Nadya was so good with our golden doodle! Ted can be a little anxious but he hopped right in the van and wanted to go back with Nadya when they were done! As opposed to other grooming establishments I've visited. They have a small waiting area, and boutique section of doggy clothes too. Cannot wait to come back tomorrow for my dogs' appointments. I have not had a problem with my pups following grooms neither physically or emotionally, so I have continued to bring them. However this time was the last time, undoubtedly. When I arrived to pick my Yankee up I was surprised to hear that their credit card system was not working. I do not carry cash on me and since I live so close by I left my phone behind when I left to pick up my dog. The girl at the counter was kind when she asked if I could zelle the payment when I got home, which I had no problem doing. However the "manager" (Chelsea I believe was her name), apparently didn't like the idea of that. She walked over with a nasty attitude asking me "what the problem was" and told me she would not be giving me my dog until I paid. Meanwhile my puppy was screeching for me and scratching under the gate. Obviously this was not a great way to approach the situation and I told her to call her boss to take my card info and let her know I will no longer be bringing my business there because of her managers treatment of me. She had a smirk as if she could care less, which is probably the case to be honest and that's just fine. And they don't know me or all the business I have sent their way that will also follow me after such disrespect. Such a shame. This place was really great until they started hiring these kind of people. Miss the old staff! I will be trying another place next month.

Luckily Berkeley Vet was able to squeeze me in and see my dog. I was able to get him antibiotics so his condition didn't get worse over the weekend. I have switched vets since then and am grateful that they were able to help my baby on short notice. I feel their prices are a little high but they treat your pet like a human so everything does cost a lot out of pocket. I don't like the prices but I do like their service so I'm still going there.
