I have been going here for a couple years now and would highly recommend it. I see Deb Vu and she's great! When I first came in I was struggling with acne on my face and back, as well as rosacea on my face and scarring. She helped find the correct medication and treatments for me - even checking my medications to make sure they were allowed for me to use (some are restricted due to my job). My skin has improved tremendously. She also does not push for unnecessary treatments. The office space is always clean and the receptionist/professionals have always been kind and helpful. Yesterday, I had a really great experience as a new patient with Dr. Stacey Warren. The clinic was clean, welcoming, and had a friendly atmosphere from the moment I walked in. I completed the check-in electronically before the appointment, which made everything super smooth when I arrived. The receptionist was helpful, and the overall vibe was just very positive. Dr. Warren was high energy, friendly, and took the time to really listen to my concerns. She answered all my questions and made the whole experience feel personal and professional. The treatment itself went smoothly--very minimal discomfort, and I was seen quickly (maybe a couple of minutes)... Awsome!. I did notice there are a number of negative reviews here, and honestly, I'm not sure why. I can only speak from my own experience, but as a new patient, I'm very happy with the care I received and would absolutely recommend them. read more

Deb Vu is just terrible. She and everyone from the Federal Way clinic that I spoke to afterwards interrupted and talked over me. Informed consent is extremely lacking, as I was notified post non-emergent procedure of scarring, and I learned *after* leaving that I would need to avoid being active for the next 48 hours. The appointment was rushed, I was literally laughed at, and I heard her groan and sigh loudly before entering my room. When I did ask about the biopsy procedure and scarring, I was talked down to and made to feel like I was being ridiculous for even asking or being upset. I was not asked consent before the biopsy, and was not communicated the process or risks of the process beforehand. I did not feel comfortable asking questions or saying no, and I left feeling very distraught, stressed out, and in pain. read more

I had a TERRIBLE experience here with Deb Vu. The whole appointment was extremely rushed even though it was 3 hours before close and I came early. I heard her groan and sigh before swiftly knocking and opening the door to my exam room. She rushed through introducing herself, took a brief look at an infected site I had, and immediately stated to the nurse helping her, not me, that she needed to take a biopsy. At one point she openly laughed in my face, which of course put me more on edge. Informed consent goes a long way, and not once did I feel comfortable saying no, asking questions, nor was I informed of the full extent of this procedure. I found out after getting home that I would not be able to be active for 2 days, and found out post procedure, again after *I* asked, that there would be scarring. When I asked this, Deb was very rude and insinuated that my concern didn't matter and that I was being difficult for feeling upset about this. There was zero explanation of what was going to happen other than *me* asking if they were going to cut into my foot, which she did. I left feeling extremely distraught, in pain, and stressed out. This is by far the worst medical experience I have ever had, including other surgical procedures. Do not make appointments here if you want to feel more like a patient than a number, or if you value informed consent and good bedside manner. read more

Stacey Warren was ice cold and seems to have a superiority complex. She didn't introduce herself, never cracked a smile, acted like I was an idiot and was rushed. A prison warden is probably more friendly. Her nurse was only slightly better. I was disturbed and kept replaying the deplorable bedside manner for a few days as I was shocked that anyone can be that unhappy and in a public service field. The phone staff was very friendly when I initially made a follow up appointment, but when I called a 2nd time the person was rushed and just wanted to get the call over with before it even started. One review described her as high energy. There is no way we are talking about the same person. I will not be returning. read more

When I came in for my appointment, didn't seem too bad. Could have been more inviting atmosphere. Was called back and I immediately felt weird/bad vibes. Assistant who brought me back came off as being rushed. Walked past another staff member sitting at a desk and got weird/off vibes as well. Prior to me being called back I heard happy and uplifting voices talking about personal lives - but I soon learned that it was just staff chit chatting. When was seen by PA Stacy Warren, again, very rushed. When you are asked questions it's like they can't wait to say something else again and almost cut you off. This was the most rushed appointment I have ever had with a dermatologist. Only one other time in my life have I felt rushed and this one took the cake. It's like they couldn't wait to get this appointment over with soon enough. I will not be going back at all. I've been here 3x (Keizer, Oregon) and the Doc(Joel) and other staff members are fantastic to work w/and and took care of two different problems for me; I'm going back today and I like the way you can pre-check-in and pre-pay(they don't take it out till your appointment)making everything smooth and hassle-free. Very disappointed with the staff at the Federal Way, WA office. They can make patients wait 15 minutes and patients don't have a choice but to sit and wait. Yet, the minute a patient is 10 minutes late (with letting the office know that they would be late), they can't wait for you. In other words, their time is more important than the patients' time. Plus, the forms are ridiculous and ask the same questions on each form - apparently, they need multiple forms with the same information in order to understand. No wonder their time is more valuable than ours. We will not be returning. It is a shame that they make us wait yet they can't wait for us, even when we show up within the allotted grace period on top of letting them know we were running late. read more

This place is fraudulent. They rush you through the service and then they send suprise billing for overpriced lab work. I went in for toenail fungus because I'm an athlete and wear Tennis shoes a lot while working out, I've had this treated on and off for years, i was actually shocked that they wanted to do a lab. When I got the bill for the overpriced lab (Never paid that much for a routine lab) i understood why they wanted to do an unnecessary lab. This is a money making scam stay away. read more

First, I want to say that the office staff and assistant I encountered were friendly and helpful but dealing with the PA Stacey Warren was a different story. No formalities or attempt to provide a warm or welcoming patient experience as a new patient. In my opinion, straight up rude. I wanted to walk out within the first couple minutes because I knew I could get better service elsewhere. But she got me and I'll have to pay money for 5 minutes of the worse customer service ever. After being very specific with what I wanted to have done, I went in for my consultation only to be told "We don't do that here - you have to go to Everett." Okay, fine. No harm done, though someone might have, at some point, caught that BEFORE I drove all the way there. BUT, of course, with shady medical scams that are constantly changing their name to avoid litigation, it can't be that simple... Oh, no, because they have the effing AUDACITY to now send me a bill for my procedure... you know, the one they don't do there, and didn't do, at ANY time or location. Hi. I am very happy with my visit and after care. I had 4 specific skin questions and also wanted an all-over skin exam. Easily made appointment by telephone.Reminder-texts were sent to my mobile phone. The entrance to SFD is on the left side of the building. Everyone I met was pleasant and professional. All my questions were answered clearly. While driving home, My Pharmacy called with the news my Rx was ready for pickup. Later in the day, I was able to see my visit-report and my diagnoses for all my skin questions. I will be returning for a checkup next year. read more

At the age of 65, it was the first time seeing a Dermatologist and from the time I entered the building to going back to my room with a nurse and then meeting the Dr., it was the BEST customer service that I have received in a long time from ALL staff in one building. To start, the MA that took me in asked what my concerns were, but didnt even wait for me to finish telling her my concerns. When the provider came in she only wanted to address the things that the MA wrote down before dashing out. The provider I saw - Stacy Warren was rude. Get anyone besides her if possible. Clearly she was busy (as everyone in healthcare is), but she was talking a mile a minute & talking over me (I feel like I could barely formulate my questions or answers because she was rushing through everything). Keep in mind she was barely in my room. When I asked to address another question, she repeated THREE times "schedule another appointment with me because I have no time to talk about it". Very unprofessional. Why would I schedule another appointment with someone who was in my room barely listening to my concerns for 5-10 minutes & then tells me she has no time? Very unprofessional. Horrrrrrible the doctor didn't even touch my face. When I asked questions he stood with his hands behind his back. What kind of skin doctor stands at least three feet away from you with their hands behind their backs?! I went into the office and I asked three questions, all ADVICE QUESTIONS and within one minute I realized it wasn't something covered by insurance because it was cosmetic and that was it, I left quickly! WHEN I WAS BILLED They said they do not provide free consultations and charged my insurance company the full price that my family friend was charged for having surgery!!!!!!! Do not go here. I wish would've read yelp reviews before coming here. First off my appointment was at 1:40 and I didn't get pulled back until 2:05. I told the woman checking me in about all the things I needed help with. She said well your appointment is 25 minutes behind so I don't think we'll get to all that today. How is that my problem?? I was on time for my appointment and I expect to be seen, not rushed out. The doctor was okay, wasn't super helpful. Again I felt very rushed. I was supposed to get a call from my pharmacy about my prescription to get mailed to me. It's been two weeks since my appointment and haven't heard a thing. Called the office a week after my appointment to check, they said they would "resend it" sounds like they forgot. Just called today again and they said that I can just go into pick it up and it isn't a mail prescription. Which is not what the dermatologist told me. I told the receptionist I wasn't comfortable with being exposed to possible covid symptoms and was told it could be an allergy. So she was allowed to remain for her appointment coughing & hacking.... and just because someone has allergies or has been vaccinated that doesn't guarantee they don't also have covid. read more

After 2 visits enough was enough. I found this office to be very unprofessional and incompetent. I have a long list of grievances against the Physicians Assistant I saw but I'll just talk about a few. Mainly, she had no bed side manner, did not talk over treatment plans or options with me and she didn't ask any health related questions before prescribing me medications that could have caused serious harm to my unborn child had I not done my own homework after getting the prescription. She even nearly biopsied my PIMPLE when she mistook it for the MOLE I'd seen her about just 2 weeks prior!!! I mean seriously!!! Read my chart lady! Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. I really like the ARNP I dealt with. This review should NOT reflect HER performance as a provider whatsoever!!!! My problem is with customer service and the phone system. There is no way to get ahold of the local office. Actually, there really is NO WAY to get ahold of ANYONE. I've left messages - several - and they don't call back. I would like to see the company get rid of the system they are using - based in Oregon - and be more customer friendly. My husband was supposed to have a prescription sent to his pharmacy, it wasn't there. I have left messages but they don't respond or return phone calls. Pharmacy has tried also. Very disappointed with this "system". Will probably have to go back Puyallup for my dermatologist. So sad. Like I said, we really like Geneva. Hate their customer service on the phone!!!!! read more

I had a mole biopsied and was told I would hear back within a week or two. After three weeks and no communication, I called the office myself. There is no way to actually call your particular office directly. You have to go through the call center. I reached someone at the call center, and they said they would call my office directly to connect me with someone. Well, no one was available, so they told me I would get a return call right away. I waited a couple more hours, and decided to call back before the end of business. There was no answer, so I left a detailed voicemail with all of my information. By the following afternoon, I still had not heard back from anyone so I wrote an email asking for a call back about my biopsy. By the third day, I still had not heard back from anyone so I called yet again. They finally connected me with someone in my office, who apologized. But then they reviewed my diagnosis with every medical term they could possibly find. Just a poorly run business with no actual understanding of how to handle communication - period. Stay away from Silver Falls Dermatology. Poor, poor service. read more

I'm giving two stars because they are friendly and I do like my daughter's doctor, but if you're insurance ends up needing a pre-auth, good luck! They will take forever to send it and you will not get your medication. In our case, it's accutane, so we have twice run out on our 6 day window to pick it up because the insurance never received a pre-auth despite my many reminder calls. I have had fantastic results with the Silver Falls Dermatology office in Aberdeen, Wa. The front office go above and beyond to help with my mother and they are very receptive to her needs. The Doctor and nurse that we saw were wonderful! They too were very calm and receptive to her needs. I love going here because the appointments are already stressful just getting my mom there, and I instantly calm down when I walk into the office, knowing that nothing is going to happen that they won't help me with. Great people! They are also very knowledgeable concerning her medical issue. I trust them completely. read more

I had an awful rash on my neck, arms and scalp. I wasn't sleeping because of the intense itching. My first visit was pleasant, I got in quickly. Jennifer Smith, the nurse practitioner prescribed a shampoo for my scalp and a cream. I was told to come back in 2 weeks. I went home and within 2 days the rash was going away, the itching stopped and I started sleeping again. I am so thankful for the excellent care I was given. Thank you Jennifer. I called the make an appointment and instead of receiving an appointment I was met with very rude staff to the point I just said never mind, I will find a new doctor. Terrible service and the people who work there were constantly misinformed about my plan and medication. They cost me a lot of time with unnecessary appointments and having to get blood work done multiple times on several different occasions. They kept filling my prescription incorrectly or calling it in to pharmacies that weren't even able to get it for me. I spent hours and hours and hours on the phone trying to handle what they were supposed to do, talking to my insurance company, different pharmacies and other Silver Falls offices because they didn't know what they were doing at all. Ive been coming in for one issue and kept coming in to get treated for the SAME issue. Called billing department and was told they'll go through my information and give me a call back. I am very satisfied with my recent service at Silver Falls Dermatology. Fawn is great and so personable. Her friendly staff from the front to the back office made me feel at ease. Plus, she did not insist on shaving my head during some scalp cyst removals. As a middle aged woman, I greatly appreciate this! ;-) I plan on returning to them at their location on Martin Way in Olympia for any of my skin concerns and recommend them to anyone seeking a good dermatologist in the area. And trust me when I say, Fawn Ross is an excellent Dermatology-Trained Nurse Practitioner! I have often found Nurse Practitioners to be very caring and knowledgeable and Fawn Ross, FNP definitely is. For any of the bad reviews I have read about Silver Falls, ie: not taking phone calls or some of the poor customer service... please cut them a little slack! I have a couple of things to say about this clinic. First off I had to wait for 7 weeks to get in for a new patient appointment for acne. I get there today and they tell me the doctor had to cancel today for personal reasons and that they left me a message. I never got a message. I tell her this and she checks my number on file they wrote down is wrong and they got my email extremely wrong thus i wasn't notified. We redo my number and email. I told her iv been waiting for weeks to get in and she says they can get me in at 1:30 with the same doctor I was originally scheduled with (weird I know) she tells me that she'll email me paper work and if I don't get it to come back earlier so that I can fill it out in person, I tell her I'll try but that this is the only day iv had off and will have off from work for a while and have six other appointments to make it too. So I rush from one appointment to another and get to my appointment right at 1:30 and the same receptionist makes a snide comment about how I should of gotten there earlier to fill out paperwork. (Ha. Well, y'all shouldn't of canceled my freakin original appointment last minute either!) I get back and the doctor comes in and I felt as if she didn't really ask me enough questions or listen to me and it was a super quick in and out visit. I kind of gave up in the appointment at this point given how crappy the entire experience was to begin with but decided since i waited so long to get in, I might as well give it a go. My medication was sent to some weird pharmacy that I don't use and they said the pharmacy would text me with instructions about how to get my meds, but I never got a text about it. Over all I'm extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and so upset that I waited so long for this when my acne hurts me and makes me emotionally distraught as it's not the prettiest to look at. I came to Silver Falls Dermatology because of an infected mole on my chin . The medical assistant was very friendly and out going , maybe me feel welcomed with her greeting and warm smile . The PAC Wagner was wonderful . She gave me two different options on the removal of my mole . I have a little light patch were my mole was but it looks so much better than that infected mole . I will be back to get my other 2 removed . read more
