I could not be happier with my entire experience with the Frontier folks. After not visiting a chiropractor in decades, it was long past time to address my long list of health and mobility issues with a holistic approach. At the top of my wish list was a desperate wish to get relief from symptoms related to my sliding hiatal hernia and GERD, so I am now in my fourth week of receiving visceral manipulation treatments with Dr. Ottomeyer. I am thrilled to finally get relief from numerous stubborn symptoms that have plagued me for years related to this condition. Miracles do happen! After I complete this series of treatments, I plan to move on to address other ailments as well as begin seeing Dr. O in his capacity as a functional medicine practitioner. I look forward to each and every visit, not only because I'm so excited to see the continued progress with my hernia/GERD issues, but also because Dr. O just seems so genuinely happy to see me. The visits go quickly, but oddly, they never, ever feel rushed. I feel like he listens intently to every word I say, and he always has thoughtful, meaningful responses and advice that I'm happy to follow. And my satisfaction doesn't end there. The entire staff is a pure delight to deal with, from the moment I enter the building until I leave. I'd like to give a special shout-out to Jennifer for going above and beyond last Friday when she realized I was having a needy moment. She's an angel! All of the staff have been wonderful to deal with, whether it's on the phone or in person. They make each and every patient feel like they have VIP status. You can't ask for better than that. And as if that's not enough, the price for "all the things" is amazingly affordable. I'm so happy to have discovered this place! Went for the first time on Saturday 4/14 per my wife's recommendations, which we all know as married talk for your going to this chiropractor on Saturday. To give you a little bit of a background I been getting my back adjusted for over 15 years now, multiple reasons as to why. To keep it short, while in the Navy I fell off of a plane while washing it. I been in multiple car accidents with none being my fault, in all honesty this is true just a string of bad luck. There were approximately 3 car accidents that affected my back, 1 was being rear ended and the other 2 I was side swiped, yes that is odd. So with that being said I have some experience with chiropractors. To add I had a ruptured aneurysm which caused some scar tissue on my neck that gives me shoulder pain from time to time as well so being careful around my neck/large head is crucial. Needless to say my first visit I was like man they are being a little bit too careful about my issues and made me think are they even going to be able to adjust me. Well the answer to that is yes they were and then some. Dr. Jake was the gentleman who did my adjustment and did a wonderful job. I'm not just saying this to be nice I truly mean it, his adjustments were right on point. He pointed out every tension, every bone out of place, so to say, then carried on about how he plans on treating it. His first recommendation was to show up twice a week, which I get but to be honest can't afford. Keep in mind even though a good Doctor wants nothing but the best for you, you as a person/patient hold responsibilities on yourself. So for now I will keep my once a week adjustments until I'm straighten out, ba da bump, then I will start a realistic approach and maintain a once a month ordeal or possibly twice. My 15-year-old son, Lucas, suffered a hamstring injury about a year ago, and we never knew exactly how it happened. We first tried another chiropractor, but unfortunately, it didn't help. Then we went to physical therapy, thinking he simply needed to stretch the muscle, but that only made his pain worse. Eventually, we found an amazing functional medicine doctor who had Lucas completely rest to allow his hamstring to heal. After about six months, he had made progress, but he still couldn't do the things a normal 15-year-old should be able to do. At that point, the doctor recommended finding a chiropractor to help with the next stage of his recovery. I prayed for God to lead us to the right place, and He brought us to Frontier Integrated Healthcare. Dr. Ottomyer took a completely different approach and recommended spinal decompression therapy. He was the first doctor to recognize that Lucas's back could be contributing to his ongoing hamstring pain. Frontier is a very friendly chiropractic office that offers a wide range of services to treat the whole patient. First their chiropractors are top notch. They can help with aches pains plus seasonal and food allergies. I am a walking medical mystery. Dr. Ottomyer listen to my symptoms with empathy and understanding. He came up with tests and a treatment plan that really works. I have been to a number of MDs and Specialist with digestive issues. Been doing TRT for 14 weeks now. It's been a great experience so far. Everything you would hope for more energy, better overall mood, increased strength, increased libido, lean muscle building, and more fat loss. You definitely have to put in the work (exercise and proper diet) however TRT will give you the motivation to push yourself.
