A lot has changed in a year since being at the farm. I am glad they are doing well. They have expanded in their agriculture and event space. They even added a walk way pavement around the carnival rides. Sadly the service we received at the birthday party we attended. They didn't provide us any utensils for food. The waters that were offered were warm and the service was slow. Not ideal when wrangling a ; year old birthday party. The event space does provide food at a cost (pizza, chicken tenders, fries, lemonade).

Really nice place to spend an early Saturday/Sunday morning. Must take: hat, glasees, sunblock! It's a local farm where you can pick variety of veggies/fruit, such as: blueberries, strawberries, peaches, zucchini, corn, onions, jalapeño, eggplant, cucumber and others! There is also a flower field where you can pick beautiful sunflowers & other wildflower variety. There is plenty of shaded area to take a break and enjoy pizza, street tacos, smash burgers, chicken sandwiches, kettle corn, and refreshing drinks. They also have a bakery with the longest line ever, everything looked delicious! There is live music, you could easily spend a few hours of outdoor fun :)

If you're looking for the perfect family outing, this big local farm is hands-down one of our favorite places to go. We usually come for their blueberry and strawberry picking, but this time we went specifically for the sunflowers and zinnias--and it was absolutely gorgeous. Endless rows of bright blooms, beautiful photo spots, and plenty of room to wander and cut your own bouquet. What really makes this farm stand out is how much they have for the kids. Their carnival-style attraction area is huge, with rides and activities for all ages--from tiny toddlers around 2 to energetic teens up to 15. It's basically a mini theme park inside a farm, so the kids stay entertained for hours while we enjoy the scenery. Food-wise, they've got a great mix of food trucks, local vendors, and their own simple snacks and meals. But the absolute must-tries? Their fresh donuts and the frozen lemonade. The donuts come out warm and soft, and the lemonade is the most refreshing thing you can get on a hot Florida afternoon. Overall, it's the perfect place to spend a weekend with family--beautiful fields, tons for the kids to do, delicious treats, and that cozy farm atmosphere you just can't beat. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful experience! There is plenty to do. We went during the tail end of strawberry season and the start of blueberry season. With a 1 year old, we decided on strawberries. It was so much fun, and there were plenty of ripe berries. Had a great time walking the grounds as well. The blueberry donuts and milkshake are to DIE for. My husband had a strawberry cold foam coffee that was also delish. Wish we were local, we'd be regulars!!

Experience: Saw someone on FB talk about how fun this place was, so I looked up the farm and bought tickets. We decided to go on a weekday to void crazy crowds. Facility: This place is adorable. So many places are perfect for photos so that made my teens happy. The areas to explore are a pumpkin patch, orchard, flower gardens, corn maize, food area, rides and petting zoo. We loved all of it. Service: Everyone who worked here was nice, friendly and helpful. We got food, bought pumpkins, food for the petting zoo and got on the rides... all of the workers were great!! Food: we got the fresh donuts which were so good. Also the cinnamon pecans fresh from the cooker and they were soooo good. We also got a snowcone for one kid who liked it a lot. Overall: we would definitely go again and plan too. We want to come back in December to pick our own strawberries. We have over 100 photos so it will be hard to only post a few. LOL!

I absolutely love Southern Hill Farms! I've been here for blueberry and peach picking in the past, but the sunflower field is why I keep coming back. This time we were here during the fall festival is my favorite. This place truly makes my heart smile. This time here they've updated the bathrooms and added new beautiful gray barns, which was such a great improvement and made the visit even more comfortable The festival has so much to enjoy . There is a corn maze, train ride, tractor ride, s'mores, a few carnival rides, and plenty of photo opportunities. The food is mild, but the frozen lemonade is delicious and refreshing. What really made my visit extra special this time was meeting a gentleman who's worked there for over 20 years. He gave us a ride around in a golf cart, shared stories, and made great conversation. He was such a kind, genuine person who clearly loves what he does. Southern Hill Farms is always such a wholesome, happy place to visit. It's full of beauty, fun, and heart. Highly recommend!

My first time visiting this farm and I had alot of fun, despite the rainy weather! They had an area of rides for kids to play, and they had a bunch of food and drink options; my favorite was their apple crisp and the glazed apple cider donuts. They had a corn maze, a you pick flower field, a pumpkin patch, and a petting area, where you can also feed the animals. They also have a shop where you can buy their merchandise, which had shirts, honey, jams and jellys, pickles, etc; I forgot to take a picture but I tried their Honey sticks and it was amazing; its not too sweet, and some of the honey crystalized, making it crunchy and it tasted like oranges .

Such a fun time at the fall festival! Big crowd but great crowd control. Super cute photo ops for family and couples. Great fun for everyone!! Food wise we got blueberry cobbler and apple cider donuts. Drinks we got the pumpkin caramel latte, apple cider fireball, frozen apple cider, and blueberry lemonade. The rides were family friendly, but pretty fun for us too! The flowers we picked were either $1 each or $16 for a fit-as- many jar

We went out to the farm right before the big cold front came in. We really enjoyed picking strawberries and they were by far the sweetest I've ever tasted! Food and drinks are always so great! We also had not been out since they paved everything! It is so nice now walking on paved walkways so your feet and shoes stay nice and clean! They have done a great job and we will definitely be back!

First time to Southern Hills Farm. We went to pick the strawberries before the freeze tonight. What an amazing experience. There were rows and rows of beautiful, huge strawberries ready to be picked. We picked four pounds! So juicy and sweet. They also had a huge field of beautiful sunflowers ready to be cut and lots of rows of fresh vegetables. The covered area had several food options such as chicken, pizza, smash burgers, candied nuts and cocktails. Lots of picnic tables, live music and fire pits to warm up. You can also purchase items to make s'mores. Rides or the children and lots of picture ops. What a lovely day just wish it was a bit warmer.

The Fall Festival was absolutely amazing this year! It's become one of my favorite annual traditions. We had such a great time picking sunflowers and browsing the fall shop -- the pickled items were so good! This year we noticed they had an all you could grab bucket for flowers which was cool if you want more than just a few. We also grabbed some delicious BBQ from a food truck -- the brisket sandwich and mac & cheese were both decisions. I enjoyed a frozen hard apple cider while my boyfriend had an Oktoberfest beer (you have to get the cute koozie with it!). This festival is perfect for families or as a fun date idea. Next year, we're definitely trying the s'mores next to the fire! Thanks for an awesome fall experience!

This place was absolutely the best! We went for Halloween to pick out pumpkins and ended up getting so much more than just pumpkins. There were food trucks, artisan markets, and even beautiful flower fields to explore. It's also incredibly kid-friendly, with tons of activities to keep the little ones entertained, from games and rides to play areas and photo spots. We spent the afternoon sipping amazing frozen drinks, listening to live music, and picking the perfect pumpkins for the season. To top it all off, there was a candle stand where they make their own candles, and they had my absolute favorite scent, peppermint! Southern Hill Farms is the perfect mix of festive fun, family-friendly charm, and local goodness. Can't wait to go back!

A great outdoor hang out for families and lots of friends, located not too far from Orlando. Lots of parking, but expect to possibly walk far to get to the entrance. Can get busy for ticketed weekend events at the front entrance--must purchase ahead of time. Some seasons, entrance is free. The permanent food stalls under the covered patio offer a wide range of food and drink offerings. I love anytime they have a seasonal fruit beverage like frozen blueberry or strawberry lemonade, or getting cider donuts. A refillable cup makes drinks cheaper on subsequent rounds--tip: hold onto your cup from year to year! They have a small shop with various food and home items. The u-pick seasons are fun for the whole family whether that be fruit, vegetables, or flowers! They have restroom facilities. There is a kids area, one with a large "bubble trampoline" for the littles to jump on and train rides, etc.

What is the price for ticket?

Hello Sarsina! Tickets for the 2021 Fall Festival are $20 per person, plus taxes and fees, for ages 3+. You can purchase them by visiting our website. We hope to see you soon!

Hi- are you all Pet friendly for well trained dogs? We have no kids and would love to bring our son( dog) with us:)

Hello Sarah! While we do love dogs, we cannot allow animals of any kind on the farm for the health and safety of our guests in accordance with federal and state regulations. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

What activities do you provide for kids? Games, blow up jump area?

Hi Alexandrea! We do have our Kids Zone which includes jump pillows, bounce houses, games, and rides such as a carousel, swings, rock climbing, and more! We also have a covered playground for younger ones to enjoy!

Hi Carly! We do not have any resident farm animals - however, we do typically have a petting zoo during our Fall Festival.

Hi Sandy! We provide scissors for cutting while here at the farm, however you are welcome to bring your own from home if you'd rather! Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Are the strawberries ready to pick? Or is the season not here yet?

Friends of mine went a couple of weeks ago and picked strawberries

How much time should I plan to spend here?

We spent about an hour and a half which included lunch and cutting flowers. Probably would have spent longer but bad storm was coming in when we were there. I say upwards of 2-1/2 hours

Hi! are the sunflowers blooming right now?

Yes they are! I've picked 3!

    Are dogs allowed?

Hi Darci! Pets are not allowed during our spring u-pick in March, April and May due to federal and state food safety regulations. They are allowed, however, during our Fall Festival in October.

What an amazing little gem of a place. It's the kind of roadside attraction reminiscent of old Florida, but that history hasn't managed to forget. Thank goodness! This is a great attraction for the whole family. Lots of animals, play areas for the kids, and a ride around the farm in a monster truck/bus to view old citrus groves and search for Bigfoot. For me, the best part was the opportunity to interact with Lemurs and Capybaras. This was the best part of visit! The feed offerings include pails of various sizes full of fresh sliced vegetables and big heads of lettuce. What my grandkids did use for the farm animals, they reserved for the safari feed.
