With a specialty retailer you think you would have the right people working to represent your brand. I would look at your staff and ask yourself "Is this the right fit for them? We politely told him no. He then asked if we were looking for a new scent or something else. My partner politely told him we were just looking and if we find something we liked we'd buy it. He then proceeded to BOMBARD us with candles "smell this" "smell that"....."do you like floral? Musky".... The guy just would not STOP. He literally followed us all over the candle section. I kept walking away from him but he was just way too persistent. Mind you, he's the SECURITY GUARD posted up in the candle side of the store. I got so annoyed I told my partner I wanted to leave. When other patrons came into the candle section he barely paid them ANY attention at all. I've never been in a store where a SECURITY GUARD acted as a sales associate. Maybe he thought we were going to steal the very large 3 wick candles in our leggings or something. Very unpleasant experience.
