Last weekend, I came here at 8pm with my brother and told them the name of the order we were to pick up. The place is clean, bright and cutely decorated for the holidays. When the guy comes back from the back and presented the order.. we were so surprised and laughed aloud! All I knew was that my mom ordered a turkey ice cream cake.. The way I imagined it, it was the kind that had a turkey face doodled ontop of a brown cake with feathers peeked on. But not this one!! This one was actually presented and appared to be an actual turkey plate served for Thanksgiving. We got home and it even shocked my dad, who my mom got it as a surprise for, to celebrate their anniversary. He thought it was a plastic turkey. The cake ended up tasting delicious, with the caramel glaze layered ontop crunching with the sweet cookies n' creme ice cream filling underneath. If Vallarta weren't closer to me, I'd probably buy my pastries from here much more often. Everything I've tried has been fresh, tasty, and very satisfying. The ladies working there are also incredibly sweet and get you taken care of quickly. The only thing I didn't love was the location and the shop itself. The bakery is pretty worn down and dingy, and the place does have that older smell to it. Still, this is a great little shop if you're looking for fresh, tasty pastries at fair prices. The baked goods are definitely worth trying.
