I knew how talented Jennifer was, but I wasn't prepared for the total package! I went to high school with Jennifer's husband and during a high school reunion at their home, I saw some of her work. And, I thought if it worked out maybe we would come back to Maryland when it was time for Sarah Tate's senior portraits. As senior year drew closer, I reached out to see if she had some availability. Boy, am I glad I did! Sara, Jennifer's studio manager, was quick to return my call and answer all my questions. Because we live 5+ hours from Maryland, we scheduled a ZOOM call with Jennifer to discuss our vision of what Sarah Tate was looking for, to set expectations and to fully understand what we needed to have in place for the trip. From there, Sarah Tate and Jennifer texted back and forth on outfit ideas and how to prepare for the trip. Once we arrived in Maryland the day before the shoot, Sarah Tate met with Jill, the JDP stylist, and they worked together to finalize the outfits and looks for the upcoming day. This was the most amazing experience for Sarah Tate and I am just speechless at how talented Jennifer Hayes DiDio is. But, it's more than that. It's how truly kind she is. How thoughtful she is. How she can put together an outfit from some random pieces that could totally be in a high-fashion magazine. How she spent hours (yes, hours) learning about what lights my kid up. What she loves, who she is, how she sees the world. She's a storyteller for sure. And her creativity? Off the freaking charts. These photographs capture so much of who my daughter is. Most importantly, Sarah Tate was made to feel beautiful and loved on, every single minute. From the girl talk, to the fruit tray and her favorite tunes blasting, the day was all about her! The products are stunning! We ordered a canvas and two beautifully designed boxes that we will treasure forever! I am beyond grateful that Jennifer and her rock-star team lent their time and talents to make Sarah Tate's senior portraits such an amazing and unique experience.
