His fixes were spot on and really strengthened my work. They weren't just cosmetic either, we did a lot of restructuring to support the root themes of the stories and make them better. I truly cannot imagine a better experience or a more encouraging teacher. A lot of other writing teachers I've had in the past get an idea in their head of how to fix a piece and try to steamroll you into executing it, but Alex was exactly the opposite! Before this, I was trying to self-learn the language via Duolingo, and often felt stagnated. Despite going through the lessons and having a 200 day streak, I didn't feel like I was making any progress in truly understanding the language and just parroting/guessing at sentence structures. The structured classes at K-talk place an emphasis on learning grammatical structure and expanding our vocabulary with USEFUL words (looking at you Duolingo - who needs to say "the fox and the milk" in real life??) are so helpful in helping establish a solid foundation for the language. Yeorim-ssi is a great teacher and makes each lesson fun and entertaining.
