One of my daughter's tutors actually told her to use the Princeton Review content as it was better than Varsity Tutor content. The Tutors were ambivalent about setting work in between sessions and even about booking next session. In fact, initial tutor had to change schedule that was in conflict with my daughter's sport practices - and we lost 4 hours of tutoring completely. I had been promised additional hours back and a new tutor when I called into customer service but then received an email stating that the hours would not be credited after further review. My daughters score did improve - but I think that was mostly due to her dillegence on practicing the test. Finally, we had signed up for 3 months - but then kept getting charged and was told it is non refundable. Don't buy into the marketing - get your kids in a Princeton Review session or even better a live in person option.

The owner Ms. Adrian (who I honestly think may be an angel disguised in human form because she is so kind and so caring) told me to give him a few more months as did my pediatrician. Well not only did my son start talking at 2 years 3 months, he started to academically excel. He learned his colors, shapes, mathematical concepts almost overnight and every day he seems to learn something new. His father recently got a teaching job at a local private school so we decided (given his discount) to apply for a pre-k four spot. When we met with school staff and we were told all the things he would be learning in Pre-K 4 this year, we realized that almost everything on the list he already learned at Little Darlings. When my son did his trial run of Pre-K 4 at the new school, he was accepted into the school by close of business that day. They were impressed by his behavior and intellect and we attribute much of that to Little Darlings. In addition to making sure that your children learn, the staff at Little Darlings are truly caring. The owner is one of the kindest people I have ever met and her empathy/concern trickles down to the rest of the staff. I still remember a rough morning that I did not want to drop my son off (he barely had sleep the night before but I was starting a new job and couldn't call out so I had to begrudgingly send him to school knowing that he was exhausted), the assistant director noticed the shift from my normal demeanor. She asked me if I was ok and I honestly told her "no" and she just gave me a big hug, and that hug and her care/concern helped me to get myself together and go through my day. The staff at Little Darlings has truly poured into my child and into me. I am very sad that my son is leaving but he takes with him a joy for learning that the staff at Little Darlings helped to instill. I can truly say that having him at Little Darlings was one of the best parenting decisions that we have made. Ian did an outstanding job helping him prepare, and his scores went up significantly, with math being near perfect. My son felt like he learned a lot too. It was well worth the money we spent. As a mother of three, we have now worked with three different SAT/ACT prep programs, and Streamline far exceeds the others.

My son ("Joe") is an excellent student in school, but his 10th grade PSAT and pre-ACT scores didn't…read morematch his academic performance. I talked to a few friends with older kids and they recommended Ian at Streamline Tutors. Joe started working with Ian in June of this year. Ian looked at his scores and decided that he is naturally better at the ACT than SAT so decided to focus on this test only. They met weekly through the summer as much as our vacation schedule allowed, with the goal of taking the October test. Joe started with prep books, and then moved on to practice tests. Before the scheduled test, Streamline offered in center simulated practice tests to help prepare for the real thing. There were many frustrating moments where Joe didn't feel like he was improving, but Ian felt confident in him and kept him focused. The big day came, and Joe walked out with a smile. He felt pretty good. The scores arrived a few weeks later and his composite score came up 4 points from baseline, including a perfect score in one subject and near perfect in two others. Receptionists were always available to direct, answer questions and greet. There is a small deli on the first floor of the building. Your receptionist has a form you can fax or return to her for speedy pickup of your lunch. Plenty of garage parking, clean restrooms, and break room areas. All instructors were professional and knowledgeable of subject matter. Associated equipment worked as intended.
