Now, of course I just had to investigate for myself and for the people to decide. What I discovered: 1. Meijer's floral department is waaaay fresher! You can smell their fragrance throughout the store which will put you in the mood for a little 1 stop shopping. 2. They offered sale items, which if you don't usually use Gain laundry detergent "On Sale" will change your mind. 3. The prices on clothes was a shock and looked less of quality than Walmart. Walmart is really starting to suck but if you follow Business News it's explainable. 4. Meijer's had a person posted up at the entrance door to help guide you to the correct department if you're just running in and quickly out. 5. More staff visible to assist. It wasn't until I visited this small town in Michigan that my discovered there's a Meijer's which is a Walmart competitor.
