    Award winning wines

This is a difficult review to write. 3.5 would be more accurate. First, the wines are exceptionally good. The Voignier was excellent. And another full bodied red, COAX, was terrific. But why on earth have us sample them when they aren't available for purchase? Oh, I know. Join their Citizens Wine Club and get them shipped. And that's the entire focus. They pushed the club to the point we were uncomfortable. Also, the educational push was much. Georgia grapes. California grapes. Swish. Don't swish. Aerate. Don't aerate. Don't refrigerate whites. Yada yada yada. Let folks enjoy their wine any dang way they want. Don't judge. There's no right or wrong. Food? Expensive, but excellent. A sandwich is large enough to split. But there's a $6 split fee because they double the side salad and chips to two plates. That's a mandatory up charge. The small cheese plate was ample. Wines & Food? 5 stars. The hype & push took away the joy of the experience. Unfortunate. These are superb wines. Enjoy them. Just avoid sitting at the bar and the lecture that comes with it.

I had a sample of different red wines. Audacity- a bit too robust for me, but rich in flavor. The wife enjoyed it. Enabler- great taste it didn't bite, pretty smooth and worth it to slow sip it. I enjoyed it. Clos Primavera co-equal- a bit flat for me, sorry not my favorite. Primavera proclivity- it left an aftertaste and was a bit bitter We had some mozzarella cheese awesome Chicken fried rice awesome Macaroon and biscotti awesome Overall an 8.5

We recently hosted our son's wedding rehearsal dinner at Frogtown and it was everything I had hoped for! Cydney (one of the owners) helped us craft a wonderful menu and Craig selected a delicious array of wines which we loved. Dinner was delicious and beautifully plated. The arancini which were selected as an appetizer were a particular favorite of our guests. The view and landscaping made for some spectacular pictures, and the interior needed little embellishment to set the mood for an elegant and beautiful meal shared with family and friends. Thank you Craig and Cydney for a wonderful experience for our group!

The majority of my stars are for attentive service from our server Julia and the spectacular views. We had lunch and a tasting for a group of 7. Food came out quickly but many plates were cold (paninis and pizzas) and the chips were soggy and rubbery on every plate. The pizza dough was amazing and so were the desserts we had. Now to the wines......the worst we tried all day. The tastings were individual and the group consensus was that no one liked their flights. So maybe skip the wine and just enjoy lunch in between other wineries in the area. The views are gorgeous and serene. Definitely worth a visit.

The best out of 7 wineries in the area we tried. Definitely the best experience overall! We loved the service! They actually took the time to show you what they had to offer, and you didn't feel like a production line. Frogtown makes a custom tasting list for you! Super nice to try the ones you want! I hate wineries that pick which wines you are tasting for you. Frogtown will also give you fresh homemade chips to help distinguish. If you love dry/semi dry red wines you will love this place! The flavor was amazing! Glad I stopped here for my birthday! One of the best views on the deck as well.

Next stop on our wine tour. Short drive from Wolf Mountain. Parking was a little rough as we had to park all the way at the bottom of the hill. Drop everyone off and let the fittest of your group park the car and do 'the hill'! lol We were sat outside which was nice. Great views of the winery and the weather just right. We opted to try the red and white flights. Solid wines. I thought all of the reds were big and flavorful. Whites were full bodied and buttery to dry and crisp. We did not have any food but it look good but seemed a little pricey. A solid stop but would rather have just went to the bar and done a tasting but that was not allowed yet.

Nice view from the top deck

Great views, good food, and below par service. Lots of potential but poor execution here. They are obviously understaffed and disorganized when it comes to properly serving their customers. Expect to wait 15 minutes for water and 20+ minutes to pay your bill when you're done. The food itself was good, although slightly overpriced. We had a Tascano pizza and the King George panini. The wine is good as well. We had the MSV wine which was very smooth, buttery, and not too sweet. In the end, the great view, good food, and tasty wine were overshadowed by laughably bad service. Me and my fiancé got to the point where we just expected more issues and laughed as they came. Here's a list of them! 1. Took about 10 minutes to be approached by a server 2. Waters took 15 minutes 3. We were told by the waitress (without even asking) that we could be moved to a better table....then we saw someone else get seated at said table 4. Our wine glasses were fresh out of the dishwasher and hot (we were drinking white wine...) 5. We waited 25 minutes to see our server again to pay the bill 6. The server came back after we already paid and said that the transaction didn't go through because of a bad internet connection and they had to run us through the system again. At least we have a good sense of humor because the experience was comically bad. Do not recommend to my worst enemy.

Had a fabulous dinner with girls. It was their first time experiencing the wineries of Dahlonega and Monteluce was our 3rd stop. The sunset was absolutely stunning and the patio was very relaxing. Our meal was good but not great. Pretty pricey for the quality of food. Everything we ordered was tasty but nothing tasted amazing. For apps we had Focaccia Bread and Salads. Entrees: Salmon, Ribeye, and Pork Belly Tacos. Some of us split a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and that was very yummy. Looking forward to a return visit to try Trattoria downstairs!

First visit and had a great experience! We stopped in towards the end of the day, so it wasn't crowded. They have a nice tasting room, as well as a covered/enclosed patio and outdoor seating areas. They had live music the day we were there, but he was just finishing up when we sat down to taste. WINES: Tyler, owner & winemaker, poured for us and provided excellent details on his wines, the winery, and North Georgia winemaking in general. We spoke with him for quite some time, enjoying our shared tastings, and even getting to sample a couple barrel tastings of some upcoming reds. Tyler uses fruit from Georgia, as well as California, Washington, Texas, and more. He offers a wide variety of whites, reds, and dessert wines, including a couple varietals not commonly known to the everyday wine drinker. There are also wine cocktails and mocktails, should you desire something a little different. As I always say when it comes to wines, what I like/dislike may be different than you, so I suggest that you give them a try for yourselves. The quality of Accent's wines was the best we experienced on this trip to the North Georgia Wine Country, and the ambiance and service were fantastic! I highly recommend you check them out.

You'll come in and park and you'll have all the views of the greenery and the grapes, which is a really nice setting. Came in and there were some people at the wine bar and they immediately get to work. They were talking about the wine specifics and they were super friendly. It ended up ordering a flight and you get to pick several flights from the menu and they'll bring it to you. Now the flights were not specific so you could pick anything off of the menu, just about. You didn't have to stay within a certain range but there were a couple of off-limits ones. That's not a big deal because they had plenty of options. I stuck with the dry reads and they did a really good job with those but there are still plenty of options for everybody, quite honestly. There's an inside and an outside to it but I ended up staying inside by the bar in the corner just to check out the scene. There were plenty of people coming in and out just to buy wine as well because they have wine for sale obviously. It was really a full-service operation there and everybody was so friendly. It felt like it was a family-oriented situation there. Overall the experience is pretty good. I don't have any complaints about it and if you're in the area you may want to stop by. Three Sisters is a very electic place, set on a wide stretch of land with plenty of grapevines. The staff was nice and explained each of the wine choices. They had quite a few sweet options so for those that prefer a sweeter wine, this is your place. I did the $25 wine flight which is more than enough to get a good feel for what they offer. I tried their Georgia Port as my closer and it did what it was supposed to do. The property is worth a visit if you are in the area.

It's not super easy to find! Dahlonega has lots of interesting twists and turns and back alley shops and some shops blended in so well with other places, that a random door opens up to more unique experiences. So, that's how we found this place. We were waiting to get our names in for Bourbon Street Grille, and this random door behind us boasted wine tasting. I thought it was just a one room deal behind us. When you see the door and the shop, you'll fully understand. If you like wine, this is worth it and a MUCH better deal than the Wine Festival (which is what we came for). It's not a big place and technically only has about 8 seats at the bar for tasting. Thankfully, it seemed all the festival goers didn't know about this place (bc it's totally a Harry Potter hidden type of deal) so we got 4 seats. The kids roamed around the shop while we tried wine. The flights are $12/$16 based off the wines you want. They have white, red, blended and rose. Oh, check in on Yelp and receive one free taste of any wine (I used mine)!!! I did the Rose, Merlot, Vidal Blanc, Pinot Grigio, and the Petit Manseng. Loved the Merlot (had a spicy after taste) the most! Then the Pinot Grigio. The Petit Manseng is their strongest wine but was my least favorite. However, I tasted the Trillium from someone else's in our group and LOVED IT. We ended up buying a bottle of Mtn Harvest Red plus the Apfelwein (the lady described it so well and made us want to get a bottle). I can honestly say I had such a buzz from the flight that I stopped drinking when we went to go eat. The wine was really good and certainly hit, so be careful! Totally worth checking this place out, if you can find it!!!
