We've driven by Showcase of Citrus a half dozen times and never really given much thought to visiting. After our trip, I really regret not going sooner. What an amazing little gem of a place. It's the kind of roadside attraction reminiscent of old Florida, but that history hasn't managed to forget. Thank goodness! This is a great attraction for the whole family. Lots of animals, play areas for the kids, and a ride around the farm in a monster truck/bus to view old citrus groves and search for Bigfoot. For me, the best part was the opportunity to interact with Lemurs and Capybaras. This was the best part of visit! Don't pay those absurd prices for those 'Capybara Cafes' popping up where $100 get you coffee in a room with them. Here, for a fraction of the cost, you get up close contact and interaction. The animal interactions fill up quickly, so get there early. read more

Don't let the name confuse there is so much more to see and do here beyond oranges and you-pick opportunities. The ambiance starts with a dirt road and the adventure unfolds from there. Whether you take advantage of their Groupon discounts or pay the going rate for the monster truck safari tour it is a bargain. In fact, there is no entry fee if you and your family want to check out the various things that are offered. Kids and grown kids enjoy feeding the animals. The feed offerings include pails of various sizes full of fresh sliced vegetables and big heads of lettuce. What my grandkids did use for the farm animals, they reserved for the safari feed. Even though we took the last ride of the day the more exotic animals still came near or up to the monster truck to receive an evening dessert. The food pavilion has a variety of offerings and cold flavorful slushies.No parking fee, free admission, animals and food..why not give it a look-see and spend $$ on what pay-for activities tickle your fancy. read more

We thoroughly enjoyed our outing at showcase of Citrus. We love interacting with all the animals, especially the capybara's. We also took a ride on the monster truck, which was a little disappointing as it was just a ride around the farm and we thought it was very pricey. I would say that this outing is geared mostly towards younger children. There is also a gift shop with fruit wines, honey candies, cookies, and a myriad of different things to purchase. I would definitely go back again, but maybe on a cooler day. read more

A great family destination! We first learned about Showcase of Citrus from Blippi and couldn't wait to visit. It ended up exceeding our expectations. Admission is free, and you can enjoy the playground and see the animals at no cost. We decided to purchase the animal feed bucket and take the Monster Truck Adventure, I highly recommend, 10/10 for families! My kids love monster trucks, and this experience was a hit. The guided tour takes you through the orange groves while letting you feed and interact with all kinds of animals from the truck. We saw zebras, ostriches, and water buffalo, one had even welcomed a new baby just the day before! Even after the tour, we still had leftover food and were able to feed the ponies, pigs, chickens, cows, and more at the farm. For an extra treat, you can feed a capybara or see the kangaroos up close. Orange groves once covered much of Florida, but now only a few remain, so it feels great to support a family-run business like this. This experience reminded me of my childhood. We can't wait to come back during orange-picking season. Right now, they're also hosting their own pumpkin patch, complete with fun photo ops that our kids loved. The staff was so kind. One sweet employee even offered to take our family pictures. On top of all that, Showcase of Citrus has a bar with seasonal drinks and a small food menu. Don't miss the boiled peanuts (my personal favorite!) or the refreshing orange slushie. If your a spooky lover, they are also doing scary monster truck rides at night! Had the pleasure of going into the little store and taste sample of wine! What a hidden gem indeed of local honey, sauces and wine. The young girl employee got me real good and had me sample wine. First of all, I love this place It's popular family-friendly place, like 30 minutes away from Disney. They do have a lot of things like working citrus farm, outdoor adventure park (including an big off-road bus) that you see animals You can pick oranges, grapefruits, lemons, and other seasonal citrus directly from the trees (when available) The country store it's amazing, you can get local products and they do have many sodas that I never saw before. The do have an experience to pet animals (pay separately) or they do sell fresh vegetables so you can feed the animals. They do have some food truck over there (I tried once and was too oily) But the bar area it's great, this time I just had some drafts (about 8 bucks each) Definitely kids will enjoy, if you don't have, just go for the vibe and enjoy some drinks with good music. read more

Such a fun experience here yesterday celebrating Valentine's Day with my family. Our daughter absolutely loved all the animals and she's just very much a animal lover anyway. We decided to go with the big bucket which was about $24 and got to feed throughout the park animals from farm animals two camels and bison. We loved walking around and she loved the playground. Wish we had the option spend some one-on-one time with the capybaras, but they were sold out for the day. We did love the big monster truck experience. read more

The decor is very rustic and tractor themed but with a lot of nostalgic items as well. Plenty for kids and the adults. We also paid for the private tour with the capybara and got to feed him as well. The guide was informative and patient with our small group. We had a few drinks for the tractor bar which was fun themed but did not try any food. I went with my husband and 2 boys ( one a toddler the other a baby ;)). And we all had a good time. Even though is really hot outside right now for outdoor activities. This farm has good shady areas and breezy conditions. Really good homemade ice cream and the regular already made ones too. Clean restrooms, and clean facility in general. Lots of animals to feed. Came here on the weekend with my sister mom and my babygirl. There was free parking and it's free to come in not like other pumpkin patches/farm in the Orlando area which I loved. There was plenty of photo ops and animals you could see without an additional charge however you could pay to feed them. They had pigs, tortoise , kangaroo, capybara etc. food and drinks both non alc and alc available à la carte. A gift shop available too and they sell wine and jams too. What an incredible experience for both adults and kids! There were so many animals to feed and interact with. They provide brushes so you can gently brush the animals. The capybara encounter was a dream come true for me--easily a top 3 bucket list moment! Getting up close with them was unforgettable. A huge shoutout to Jojo, who made the experience even better. Loved this farm! The trucks are so cool with the huge wheels, my daughter loved it. We got to see and feed camels, buffalos, pigs and some more animals. The trucks rides are about 40 minutes or so but additionally there are some farm animals in the entrance and restaurants. It's free to visit, but there's a charge for some activities Showcase of Citrus is surrounded by citrus trees, which I think you can pick seasonally. There's a monster truck ride. Highly recommend this place for family adventures. No entrance fee but the monster ride tour cost is about $25/adults and $15/kids. For the size of the place they had plenty of different kinds of animals. They also have a playground for the kiddos. The kids loved the cotton candy machine. Our children from age 3 to 13 had a wonderful experience from feeding the animals to picking the "pineapple oranges". *The only downside is there is a plant in the Orange Grove that is toxic and packs a punch of pain when touched called Heartleaf nettle please beware!!! In the beginning of October I went to the showcase of citrus with my fiancé. We tried the Apple cider frozen drink, played some ping pong and looked at pumpkins. They've moved locations so now they're off jarell road off of 27. This place has absolutely everything from fall activities to feeding animals- it also has a Kangaroo and capybaras!!! After a couple of days at Universal, we were in the mood for something different. A colleague of mine recommended Showcase of Citrus, and we decided the drive was worth it (about 50 minutes in traffic from Universal). Showcase of Citrus is kind of hard to describe succinctly. It's a 2,500 acre estate cultivating 50 varieties of citrus. You can pick your own citrus (you pay a fee, they hand you bag, they drive you to the areas with ready to pick citrus, and you pick until your bag is full). They also have monster trucks (looked fun for kids), a country store (I tried and bought some local honey), some animals you can feed, and more! On a pretty day, it's a lovely place to spend a few hours! The staff were all really lovely, and I have no regrets about the time we spent in the car to get there! read more

Located in Clermont on the side of the road is Showcase of Citrus! Wasn't intended to come but saw this place while driving so I pulled over and checked it out! You can pick your own oranges which I did not. They also have a Monster Truck ride also which I did not. They have a bar inside and a bunch of craft beer in the fridge, along with tourist things to buy like soaps, little Florida toys and much more. They also have a little mini farm, that you can feed the animals. If you are hungry they have 3-5 food trucks depending on the day you go so you can order from the food trucks and sit outside at a picnic table to eat. I recommend wearing closed toed shoes because there are a lot of ants and bugs everywhere. read more

Came on a Sunday and well expected so much more than what it was. Our tour guide was Excellent so friendly and informative. However, I thought there would be more wild animals like lions, tigers, etc. There was a camel, some bison, a lot of cows, a few farm animals and that was it in a nutshell for 3 adults on the Monster Truck Safari Tour it was $75!!! That's insane, luckily we got the kids tickets on groupon for $13 because anything more would be way too much. There were souvenir shops overly priced, a bar and a slushy/ ice cream area. We went in October and Pick Your Own was not open yet. Because of that - not much else to do here except for 4x4 tour. The 4x4 tour was $25 per person (October'23) and lasted about 45 minutes. The tour - you get a history of the farm and orange groves, a trip through "Big Foot Country " and then a tour of the exotic animals kept at the back of the farm where you also learn about their sustainability efforts. We did not go on the monster truck tour and the U-pick oranges was not available. It was cold and rainy, but despite that, the area was pleasant for what it is. An outdoor petting zoo, indoor fruit stand, souvenir shop, and tourist stop. There was live music and a bar that had beverages and ice cream. The staff was pleasant. Without the truck tour, it probably was a 2 hour stop to leisurely visit all the animals, shop, and have a drink. Not much more than that. Lots of kitschy photo opportunities. So I thought my nephew was making things up when he wanted to go on the "monster school bus." After speaking to my sister in law, she mentioned the word "citrus." I started thinking to myself, "What is this place?" After a little research, I pre-purchased tickets for a tour on the bus. My nephew and I got there a little early to see the other animals, and to enjoy a treat before the tour. They had items for both adults and children. I had to get one of their fresh mimosas and my nephew opted for a Spongebob Squarepants popcicle. Our tour guide was so kind and informative. He explained how the grove operates and made a few stops for us to feed the zebras and the cows. That was our favorite part. Honestly I did not think I would enjoy this place once it was recommended to me, but decided to give it a try. Why not? I am so glad we did! We spent probably between 4-6 hours here! There is so much to do. You can pick your own citrus, you can go on a monster truck tour around the orange grove, they have a bar and food trucks and of course a cute shop and a play ground for the kids. Our monster truck driver and your guide Tehya was great! She made jokes and kept us all on the edge of our feet trying to find those alligators in their property. She made the experience a lot of fun, while giving out information that I did not know. Alligators regrow their teeth every year and they only need to eat once every few years. The tour guide makes frequent stops to share important information about the things we tend to take for granted or didn't know. We learned many things about farm animals, exotic animals, the farm history, and a ton about oranges. After the tour we decided to take in the farm, and enjoy ourselves before heading home. We waited around for the live music. While we waited we had a few beers from the bar, and ordered food from the trucks. I went with a Cuban sandwich, which was cooked perfectly. I was afraid it might be too greasy being a truck sandwich but it wasn't. The fries were also cooked just right, and had great flavor. It did take quite awhile to get the food which I thought was weird because I was the only one at the truck, but I can't complain because it came out fresh and hot. After eating we sat, and listened to the live music which was in the perfect setting. Beautiful blue sky, the smell of citrus wafting from the farm from a perfect breeze. After having a few beers we decided to purchase tickets, and go orange picking so that we could make some fresh orange juice. Took us about 30 minutes but we found the perfect oranges. We, of course, stopped, and fed all the animals the remainder of our bucket before leaving. Our favorite was definitely the camel. He will eat anything. Overall, this adventure was the best recommendation. We spent the entire day there, and did more than just eat or drink. We had an experience worth talking about, and recommending to everyone we meet in the future.
