. Unbelievable, you are still in business. Carl B writes; We're sorry to hear about your frustration and that your experience with our intake and scheduling process did not meet expectations. Our goal is always to provide clear communication and a professional experience for every patient. Because of patient privacy laws, we cannot discuss individual situations publicly. However, Klarisana follows strict medical, safety, and confidentiality standards, and our team works hard to provide responsible care to the patients we serve. We would welcome the opportunity to better understand what happened and address your concerns. Please contact our office and ask for our leadership team so we can look into this further.

This place is literally malicious. I had a patronizing introductory discussion with a doctor who,…read moreafter having talked to me for 10 minutes, told me I had depression (I didn't smile enough). (No, it isn't in any way clinically responsible or ethical to do such a thing, especially if you're not a psychiatrist.) There were other sexist implications made about migraines and women. This place pushed new additional medications on me constantly. When I said that I didn't want to quickly add more medication and that my goal was to be on the LEAST medication possible, they insisted that "it all works better together." On top of that, they were prescribing medications without even inquiring to understand how the existing medications were working. One doctor I saw insisted that I take a triptan by self-injection rather than by pill despite my having so much dislike of the injection that I was enduring pain rather than taking the injection. (A doctor at another institution told me there was no reason he should have tried to push self-injection on me.) Right after Covid, they started pulling people back into the office as quickly as possible and insisted that I have an appointment with them every month (requiring high specialist fees). Their entire business model is built on extreme monetization of people who are in pain and desperate for help - every patient is a potential cash cow. This is predatory and unethical. Stay very far away from this place. I ran many of their statements past other doctors and was told there was no scientific evidence to support what they were saying, and that their medication regimen is highly suspect. I'm extremely suspicious that they are on the take from pharmaceutical companies given their wild insistence on getting people on as much medication as possible. There are other, more reputable care providers in town.

The next time was in 2017 when I was experiencing knee pain where I saw Chelsea again who diagnosed my problem as a torn meniscus but due to insurance requirements I needed several PT sessions and an MRI before I could have surgery. After the knee surgery Chelsea helped me regain full mobility in early 2018. Later in 2018 when I was trying to get back into running shape I suffered severe pain in my left calf and again Chelsey helped me get back to pain free running. The fourth time Chelsey helped me was with golfer's elbow that was a result of my doing pull ups for the first time in decades. In only a few sessions Chelsey helped relieve the pain and get full mobility back but I haven't gone back to the pull up bar yet. The Longmont front office workers were always extremely helpful with scheduling, insurance claims, and were very efficient.

We've…read moretried out a few kids tennis lessons and coaches in different surrounding cities, but Gonzo Tennis Academy is the BEST. Why? Because for my 5 year old and 7 year old kids, they get bored easily and act up, but Coach Gonzo and his brother Coach Diego are FUN and get the kids hitting! My 5 and 7 year old kids have dramatically improved with their technique in the 1 session we've been here and they always wind up laughing so much during their lesson. They talk to the side line parents for quick 10 second tips and advice during the lesson. Everything is broken down for the kids and easy to understand. We've had "tough guy" coaching techniques before, and they just aren't appropriate for this young age...usually my kids get discouraged with that kind of coach attitude. I travel all the way from Broomfield to Longmont because it's totally worth it and very reasonable prices for (non-member) tennis lessons. Oh, and did I mention lessons are *inside* a tennis bubble? Our last tennis session at Broomfield Tennis and Swim club was outside and we often had to cancel lessons due to poor weather, and I just didn't have the time to make up the lessons on alternative days. That, and my kids just hated the Colorado cold and windy days. They mentally gave up on playing before the lesson. We can play all year long and my boys don't have a huge lull between seasons. It's really the best overall place for little kid tennis lessons! Just don't take my 2 spots from my boys, okay? ;D
