This place is in Dade City which we took the back road from Lutz to get there. It made for a nice drive, not much traffic and the roads were smooth. Keep in mind that there is 1 way in and 1 way out. Also want to put in the disclaimer that if you have a low car or a car you may want to take it very easy when exiting -- the exit has a DEEP dip in the ground and isn't level to the road so if you don't go out at the right angle, you're going to get stuck. Next time we will definitely bring my SUV versus my hubs Dodge Charger. When you arrive, you park over on the side where they have signage indicating parking. Upon arriving, don't just go out and start picking unless you're familiar w/the process. Visit the small table they have setup near the large oak tree for a bag to fill with your peaches. They have 2 groves available --- 1 for more sweet peaches and 1 for more tangy peaches. We were probably out there a good 30-40 minutes and visited both groves. I wanted the sweet ones and my daughter wanted the tangy ones. These peaches are rather small compared to the peaches you've ever had from Georgia or from the grocery store. They do allow you to sample the peaches while picking -- just pick the peach and eat it! That's the best part. :) We ended up spending $30 for 2 bags which was actually ALOT of peaches. We did find it hard to find peaches that were ready to pick and looked good....the trees all seemed a bit picked over, which may be due to the timing as well. Perhaps if you go earlier in the season you'd have better luck in finding better peaches. They also went bad REALLY fast. Within 3 days, we had to throw a lot of them out given they were bad. Next year we'll go earlier in the season for better quality. I will give them 3 star though -- the people working there are extremely friendly and the groves are clean and allow for distancing while picking. They do have another grove not that far away which I think we'll try the next time we go. Restroom needed while there, have no fear --- they have a portable potty available.

They offer several types of u-pick fruits, veggies and sunflowers at different times of the year. They have a fun zone area and food trucks. The only thing I don't see on this farm are animals. I love that they allow the 5K races at least once a year. With those races, you usually get blueberry pancakes and a pint container to pick your own blueberries from at least 6 fields. There were 2 available to pick from when we were there. Plump and sweet blueberries are to be had if you know how to pick them. Don't let the bees scare you off. Leave them alone and you will be fine, unless someone in the next aisle pissed them off. They have peaches, sunflowers and strawberries to pick as well. I noticed the map also shows veggies but not sure when or which kind are available but nice to know. I love the observation deck above the gift shop. Amazing views of the farm and surrounding land with plenty of seating to take it all in while you enjoy a cup of coffee from the gift shop. I hope they can hang on to this land once the developments continue closing in on this rare property.

The waters that were offered were warm and the service was slow. Not ideal when wrangling a ; year old birthday party. The "world famous" strawberry milkshakes live up to the hype and are well worth any wait in line. I love how creamy they are and the fact that they include chunks of strawberries. Don't sleep on just a plain bowl of strawberries with whipped cream either. I normally find myself wanting more strawberries after a milkshake, and the bowl of strawberries is the perfect compliment. As for the lines, they can be pretty long. But they do a really good job at making the lines move quickly. The prices are also very reasonable. The market also has all sorts of fresh veggies, fruits, and strawberry related items, like jams, breads, and even cookies!

I was driving from Tampa to Orlando in August and saw a bunch of signs for the "world famous" strawberry shortcake but couldn't get any :( there should really be a sign that details when the shortcake is available if it isn't going to be available year round but those signs are. It was pretty disappointing not being able to have it. I opted to get a strawberry bread (apparently it's always season for that) when I was there and it was really good! I wasn't quite in the mood for a milkshake, but the milkshakes are supposedly good here as well. Besides the strawberry treats, there is a whole store inside with a variety of jams, hot sauces, and merchandise as well as fresh fruit and veggies for sale. The seating area is really adorable (you can see it in the picture I posted). I guess I'll just have to come back during shortcake season to let you know if it's worth the "world famous" title.

Maybe it didn't really sell well and they had to go with sodas which always sell wonderfully because people are addicted to sugar inside is quaint and is a good place to hang out it's nice and quiet in there in the morning on a weekday, it was Friday. I saw some people showing up as I was leaving, so it gets a little bit of a crowd. I imagine just from all the people that live close by in the neighborhood already tried the raw milk and it was delicious. I don't know why so many people like milk flavored water that they get at the grocery store with all the enzymes and nutrients boiled out of it so the last longer Try raw milk everybody it won't kill you. Unless you're lactose intolerant and then geez, what is wrong with you back to the Starkey market? It's a good place. There's not a lot of that kind of thing around that area so I imagine they draw people from all around if I were you I'd stop by and check it out. Oh yeah and there's a craft beer bar next-door the barn I haven't never been in there, but it's always packed on the weekends so they must have something right going on there.

I called them and they took my order over the phone. I ordered 2 lbs of blueberries and they were $6/ pound. I'm happy to have such sweet yummy local blueberries right off the blueberry tree. They also sell blueberry plants, jellies, jams, and blueberry syrup. It's definitely worth a trip! It's cash and credit and it's the easiest transaction ever. Just drive up to their table at their farm and they will have your blueberries ready for you!

I believe this place recently moved, so Apple Maps has the location about a half mile up but I just followed the signs and it was easy to find! Every employee we encountered was so kind, welcoming and just amazing! They were all so detailed in their answers if you asked questions and just wanted to help and be informative. The monster truck tour was AMAZING! Ranger Jack was really funny, informative and so kind to my 8 year old who has autism that I came here with. We learned so much about all the different animals they have here, it is a great fun, learning experience for kids. The whole experience overall is one my daughter will remember! It's definitely a great stop and worth the money!

As a FL native myself, I really do appreciate that. They feature a wide variety of animals from pigs to donkeys to peacocks and capybaras and allow you to purchase food to feed most of them. And of course the main attraction is the school bus monster truck tour, which I have also done on a separate trip and loved. If you happen to be opening to driving out past Clermont, I highly recommend stopping by!

When we picked last year it was pretty picked out so we wanted to be there at the beginning of the season. Finally saw an ad in the paper announcing the opening at Sat. morning. There we were, ready to pick and I asked the owner if the bushes had a lot of fruit. I was then informed that they had already been picked for the commercial market. Once that happens the u-picks open. Whatever was left was fair game. Here we go again. To make a long story short it took a little over an hour to pick 5 lbs. priced at $3 per pound it seems a good deal when the supers are asking $5 for one of those little cartons. The berries are awesome but you have to look for the ripe ones. Pretty sure we'll be going back real quick for another bucket. Can't have enough, we love everything blueberry.

Cost for berries was $20 for a gallon bucket full. Compare that to grocery prices. And one special thing they did that others have not is put a harness on you to attach the bucket to. Sure made picking a lot easier. If you enjoy picking your own fruit, give this farm a try. Well worth it.
