It was like Christmas in August, with an assortment that exceeded my expectations as well as some incredible freebies added to the box. Customer service is prompt and personal; you can't get better than that. My only ding is that their website could use a bit of tweaking to make it work more efficiently, especially on check-out. Since I mentioned it to the staff, I'll bet they've resolved all of these problems by the time my review is posted. I'm a hard-core gardener and Sutton's has made the old homestead much more beautiful over the years.

And getting in touch with them to have them fix issues is very difficult. There's a chance you don't hear back at all which is where I am at now. My neighbor couldn't even get a return call from them and decided to go elsewhere especially after hearing my story. I was given a lot of advise on what to plant and how to landscape and you will see from "some" of my pictures what I ended up with.

Have always had good things to say about H.D. But I special ordered some windows . They were…read moregiven the sizes and all the specifications, etc. These are older windows the open up and down. They took all the information and made the order.I paid and waited for the windows to come in. When they did one was wrong. One window measurments were reversed, so window opened side to side. The Girl helping was very nice and helped me get it corrected. The problem is when I ordered the windows they never went over the order with me. If they had the mistake would have been caught and everything would have been right. So I ordered a new window the correct way and we went over the order to make sure it was correct. All fine ,except I had to pay a $44 restocking fee for their mistake. So when you order something from them be sure to have them go over everything before ordering and paying. And I guess they are suppose do this on orders. Mine didn't .... So my fault?

I am giving them two stars, only for the quality of the shrubs I bought. Their customer service is…read morehorrible. I needed 35 shrubs for a backyard fence cover. My gardener recommended them, as he said the price per shrub was $13 a piece. I called on the phone and the person who answered said they were $14 a piece. I figured that the price could be fluid, so I went. When I was given a price, it was now $15 a piece and $60 for delivery. I still agreed and set up a delivery for next day, on the condition I get a call when they were on their way. I also asked if I could return any unused plants and the person said yes. The next day I was about to leave my house to run errands and up drives the delivery truck. I never received a call. I was lucky I hadn't left earlier. What set me off was when I tried to return one of the plants. The same guy I bought them from tried to return $13 to me. He either didn't remember me, or tried to play me, but I showed him the receipt with the $15 a plant on it. I don't appreciate paying more than I should have. I will never shop here again.

They have 2 different areas you can have your ceremony, I choose the smaller back yard which gave it a very intimate feel. There is a huge back yard area for seating and the reception so it's all at one place. It is all covered with big gorgeous trees so you are shade covered even in the hot valley summers. All of the grounds are wonderfully maintained so the lawn, flowers, trees, shrubs look incredible all the time. They have the perfect white lights lining all of the trees to give it that secret garden feel once the sun goes down, complete with chandeliers hanging from the trees as well. The facility has tons of easy parking, a great bar area, food set up and tear down goes by without even being noticed. Service is great. Rest room area's easy. They've got a bridal sweet where the girls can get ready and store their stuff. And the whole area makes for great photos. They even have a large tent in case of the odd chance of rain. Besides being an awesome location in the middle of no where they are a one stop shop so they make the planning a breeze. I planned my Valley wedding from San Francisco so it had the potential to get a bit frustrating, but dealing with Gail and Adonas was incredibly simple. They did the food, drinks, flowers and event. They have worked with all the DJ's in the area so set up for that is simple. You meet a few times to talk about the colors, and ideas you have for decor and ta-da - it's done! They are the utmost professionals and up until the day of I just thought, well this has been way to easy - something's going to go wrong. But the entire event (other than my DJ not showing up) went smooth. Even with the crisis of the DJ being a no-show they kept their cool and had my back the whole time trying to keep me calm and do so some-what successfully. I highly highly recommend Nuckols Ranch for any nice event, weddings are perfect, but even dances, reunions or any big gathering, they will do an excellent job no matter what. It makes me wish I could have another wedding just to enjoy a party out there again : )
